The will of the masses. Good/popular comments get upvotes, bad ones don't. I have no sway over that, I just comment. Also, I may be on Kripp's friend list, but that's about as far as that goes. No benefits or special privileges or anything of that nature.
The title suggests Anti-Warrior, while there's only ONE Warrior encountered in this video. And nothing to spoil in that game because the opponent SUCKS. Highlight: 5 mana 5/6 "devolves" into 4 mana 7/7 and 2 mana 3/2 into 3/1 with windfury LUL 8:12 Self mill Brann 21:49 0 mana 10/10 devolve into Mayor Noggenfogger 23:27, and the Anomalous 23:33 LUL. Never lucky ResidentSleeper Kripp thinks he had it. 25:23 Win rate in the end 6-2. You're welcome.
It was like watching a play for kids, and that one kid that runs out and back because they weren't sure if it was there turn to come on stage. Then one of the teachers shoved him back out.
that anomalus play really highlights the the importance of understanding game mechanics (knowing that your deathrattle will trigger after the minion you kill because it was played first.)
Try replacing a Devolve with a White Eyes - the taunt grants a win condition and a defensive tool if it should fall to that - and I think the deck is better.
The beauty of Thalnos is he is very fluid in how you use him, you should save up for him because he is one of those legendaries that will always see play.
the best thing about thalnos is his versatility, drop him for card draw if you are desperate, use it to destroy a threat or give you a push for lethal (both with the spellpower and the draw). That's why he's a staple in so many decks. I guess you could replace it with a kobold geomancer but you're really going to feel the drop in power.
beating shit warriors is what makes me happy, especially shit warriors that spam emotes and then loose like they would get fucked twice from behind. Its so awesome.
well its all about luck...RNG favor wins the game..there are those that kinda imagine skill in this game but those are kids in 99 % of the times...rest understand if your RNG is in favor you win...end of story...
Not at all. Pirate Tempo Rogue as well as Miracle Rogue seem to be in a decent spot. Multiple players have already piloted variants of both decks to legend - which can't be said for any Paladin or Hunter deck, for example. Just because r/hearthstone likes to circlejerk about Rogue doesn't mean it's actually bad.
Lothras pirate tempo rogue isn't rogue. People play the rogue class in constructed for a unique combo deck experience. If they wanted to play pirate tempo they would just draft arena instead.
Devolve I have gotten mixed results from. Against some decks it just destroys stratagies and other decks it somehow manages to backfire spectacularly. Basically don't use against Shaman with totems and don't use against lots of jade golems.
If you are reading this, then listen to me! Don't scroll down more, the kripperians have taken over everything, it's lost. *TAKE MY WARNING AND LEAVE!!*
Have seen so many druids shuffle first with their Jade Idols - and unless they're running only a single copy of them (which seems like madness in a Jade Golem dedicated deck), it seems like madness. Admittedly I haven't done the theorycrafting, but intuition tells me that you want to play the first one as a Golem every time (in order to buff your counter up, as well as developing the board earlier when it's more important), and then only shuffle in more copies when you're down to your last copy. I get the reasoning people probably have behind shuffling it first (higher chance to draw it on each subsequent turn), but really, do you want to be drawing that as opposed to any of your other Jade cards, or any of your 5+ mana cards? It's going to be rare that you're going to be able to shuffle your first idol after having played every other card you'd rather be drawing than an Idol.
Off the top of my head, the only time I could consider that appropriate is if you're playing a miracle druid style deck and thus want to draw into more 1 mana spells when you play your Auctioneer. Besides that, it's going to be rare that you're going to want to draw a card that just creates a Jade Golem when you likely still have cards that create Jade Golems, as well as other strong lategame cards like Rag or Blackpaw. Again, no theorycrafting, but intuitively it seems wrong. Seems like the situations where you should make Jade Idols out of your non-last Idol are: 1) when the quality of the remaining cards in your deck is on average less powerful than playing a Jade Idol as a golem (so basically half your cards less are inferior to golems) or 2) you're playing a miracle druid style of deck.
It depends on the matchup. In a slow matchup, you are at an advantage and should probably go for more greed and shuffle it in. Its not like a control deck is going to pressure you much (they might try though). The faster the matchup, the more likely it is correct to summon the golem. It all depends on how much pressure you get, since you can pretty much auto-win the late game against every deck with enough Jade Idols.
i just battled a priest who made his hero power cost 0 than went into shadowform and played coldora drake. i knew he had won but i made him click the full 26hpand 23 armor
Shaman has so many absurdly powerful cards, you can close your eyes and make a deck with random Shaman cards and still beat most other non-Shaman decks.
I've found that reno dragon priest easily out values and out clears regular dragon priest. The diversity and value raza kazakus and reno provide are quite valuable. diversity seems to beat consistency.
I was playing rank 19 the other day with a control-ish rogue deck trying out the new cards and I seriously faced 4 face hunters IN A ROW and lost every match. So my bright idea was to make a counter deck to it and of course I played about 5 more games with that deck and didn't come across a single hunter....
Kripp if you get a chance you should make an Evolve deck. These dopplegangsters + barnes, my gosh golly, you can really get some beafy minions on turn 6. Dopplegangster- Evolve = three 6 costs minions ;)
Potions, Jade and Buffs are in for this expansion. Makes me wildly curious what they'll be able to come up with for the next expansion, since BRM, TGT and LoE are being rotated out with the next year, right? Also Funny and Lucky moments, Devolve special?
Are people really having success with the Jade archetype? I was getting destroyed by it with my usual Control decks, but I home-brewed a Reno Dragon Priest, mulligan for aggression, and I almost always put out enough pressure to stop them from gaining momentum. A 10-mana Kazakus spell usually seals the deal.
raynaldo arlen k.eman Ive only been against it once in around 20 games, so I dont think I need to change my deck just to counter them. Also, I like making Reno decks since it makes you play differently than you normally would
That's the story of my deck building life. If you build for playing against zoo, you don't fight zoo. If you build for control you end up getting rushed down. Feelsbadman
turns out devolve pretty good against deathrattle. playing my deathrattle jade rogue and was pretty sad to watch a couple deathrattles and a raptor get turned into other crap
Can someone explain the Lightning Storm play to me at 23:36 ? It seemed to me he could've hit the 1/7 with his 7/5 and triggered Anomalus with his 6/4 and have an 8/8 left on the board after.
Jade Spirit might have the best dang summoning cry ever. I love that energetic "WOO WOO!", sounds so happy.
Mathmachine Because dicks like me dislike it *I AM THE ONE*, *DABS*

I also love the Weasel's cry. The wheezing laugh perfectly fits such a troll card.

What is this BS. Kripperino accounts are supposed to spam dumb memes, not actually be helpful.

I like what you do man. Keep it up.

That one confused card thought it was her turn to be drawn at 14:43.
Pea Lover lol
Did you just assume the card's gender? Kappa
i have valued cards in my deck that identify as male thankyou ver ymuch
Did u just assume a card's gender?

that anomalus play really highlights the the importance of understanding game mechanics (knowing that your deathrattle will trigger after the minion you kill because it was played first.)
Or that was the only sensible kill?
Try replacing a Devolve with a White Eyes - the taunt grants a win condition and a defensive tool if it should fall to that - and I think the deck is better.
what's a good replacement for thalnos? is the card draw or spell dmg more important?
Llamad Mow Nononononono he NEEDED the second devolve for that noggenfogger against the Druid
The beauty of Thalnos is he is very fluid in how you use him, you should save up for him because he is one of those legendaries that will always see play.
+Duckehhh h things that makes thalanos so strong is that he is a single card the covers to things both draw and spell power for cheap
the best thing about thalnos is his versatility, drop him for card draw if you are desperate, use it to destroy a threat or give you a push for lethal (both with the spellpower and the draw). That's why he's a staple in so many decks. I guess you could replace it with a kobold geomancer but you're really going to feel the drop in power.
I'm glad kripp beat that warrior since he kept spamming emotes, because he thought he would win
beating shit warriors is what makes me happy, especially shit warriors that spam emotes and then loose like they would get fucked twice from behind. Its so awesome.
he wa sprobly just spamming emotes cus he noticed it was kripp
well its all about luck...RNG favor wins the game..there are those that kinda imagine skill in this game but those are kids in 99 % of the times...rest understand if your RNG is in favor you win...end of story...
Pretty sure he wasn't spamming because he thought he would win lmao
Is it TheLegend27?
Just shut up
LostEmperor Who is Crusher99?
Lmao I just died
Oh my goodness that advert is so stupid.
Yeah! the legend 27
miracle rogue is doing pretty good 50% of the time. that 50% relies almost 100% on whether you have the auctioneer between turns 5-8
rogue is not fucked it's just a coin flip class
Not at all. Pirate Tempo Rogue as well as Miracle Rogue seem to be in a decent spot. I use devolve as an awesome silence effect... especially spectacular against buff paladin!
it's a very sad card against the jade storm however
I love how Blizzard's logic of how to fix broken decks is just making every class broken in its own way
If everyone is OP then no one is OP :)
Bokan96 #DotA
Hi-didly-ho, neighborinos! NedFlanderino Kripperino here!
Shit
NedFlanderino Kripperino L
Try to figure out a deck against weasel tunnneler !
Devolve I have gotten mixed results from. Against some decks it just destroys stratagies and other decks it somehow manages to backfire spectacularly. Basically don't use against Shaman with totems and don't use against lots of jade golems.

HAPPY FEAST OF WINTERKRIPP
That one card at 14:44 is my spirit animal
Love the Devolve shenanigans!
that last devolve was ruthless
Alchenai + That new healing potion = you would be dead, Kripp
oh
Thanks Kripp for the fun deck ideas :)
doing good with this deck thank you kripp as always, great deck building!
the old handlock and Reno locks are pretty good at stomping the warriors
Have seen so many druids shuffle first with their Jade Idols - and unless they're running only a single copy of them (which seems like madness in a Jade Golem dedicated deck), it seems like madness.

The Jade Druids I've seen are a miracle style deck. They get lots of idols in their deck then go off with Fandral/Auctioneer.
That devolve on the first clip made me laugh
Happy Feast of Winter Veil!!
The Jade Druid game: Shuffle or no guts.
I really like this deck! I do not have as good of luck as you do with it lol, but I really like playing it none the less!
Follow the hand!
The first devolve that was used against me turned my obsidian destroyer into a big-time racketeer...
All warriors are legend already :D
devolve can be pretty good against murloc paladins!
use it when his board has lots of murlocs before he plays his first anyfin!
Kripp's BM is so savage!!!!
i just battled a priest who made his hero power cost 0 than went into shadowform and played coldora drake. i knew he had won but i made him click the full 26hpand 23 armor
im loving Jade Shaman atm
Devolve is a good counter to these new buff-paladin decks too. (Don Han'Cho buffing Dopplegangster is GG against almost all decks).
Zoo is a great counter to Pirate Warrior and Jade Druid. It gets wrecked by RenoLock and Priest though.
i love it when the jade druid spends half the game putting more idols in their deck. i typically beat them before they get a golem above a 5/5 lol
just clicking on the vid too see the kripperino dudes
-2 Devolve -1 Hallazeal the Ascended +2 Hex +1 White Eyes
I *LOVED* this moment 23:22 x'D
Jade Spirit is my personal favourite card, WOO HOO! :D
Double Ooze opening against a Warrior? Nasty.
Shaman has so many absurdly powerful cards, you can close your eyes and make a deck with random Shaman cards and still beat most other non-Shaman decks.
eh i wouldnt say that lol
that's funny cuz three expansions ago that would have been the most outlandish statement anyone could make lol
KhaPha still is lol
First guy was clearly sniping. He know it was Krip and that's why he kept saying hello. Then quit before his board was wiped
I've found that reno dragon priest easily out values and out clears regular dragon priest. The diversity and value raza kazakus and reno provide are quite valuable. diversity seems to beat consistency.

So my bright idea was to make a counter deck to it and of course I played about 5 more games with that deck and didn't come across a single hunter....
I'm happy because I made a deck similar to this earlier today. Kripp I am become you
im actually gonna build this deck it looks pretty fun
Kripp if you get a chance you should make an Evolve deck. These dopplegangsters + barnes, my gosh golly, you can really get some beafy minions on turn 6.
Dopplegangster- Evolve = three 6 costs minions ;)
27:30 Deathwing would save him, but the real savior is coldlight into bran coldlight
Moo
Cowerino Kripperino thats deep.
Cowerino Kripperino same
Cowerino Kripperino hey brotha
These Jade Golem decks remind me of Yasuo from league of legends. He's SO CRAZY BROKEN, but actually not braindead.
if u won the board u can be as brain dead as u wish (as long as u know how to smorc)
and if yasuo is fed enough he is also brain dead ^^
Potions, Jade and Buffs are in for this expansion.
Makes me wildly curious what they'll be able to come up with for the next expansion, since BRM, TGT and LoE are being rotated out with the next year, right?
Also Funny and Lucky moments, Devolve special?

MockRock - Smash Bros and More great story there, small fry
MockRock - Smash Bros and More u lookin thru utube profile now LMAO
aint got time for dat if u had a lyfe nigga
get ready for new kripperinos
I made a Reno dragon priest deck, and so far the only deck I have lose to was a paladin with loads of hand buffs, and charge
gferrol118 try running mass dispel
nathan nguyen doesn't really help since they're buffing charge minions. A 11 attack Leroy can't be mass dispelled :P
raynaldo arlen k.eman Ive only been against it once in around 20 games, so I dont think I need to change my deck just to counter them. Also, I like making Reno decks since it makes you play differently than you normally would
Do you guys *know* what is the best thing in this deck? No cards are going into wild with the next rotation.
Norbert Hegyi Holy shit, you're right. That means this Deck's power is always going to be relevant in standard.
+S H I T P O S T Oh, true :)
Seems like if you wanted anti-warrior, removing an Azure Drake in favor of Harrison Jones would have been a better fit
that last devolve... ouch
Makes anti warrior deck, plays no warriors.Never lucky.
That belongs in a museum!
I just used this deck for the first time and won 3 back to back games against dragon priest. Can't wait for the warrior match-up.
That's the story of my deck building life. If you build for playing against zoo, you don't fight zoo. If you build for control you end up getting rushed down. Feelsbadman
he played one
Look around 14:43 - 14:46 when the paladin draw cards with divine favor, one is buging
lol
23:27
that was hilarious
hia last jade golem was a 4 mana 7/7 battle cry deal 4 dmg
devolve actually could get a small niche in the meta. if deathrattles or taunt warrior ever takes off.
I hope all these jade decks won't leave people being jaded
turns out devolve pretty good against deathrattle. playing my deathrattle jade rogue and was pretty sad to watch a couple deathrattles and a raptor get turned into other crap
I'd say running one devolve is good, two seems to be pushing value.
Replace one devolve with white eyes
What thing does he use at the side to show his cards ? Deck helper ?
2:11
I have kidnapped Skipperino Kripperino
WOOHOO!!!
14:40 sup with that card going in and out of that other dudes deck ? x)
speed up the video up to 2x and you won't miss a single word.
you're welcome.
8:12 nice one LUL
23:00 Yeah obvious misplay, didn't hit around taunt.
I think he meant "hit it with the 5 damage choice"
Kripp have you thought about running Brewmasters for increased Jade synergy?
Scary thing is all these agro decks are being played poorly, what happens when people start making perfect plays with these decks? Control RIP.
Double ooze hahah, yeeesssss crush their spirit Kripp.
of course its powerful when you have all the cards
That devolve was not good lol. Trading Aya in and using storm gives you a big board vs a 4/2 or 4/1 and Azure + storm is a 50/50 for lethal.
27:56 i just read new anal improved LMAO
Today i played a game where i was such a fucking idiot that i played brann after the battlecry so to see some high level plays cheers me up
did you see that card spazz out at 14:42 ?
I honestly can't figure out why someone would put Devolve in their deck competitively. It looks really interesting though
What happens if you devolve a 0 drop? Also what happens if you evolve an 10 drop... I don't think there are any 11-cost minions
you just saved the world
that match against the jade druid.. that's what you get for bm-ing. should've just finished it at the devolve.
so what he implies in the Intro... everything Jade is opiopi as hell?
which deck should I make jade rogue or pirate rogue?
Can someone explain the Lightning Storm play to me at 23:36 ? It seemed to me he could've hit the 1/7 with his 7/5 and triggered Anomalus with his 6/4 and have an 8/8 left on the board after.
Haha the 2 devolves !!! lol
lolol this expansion has birthed so many 30 hp concedes it's hilarious
Devolve is a perfect counter....
devolve a 5 mana 5/5 into a 4 MANA 7/7 SUCH AMAZING VALUE :D
