I looooove to watch inside the cockpit :D Please more video like this one my dear friend from Nara :) Just one question though, how do they turn when they are on the ground, i noticed they don't use the control yoke, maybe some pedals i guess! Small aeroplanes use the rudder paddles linked to the nose wheel to steer the aeroplane on the ground when taxing and larger aeroplanes use a tiller (small wheel or crank that the pilot uses one hand to operate). The yolk controls the elevator and ailerons. I have probably failed my test now. Ha ha. Oh well ! On some not so large aeroplanes the tiller is on the left side only but on large aeroplanes it is on both sides.
***** Absolutely! I saw a video with an Airbus A320, the pilot shows during all the landing process, all the controls he uses! So impressive, side stick, control Yoke, tiller, rudder paddles and even somekind of parking brake at the end! I am very impressed!

Loved the video but why ruin it with all that horrible music. it would have been more enjoyable being able to hear the turbo props and the general cockpit bells and noises. Even a simple bit of radio communication would have been better.

There is a "wheel" on the captain's side and he uses his left hand to turn the wheel which turns the nose wheel. It is only used on the ground!
