To put cut-off brake levers or not has nothing to do with the fact the brake pads are getting used or not. If you have to brake, you have to brake. This you do with a regular brake levers or cut-off brake levers. Cut-off is also not regenerative. And motor stops when not pedaling or not throttling anyway. You holding the tool "Kettenpeitsche" the wrong way. But it worked!:-)

My bike has hydraulic brakes ,will this kit still work without using the brake levers in the kit?
Their brake levers have the sensor that cuts the motor when you use them. You will just have to remember to stop pedaling, and you should be fine.

Hi, the max speed of our 350W kit is 30-32 km/h. It can be limited to 25 km/h. The max speed of our 250W kit is 25 km/h. The limit can't be canceled.
