The original version of this track sounds like a SNES-era RPG final boss theme, of the kind you'd expect in a classic Squaresoft game. Demetori just updated it to a modern-era final boss theme. The mixture of thundering metal crescendos and prog-rock squeedly-meedlyness reminds me a ton of the soundtrack to The Last Remnant. And that's awesome. It's also one of the few Touhour tracks that totally works as metal. There's nothign dancey about this tune - it's an epic boss theme, pure and simple

That would be an interesting spellcard to play against, only on higher difficulties of course as I don't think that be too fun in normal or easy.
