    Hi Jacob 👋 great little video 👍 and a great day 👍 just a little correction to your comment on the other bikes, there was also a 450WR, a 430 Beta, a 390 Beta and a 350 Husqi 👍

      Thanks Keith! Big assumption on my part as I didn’t check on the day, the only real chance was at the coffee stop 🤦‍♂️ thanks for the correction!

    You did really well with tyres that in honesty were not helping you much. They would be fine for summer riding butsomething more aggressive will help you out in the winter. Glad you made it all the way round, let us know when you're back and you'd be welcome to join us again.

      Thanks John, was a brilliant day. I’ll be getting tyres asap. Back toward mid December so back for some icebreakers I’m sure 🧊

    Despite not having my bike delivered yet, I have already purchased a set of Mitas Enduro Trail XT+ tyres 80/20 off-road /road. They are very reasonably priced and just like the 450MT is getting great reviews for the performance they offer for the money. If they are good enough for Chris Birch they’ll be good enough for me 👍

    • @Papanchasonline
      @Papanchasonline  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’ll check these out Chris, thanks for the heads up. I was going to stick some real aggressive tyres on for the winter… 50/50 and see how we go

      Thanks for the info. I'll do the same - my bike is coming in March with next batch ( high seat , fender )....
      Are you getting metal frame hand guards ?

    • @chrisgreen1094
      @chrisgreen1094 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@istra70I have a set of Bark Buster hand guards ordered, an off road front mudguard and when funds allow I’ll get a better bash guard and the upper crash bars.

      Today I was running around 22 in each - I probably wouldn't go much lower given the weight of the bike it might be a little low to go, most definitely has an effect on the road handling

    Recognise a few of those trails, local to me. Is this a TRF rideout or other organised ride? Be interested to join in future. Great vid and good to see more of the MT

    • @Papanchasonline
      @Papanchasonline  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Adam - this is a ride out organised with the local TRF group mate - I’d absolutely recommend joining if you want to get out with a good bunch. Thanks for stopping by man!

    Fair play for giving it a go in these conditions. I'm riding a CRF250Rally, for similar reasons to your selection, trail and travel. Stock tyres are rarely sufficient for all conditions, for me on the crf i've been using Michelin Trackers for UK green lanes. I put Continental TKC80's on this summer for a trip to trail ride in the Italian alps and they were great for road/hard pack/gravel but back on UK lanes they've shown that mud is their limit, so it's soon back to the Trackers for the winter. These bikes will get you wherever you want to go, but tyre choice is key and it's best, probably (only my opinion, nothing better than that), to swap tyres over to suit your plans.
    I recognise some, but not all of these lanes...more explorings to do I think.

    • @Papanchasonline
      @Papanchasonline  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey Matthew, thanks for coming by the channel man. How do you find the 250? It was on my list of bikes for consideration… I agree with switching the tyres out. Always more exploring!

      It is brilliant value. Ticks a lot of boxes for many across the board, very excited to chuck some knobbies on once I’m back and get out for some real fun in the dirt. Overall it’s a very capable machine! If only a touch heavy

      @@Papanchasonline Loving the MT, just what i was looking for, ticks lots of boxes. The tyres are road biased but not surprising, pretty good in the dry, the brand is CST

    Honestly, I am a bit shit scared of the tyres. I've only just run in the first 1000km.

    • @Papanchasonline
      @Papanchasonline  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      😂 they aren’t too bad, I’m quite happy with them on gravel and dry terrain // the road has been ok. As soon it gets sloppy they get caked instantly and then you have zero traction. I’ll be sure to come check out some of your vids mate!

    Just curious can you pick up the bike on your own?
    Hopefully new riders know a inexperienced rider cannot take this bike in these conditions and expect not to drop the bike multiple times( if they can pick the bike up after first crash )😮

    • @Papanchasonline
      @Papanchasonline  7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@SomewhereInside no problem at all mate - even dropped it on a hill and managed to get it up. BUT, I’m not a tiny guy so it’s variable from person to person I’m sure… I think with the crash bars it would be even easier as they’d keep it higher from the ground and offer more leverage.
      It’s not the best bike for beginners to learn trial riding on though - I have this for touring next year. Truth is, it is a heavy bike, you can’t avoid the obvious fact that it’s still 200kilos!

    Brilliant. That's the bike Yamaha should come out with instead of Tenere.... I ordered mine ( high seat and front fender ) - coming with next batch in March. Can't wait ....

    • @Papanchasonline
      @Papanchasonline  หลายเดือนก่อน

      In all honesty, if I could afford a Tenere I might have swayed that way… but the for the price point of the CF MT - you just can’t go wrong. Congratulations man, very excited for you! All in time for Spring

    As an owner in Australia can I say that you shouldn’t get to caught up worrying/ talking about stock tires because with every single dirt/ adventure/ mx / SX bike the tires are such a compromise or for compliance with state regulations that it’s a given that you will change them for something that better for what you want to do , the same with suspension to a point

    • @Papanchasonline
      @Papanchasonline  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thanks man - although the suspension here ain’t half bad!!! I’ll get these new tyres out on the lanes for a day tomorrow, see how they hold up

  • @007vsMagua

    Interesting, but it would be nice to hold it at 80 all day long.

    • @Papanchasonline
      @Papanchasonline  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It would, but I still stand by this bike being a great all rounder. Many have switched out the 14t to a 15t front sprocket which seems to aid with top speeds. Not sure how much of an effect it has on the lower end power…

  • @chrisa7237
    @chrisa7237 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Why wouldn't you want to do 70 for too long? The Himalayan will sit at 70/80 mph all day.

    • @Papanchasonline
      @Papanchasonline  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I mention in this video that I personally feel the Himy is smoother at higher speeds… the CF just feels like it’s being pushed at anything beyond 70 - there is the 15t front sprocket fix which brings the revs down… but it’s not something I’m too bothered about for the time being
