Dying is not only designated to senior citizens, it happen young adult and even children from disease like cancer or accidents. I can think of 3 stories in recent years where women had 3 or 4 kids while most every last one of them including one who lost her husband too due to a car accident. Imagine having a family with a spouse and few kids and they get into a accident and you lose everybody. What's meant to be will be regardless of our own plans in life.

I’m not sure legacy is only about children. Some people without kids give back to their communities in ways that some parents don’t even give back to their kids. It’s about the purpose, not about what we have.
There are plenty of young women who end up having high risk pregnancies too like gestational diabetes. Sometimes younger women even have problems getting pregnant or are just baren. They end up using vitrio fertilization or a surrogates. I volunteer one day a month at a senior center and I will tell you this, any woman who thinks having children is not the period on their sentence is dead wrong. It is heartbreaking. @@theDavidChannel1 They at least have memories of better times and know in their hearts that they will live on in the children and grandchildren they will leave behind. And that gives them comfort. Childless seniors don't have that comfort. They have regrets. And that is truly heartbreaking.
I don't want children and I am very happy that I have managed to ignore the loud demands of society which continues to try to dicate what women should and shouldn't do with their bodies and I have instead done what's right for me. Once women start realising that they have choices the birth rate will naturally decline (as it is already doing)

There are plenty of young women who end up having high risk pregnancies too like gestational diabetes. Sometimes younger women even have problems getting pregnant or are just baren. They end up using vitrio fertilization or a surrogates. Jackson, Tamron Hall, Eve, Melody Hobson all had children later in life...hell even Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks are older women but they each have a child now. This ageism posed on older women going through a pregnancy is a westernized thing. There are women i others countries having babies in their 50's. There was one story about 5 or 6 yrs ago where the grandmother volunteered to be her daughters surrogate. The mother was in shape and had taken care of herself. The doctor told her that her uterus was like that of a woman half her age. Her daughter couldn't conceive a baby. The grandmother birthed a full term health baby naturally.
