Dealing with Oil Leaks & Other Deferred Maintenance Items (Mercedes-Benz G500 W463 Restoration)

In this video I am finally beginning the work on the multitude of engine-related issues plaguing my cheap and neglected Mercedes-Benz G500. These are mostly related, to deferred maintenance, which should have been tackled quite some time ago.
More specifically in this particular video, I changing the very old engine air filters, reselling the leaking valve covers and going over the spark plugs and ignition wiring. Especially the valve cover gaskets and the ignition wiring are pain points of these engines and should be replaced preventatively in order to avoid potential issues. While I am it I also got new plugs for the G-Class, but it turns out this was probably the only one thing, which someone actually took the time to replace.
