I say get whatever works for you. But if anyone’s asking for my opinion, I say go big or go home, you get the full tablet experience, more real estate for web pages and more to see along with better battery life.
I went with the 13 inch. I’ve only spent 2 weeks with my M4 pro, but I’m glad I went with the 13. Admittedly there was a brief bit of dread the first day dealing with the size. That feeling of “i should have went with the 11” was real. It just becomes normal after a day or so. Especially with the Magic Keyboard. It’s no different than carrying around a MacBook. It’s probably not as overwhelming coming from newer larger iPads…I upgraded from the air 2……like going from a cell phone to cinema screen.
To my mind, anyone with a laptop does not need a keyboard for an iPad. I can’t think of a single keyboard usage requirement that I would not prefer to do on my MacBook over a top heavy iPad/keyboard combination.
I started with 12.9, too big Got 11, balanced loved it, still too big for one handed hold for long time But for me ipad mini killed it for me. Used it the most. Still using Don’t think ipad can replace laptops, they are more using as watching devices
Honestly 11 inch is the size to go. Everyone mostly nowadays has a laptop that’s why. And those who don’t better go for laptop n not try to replace it with 13 inch iPad
I could probably get away with the 13” iPad Air, but the only reason I’m opting for the 13” iPad Pro is bc of Face ID and the oled display. I’m so used to those things on my phone that it makes my user experience a bit meh when I’ve used other peoples cheaper iPad models
The 4 friends at school sitting in a row with me all have the M1 iPad Pro 12,9". I have the 11" M2 and though I'm kinda jealous because of miniLED, the smaller display doesn't matter for and I enjoy the smaller formfactor and weight. Both are great and very usable for school. In my case, I don't feel more narrowed or something and get the task done in the same time. Just try it out in a market or try your friends devices 🤝.
I love the 11 inch size. I gave my 11 inch pro 2020 to my daughter and my 12.9 inch m1 pro was just too big so i opted for the 11 inch again with the m4. Although i still use my ipad mini 6 more than any of my ipads I love the 11 inch m4 pro’s size and display
I just want to say that you get used to the bigger size, I have the 13" as a student (I use it without a keyboard). My parents own the second generation 12,9" iPad Pro (the old design with huge bezels) and they are convinced I own the 11", even when I tell them no we have the same screen size, it's just a new design 😆
I like the 13” air - can go between handheld and table top. I returned the M1 Pro finding it too heavy for on the couch handheld use. Most reviews aren’t covering this difference.
I’m thinking of getting the 13-inch model, but I’m not sure about the storage choices. I definitely need at least the 512GB version, but is the 1TB version worth it with the double the RAM, considering the huge price difference?
From the videos I've watched, there is a limitation on how much RAM the iPad OS can use (only 5 RAM ), so there is no significant difference, the 8 RAM will be sufficient for most of your tasks.
@@Nicole-yj8ts thanks for your response I heard and read similiar Stufe but I was thinking about longevity espacially with Apple Intelligence and maybe are more Advanced iPadOS in the Future.

In other words…Get an 11” Pro if you want a tablet. Buy a 14” MacBook Pro if you want a laptop.
11" is the bitch size just get a 13" for the full tablet experience. Anything below that might as well as just stick to your iPhone.
Lol
@@PeaksW_ 13" is the awkward size just get a 11" for the full tablet experience. Anything above that might as well as just stick to your MacBook Pro.

I sold my MacBook and 11 inch pro back in 2020, and opted for the 12.9 and a Mac mini. This has been the perfect setup for me.
Conclusion, as iPadOs is far from being MacOs, an 11-inch iPhone is more than enough

I got the 13 inch as for me it will be a laptop replacement so the screen size is needed, and I am really enjoying it
Let’s gooooo new video!

You’re better off getting the basic iPad if all you do is content consumption. The iPad mini is too small and only a small minority of users use it.

Pro motion is noticeable as well
Where do you talk about battery life?

Does the 11' M4 ipad pro's MagEZ Case 2 close while attached to the magic keyboard?
MacBook Pro 16” + iPhone Pro (normal size) + iPad Pro 11“ = Full productivity combo
This man is beautiful

If I trade my Apple Watch Ultra 2 for this iPad Pro is it worth it?
yes
I’d say so. You will gain so much more screen size 😂
why did you get an ultra watch 2 to begin with.
There's only one MKBHD - and you're not it.
