The chest grows any way you can expand it even with those resistance bands , I haven’t benched in almost a decade mostly due to pec tear but stick with flat bars , using bar bells can be wear and tear on joints and rotator cuff it wasn’t meant to support that weight by individual arm that has to balance it also . I’ve never trained over head presses either it’s best to train shoulders at eye level or below never above the head that’s a good way to also wear out the shoulder sockets they aren’t meant to repeadily go in that direction

Do u think bench press is necessary to get a big chest or could I be ok doing flat and incline dumbell
From my research, dumbbells are just as good if not better
It’s really up to the individual but you do get a better range of motion with dumbbells
