the google case is smooth but I still like the feel of it. The color of the case is actually the color of your phone, plus its the only case that has the G logo on it. i want people to know it is a google phone.
Thank you! I had been looking for videos like this that are more exhaustive and thorough. A couple of cases that I didn’t see here that I’d be interested in seeing are the Nillkin MagSafe case and the Peak Design Everday Case. Thank you!
Thanks for your exhaustive review of the Pixel 9 pro cases. With all the case choices available, it really helps having a video that explains the features of each case. I found your reviews to be detailed and informative (metal marble drop test on screen protector & description of material and texture). Keep up the good work, I highly appreciate it. Once I decide upon a case, I will definitely buy it from your included links.
Great video as always. I got the Torras 360 Spin case on mine. I've never had a kickstand case before but i love this one. The sides aren't slippery at all even though i thought they might be when i got it. I use a Magsafe charger in my car every day with this case. I hear the stand when i put it on or take it off the charger but it doesn't ever flex open. I do like it being magnetic and being able to mount it to a metal surface. That's a bonus when working out. Great case for the money.
Can you start doing videos like this for the prettiest cases? 🤣 I'm a phone case addict, I have over 100 for my S23 Plus (seriously) and I love decent protection (I stay away from slim cases) but I love cases from Velvet Caviar, Burga, Casetify, etc. I need you to do the same as you've done here but just all the best cases for girls. 🤣
Oh my God, I wish someone would start a cutest phone cases channel. I have about 70-80 cases between an s23 ultra and a 13 pro max, mostly Casetify but need to see what they look like on the Pixel before buying one.
Please oh please make the video where you compare screen protectors, the ones I got are good but the fingerprint scanner hardly work.. Love the videos!!!
I have always used the Cuadabe Sheath on my iPhone’s but unfortunately the case isn’t made for the Pixel 9 pro XL. I just picked up the Ringke Oynx very similar thanks
Great video and given me some thoughts on extra cases now! I've got both the official Google Pixel case and the Mous thin case, which if you don't mind cases with low grip texture are both great, I often swap them over, it's a shame the Google official case is not magsafe compatible though. I like the soft feel of the Google case, it's quality and offers good protection, whilst the thin Mous case, is more for when you want a case that's hardly there, but it is excellent and I'm not a fan of cases with raised front edges as they do get in the way of gesture navigation.
Thanks for this video, but have you seen the casefinite cases from Japan? And the case mates clear case with magsafe. And you should also test if the magsafe cases work with the Pixel stand 2.
tried 2 of these. satisfied with TORRAS Magsafe that feels so good in hand. another one CASEOLOGY is so disappointing. it has a hard n thick back that makes the phone feel like a piece of cheap plastic.
I tried both the SPIGEN Slim Armor CS and the SPIGEN Enzo Aramid. I returned both. I have now the SPIGEN Tough Armor. Yesterday it saved me from a 4 feet fall corner first to the bathroom tiles. Loud noise but no damage at all. I could tell where it hit the floor, and even where the dust got crushed inside (now they are tiny diamonds :-D) I returned the Enzo Aramid because it didn't give a sense of protection, the looks are not that great, looks like the buttons will pop up soon, and it's so hard to remove that annoyed me. The aluminum frame around the camera island is not a good idea. I don't want any metal so close to the phone body. The Slim Armor CS back design is ugly, and the insert was already popping out, so I gave up on it.
I've had a Spigen Liquid Air on my OP 6T for a few years now and I love it, but I do wish it were a little more grippy. Still better than no case at all though.
thank you for this! i loved the variety of cases, you helped me pick out which case to go with! the Torras Magsafe case with Kickstand is exactly what i was looking for! would love to see some cases from Tauri next time
I ended up getting the mous super thin case but it is slippery and a fingerprint magnet. Been looking at the thinborne case but it's far too expensive, here in the UK even with 15% off still works out at £60 with shipping which is way too much for a case. May go for the ringke onyx camo instead.
Thank you for a perfect and informative video. I already ordered the TORRAS 360° Spin Magnetic Stand before your review, but it does not have such good protection for the photo lenses on the back of the phone. Please, what do you think about the protective glass on it? Should I buy it or not? Thank you in advance for your reply.
thanks for the review. which ones do you think provide the best camera bump protection? i have been disappointed with the low clearance on the 9 on the 9 pro xl cases. i was using a caseology nanopop for the 8 pro and it had much better camera protection compared to the new version. any alternatives you recommend?
I had the CASEOLOGY Parallax for my Pixel 7 (traded in for my current Pixel 9 Pro XL), and I really liked, but the new one is just the same design. In other hand, I also had the CASEOLOGY Athlex for my Pixel 7, and the color combination was so great, black and neon green... I loved that case, until one day I dry to dry it out with a hot air gun, well... The grip was amazing. Again, the new CASEOLOGY Athlex for the Pixel 9 Pro XL is just so ugly... if they had used the same design, colors, I would have bought it. The CASEOLOGY Nano pop problem for me is the lack of a great black/bright color. Blue/yellow is not for me. Black/gray, neither. If they had black/yellow or black/green, I would be sold.
@@zackjacoby7599 I would have no hopes... these companies are super lazy... except by iPhones and Galaxys, they will not waste time doing for Paixel the whole lineup. They had the models for months now... they even created other cases for the Paixel 9. The rest is lazyness.
Damn I got a D brand grip and love it! But as much as I use my phone at work I might have to get an old school otter box defender so I have a clip .. looks foolish but great at work!
Now, I'm thinking about a MagSafe case now, in special because of a power bank usage. I was about to get a MOUS Limitless 5.0 Aramid, but, they have really bad reviews, and just having a carbon fiber insert is not ideal. It's not even listed as Aramid, maybe because those are different materials - Aramid is the Kevlar one. I want the Spigen one, because I know the brand. But the model is not here. It's the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Metal Ring MagFit. Torras made the huge mistake of doing the camera island to look like the Pixel 7/8... Why?
The mous case is too bulky and rigid. Feels like a brick in the hands. Torras and ringke are two great options. Torras messed up with the camera bump but you'll barely notice after the first day.
@@thinborneI figured but seeing the tightness of the case made me wonder. not familiar with aramid fiber perhaps it can't scratch metal idk 😅 while I have you tho, any chance of a slim case with button covers? currently use your Caseborne clear case but would love to try something like this.
@vvorthabilly Nowadays, the phone is pretty solid. On my side, I understand people want protection, so there is a free tempered glass screen protector. As long as you use that combo, I would say you are 95% fine. For the remaining 5%, the Otterbox defender will also be wasted when something happens.
Kudos to you and your channel! You're the only one doing this.
Thank you ! 😊
the google case is smooth but I still like the feel of it. The color of the case is actually the color of your phone, plus its the only case that has the G logo on it. i want people to know it is a google phone.
Good lord that's some sheer dedication. Thank you so much! Wish a video like this existed for the Nothing Phone(2).
Dude, what are you doing to me. It’s nearly my bed time and you’ve just dropped a feature length! Hey ho, let me get my popcorn…….
$70 for the thinborne case is wild!! I just ordered one without Thinborne printed on it for less than half the price.
Which one?
Thank you! I had been looking for videos like this that are more exhaustive and thorough.

I love these videos!! It helps me with ordering cases! Keep up the great work, especially creating chapters!!
Great video, thank you! It was very very helpful. I like that you say it like it is and don't just try to get people to buy every case.
I bought the Mous 5.0 case for my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL because of your review. Keep up with the good work.
Really appreciate all the effort you put into this video. I don't have a pixel 9 or any of these cases but this video was a really good watch.
My OCD kicks in every time you put the cases from the non-buttons side first! You need to put the buttons side first! Great video, man!
Subscribed and I got a CASEOLOGY Capella Kickstand with your link. Looks great on your review.

Thank you for this review! Would love to see Dbrand and Peak Design (when it's out).
Bro you the saviour for me and my confusion for cases 😅😅😅😅
Too bad Ringke didn't release their Fusion transparent matt black case. Any transparent matt case for the P9P XL?
Where did you get that blacky red wallpaper?

Agree with you on the Enzo. Wish I liked it more, but don't care for it for the same reasons you mentioned, plus the "huge" gap around the camera🤨
Would have been nice to see the Pitaka Aramid case. The Bellroy is beautiful though
😢 did ya see Thinborne?
@@thinborne haha I did, it's on my radar thanks 😅
@kevinwatson5190 thanks for giving money to Texans business, so my wife can add some luxury bags hahah
Got Nilkin case for 9 Pro with camera slider, looks sick and protects camera (not to mention it's hella cheap)

Great reviews. I had to return the original case because, as you mentioned, it is too slippery.
The slippery goes away in about 3-5 days.

VERY GOOD
Awesome, man!
Been waiting for this video... I already have the Torras 360 spin as a daily but looking for something else that's thinner to use at home.
We are as thin as the skin sense
I guess it depends on skin type. The official Google silicone case is actually very grippy for me.

Is there a case similar to the official Google pixel 8 one from last year? I'm looking for one that has that gel-sticky grip on the entire back.

Most of them are aliexpress overpriced branded cases
Spigen cases are defective for the pixel 9. They're loose on the sides and they squeak when you hold your phone.
