The funny things about all these exhaust installation videos from every TH-camr is they always say they love how it sounds. I've never seen one where they are like "nah that's trash lets take it off."
Definitely put the coliovers on next. I love the subtle rumble of the cobb exhaust. Gives it a mature sound. All it needs is downpipe, break in time and it will sound even more livelier

Holy smokes, what an improvement in sound. Stock had the wierdest little whistle or bird chirp kinda sound. That Cobb exhaust transforms the experience in a massive way.
Those seeing these guys praise COBB, Im from and live in the portland metro area where everyone had subarus with COBB, perrin, grimmspeed, and other brands and subaru has some of the best companies to make products for them.
i have the latest wrx model premium package with axle back exhaust… i personally don’t like how this sounds … i think you guys should remove the back mufflers and give it that lil pop … still really subtle if you guys want that pop how he mentioned in the vid that he heard a lil pop

FYI, the ver 1 Cobb turboback exhaust that I had on my Bugeye WRX, lasted from 2004 to the time I sold the car in 2021. ZERO surface rust. There's a reason I continue to purchase their products to this day.

I had the awe touring on my 21 Sti sold it a month later it was definitly to loud for SoCal. Absolutely the best sounding but it got loud. Loudest decibel I recorded was 116 db

I have same car and choose awe track and it sounds perfect for me cobb it just a gentleman cat back exhaust to quiet for me and I live in Pennsylvania so there's no problem overall thank to you guys that way I could see a next step to mod my car
One of the better sounding exhaust that I've seen! I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse that I have been working on. One of the things I would like to do would be supercharged it. But it is almost impossible to find the kit for nowadays.
To any future STi owners that might want the sound without doing any other mods for your warranty sake … just do muffler deletes. Mine aren’t any louder than this, no drone, look great, save 25lbs and you can get titanium ones for like 500$ that are superb quality with burnt tips vs this 2,000$ exhaust system lol.

Even though I love Subarus and the way they drive but a “stock” Impreza always sounds so vanilla and unintentional. Meaning, this was the engineer’s way of secretly saying, “Swap it out, it’ll be Grand!” I wanna get a bold yet smooth sounding exhaust for a 2010-12 Outback in the future.

This was just the video I needed. Some videos on YT have the cobb SS catback and it sounds better than the Ti and vice versa. I'm sold.

The Cobb titanium is a lot quieter than I thought it would sound... Ti exhausts usually sound tinny. This one has a deeper purr and isn't obnoxious 👍

I think it looks better with stock white hood. Its aluminum anyway so doesn't weigh much, not much point in carbon fiber hood.

I’ve always heard that the stiffer hangars can damage the Ti welds due to the harmonics and vibes.
