From a Buddhist perspective she's terrifying, because she's like the opposite of Nirvana; she's not quite the original person who was trapped in suffering, she's that person's suffering. And yet she exists, the game ends, you beat her, and she has to go on with her life. Can a fucking _emotion_ have Buddha-nature?
Emotions can't exist independently of a subject. Junko has cast off everything except her desire for revenge, even the other emotions/attachments that gave rise to it. She is both an exceptionally pure and defiled being at the same time, almost like an inverse Bodhisattva.

What i really love about this is that its not trying to copy the song note for note, which often in instrumental version would end up sounding kind of dull, but rather the *feel* of the song, the slow, descending buildup at the start, leading all the way to the screaming chorus. You can really only do that if you understand what the song is conveying, and they fucking nailed it. Am so glad this exists.

Is all about culture, in occident Immortals are refered as beings that just cannot die by age, but in Japan, China and some others Immortals are refered as beings that cannot die by any way (burned, desintegrated, etc), all depends on the culture, and well, Touhou is a Japanese game so... In any case is for this that Remilia is not refered as an immortal being, she is refered as an eternal being, in Japanese culture that means that she cannot die by age but yes by something like destroy her head.
I think Junko would probably be okay with jokes tbh as long as two conditions are met 1.) The joke is not insensitive (make sure her son is not the punchline or part of it or just don't mention him at all infact just don't mention her past family and if it's a joke about Change then make sure it disses her specifically) and 2.) Flandre truly was our hero against this unstoppable onslaught of vengeance.
Blyat Cyka No. Hecatia was her last line of defense, at least in my Gensokyo. I don’t know about the others, but I know this. I killed Hecatia with the very blade she gave me, and Flandre had eviscerated Junko, but Junko was not allowed a death. She’d been sealed away.
I am pretty sure Junko still use spell cards, or else she would ''kill you unconditionally'' (although doesn't really obey the rule). More importantly, you, Remilia and Flandre aren't even relate to the incident, while Reisen and Green Reimu is, where are they?
This isn't my absolute Favorite song from Demetori (the title still goes to The MadPiero Laughs), but this one comes very close behind. MadPiero gives me more imagination for an epic race, but this one gives one of a pure fight.
Fun fact: "Pure furies" is a great description of how people feel fighting the girl in the images. Also the story of her is pretty confusing so I'm not gonna explain cuz I don't understand it fully either.
