Mattresses are a racket! Just bought a 2023 Sterns & Fosters Reserve, Medium, King from my cousin that can get them direct from the factory through Sealy. The MSRP is $5,200 and he got it to me delivered for $1,560. That’s 70% discount and they are still making a healthy profit of at least 200% on that transaction alone. The only thing sold today with better profit margins are Diamonds (which are a complete scam).

Yea the mark up is insane on the mattress industry. That's why everything is always on "sale". These things cost 1/5 minimum to make and ship versus what they charge.

I appreciate and saw your post today, Feb 1st, 2023 I decided to go with a Stearns & Foster, The Studio model. I have been trying to find a bed that will give me lower back support. Went from latex to purple, to an Intellibed, and not one gave me the support I am looking for. The Intellibed soft was a big mistake, I lay on this bed and felt the pain right away from lower back pain after having it for two years, today I am now going to try the Stearns & Foster Studio. My bed is a Twin XL does not mean a get a better price. I am praying tonight I will felt the support, the new bed will be a Medium Firm. Bought at Mattress Firm. Get 120 days to test it out. God Bless

We have a Hurston Estate Luxury Firm king size mattress. It started getting dips after the first month. We rotated monthly because of how much pain we had trying to sleep on it. I filed a warranty claim after a year and a half because the gullies were just getting worse. To file a claim you have to print their measuring paper, and do measurements with a broom handle across the bed. Then you have to lift the bed and stand it up because they want pictures of the foundation and frame. We were shocked to see that the frame we bought with the mattress is also sagging. We aren’t overweight, but I guess the heavy mattress was too much for the matching foundation. So, the dips when we sent the pictures were 1.5 one one side and slightly less on the other. It was rotated a week prior to that. Our claim was denied. Please research thoroughly before buying a Stearns and Foster. The price is high enough, but the quality isn’t!
