  • Dear viewer,
In this video I am showing you how to retrofit the new and improved accelerator/gas pedal that comes in newer facelift Mercedes G-Wagons (2007 through 2018) on an early G-Class. The guide is made on the G, as that is what I have, but it may be applicable to other 90s Mercedes models that use the same gas pedal and feature a DrvieByWire setup.
For those of you who would want to copy the L-shaped bracket that I used, in the video I have added a precise template for you to use as a blueprint.
If you liked the video, please consider giving it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel for more content like this! As always if you have any questions, feel free to post them in the comment section below. I do my best to answer to all comments.

Can't promise that this will be in a video soon, as I don't need to take it out for any one particular reason. Still, I will consider it.

Did the soundproofing help with wind noise?

This was more about road noise coming from the floor. If you are trying to reduce wind noise you will need to get new door and window rubber seals. Sometimes the sunroof seal can also be a culprit.
