you want to know why i love kripp? only kripp will edit: "six Warlocks in a row" before he has himself tell on stream " this is the seventh warlock in a row. Gotta love that kripp and gotta love kripps dedication to them numbers.
I wasn't directly watching the screen in the final game but the second I heard "We're gonna be rich!" I spat my coffee all over my keyboard. Unbelievable.
Well, the only reason is that warlock had almost no removals at all and got Blastcrystal postion, felfire potion and Abyssal enforcer in one expansion and you get to draft even more of them since they came out in the latatest expansion.
I got dread infernal, kabal courier, abyssal, and a felfire with the 3 drop healer card, farseer, and it was amaaaazing. Had like 2 copies of mistress of mix and a zombie chew. Only went 0/6 because I got kazakus'd in arena, got geddon'd, and got varian'd, but I mean variance
Let me do the math for you guys: Mulligan: 2x(1/29 +1/28+1/27)+1/26 = 0,2529 so the chance of drawing a specific card on your opening hand while going first (in this case zombie chow) is about 25% Now, to calculate how the chances were for kripp to not draw zombie chow in 15 games, we need the statistik formula of poisson ; P(x=k)= µ^k*e^-µ/k! Thats how we calculate the right µ : 0,2529*15 = 3,79 now we use the formula: P(x=0)= 3,79^0*e^-3,79/0! =0,02596 => the chance of not drawing zombie chow is about 2,5% when you always go first, so the real chance is about 2% Thank you now go on with your life
MrEdelnougat the game he said that on though he only had about a 21 percent chance though because he kept a card in hand also i don't know this for sure but if you mulligan a card isn't it impossible to redraw it when drawing again? (Obviously not duplicates though)
I'm probably too late for your statistic exam, but in case I'm not, it's better to practice more your math is way off here. There's no explanation so I have no idea of knowing where you got those numbers. At the very beginning 3 cards in hand, 27 at library. Probability any given card is in hand is 3/(3+27)=1/10, probability that it's in the library is 27/(3+27)=9/10. Iff we don't have that card in our hand we can shuffle our hand back in and draw 4 new cards for our first turn, in that case probability that we draw given card is in hand is 4/(26+4)=4/30 and probability for it being in our library is 26/(26+4)=26/30. So if we want single card from 30 card deck to our hand on turn 1 on the play and we hardmulligan for it, our chances to get it are: 1/10+9/10*4/30=1/10+12/100=0,22
Whoops, I thought you could be able to draw same card you mulligan away. Anyway correction here. Iff we don't draw given card in our initial 3 and mulligan everything our chances to draw given card in the new 3 is 3/27=1/9 and if we don't draw it in those 3 our chances to draw it for our first turn is 1/27 so to put all this together, with hardmulligan our total chances are 1/10+9/10(1/9+8/9*1/27)=1/10+9/10(1/9+8/243)=1/10+9/10(35/243)=1/10+315/2430=558/2430=31/135
Who knew that giving a 130 rated common card to a class that was already decent in Arena would propel them to be the new #1? Blizzard didn't, that's for sure.
You know someone's been driven insane by the arena when he has to justify any less-than-favorable instance with "topdeck [insert taunt/board clear]" or "I've been insanely unlucky/do you realize how insanely lucky my opponent was?" Next it'll be "My opponent didn't auto-concede the game. Never lucky."
Opponent hits his 66% bomber (2 out of 3 targets) - Kripp's reaction: "Damn! Very lucky!". Yeah Kripp, yeah. Of course. It's only not lucky when it goes your way, even when odds are against you.
8:48 - doesn't mulligan aggressively. 8:57 - "Like, I mulligan *really* aggressively." Chances of getting a single card you want is 30C4...1 in 27,400 (doesn't matter if you go first or second, you always get 4 cards from your 30)
What is 30C4? And you mean 1 in 27 right? Whats the 400 for? How does going first or second not matter? you only get 3 cards going first. On turn 1 your odds of drawing a specific card if you run 1 copy is 3.7% going first & 3.85% going second.
Assuming you see 6 cards in every opening hand, you have 20% to draw the Chow each game. Over 14 games it is slightly above 4% chance of not seeing him once. 4% looks like very little, but you play arena a lot. If you played 1 arena every day it would happen about once a month.
Just today, for the 1st time, I noticed how badass warlocks in arena are...and just today Kripp makes a video calling warlocks arena kings... What a coincidence. However, when I tried to play arena warlock I sucked 0/3 WTF
Hey Kripp, could you possibly make a list of cards wich you should play around in Arena for those of us who dont reach these 12 wins ? ;P vote up if you want it too guys
Kripp it's still 7/30 chance to get zombie chow after the mulligan. Yes, it;s unlikely to not get zombie chow 15 games in a row although the odds are still against you getting zombie chow in your starting hand even if it's the first game or the 15th game. The odds don't change from the initial game as the odds don't change like that, it's similar to saying that the slot machine has not payed all day so it's bound to pay soon, it's a fallacy.
So the chance to get any single card in your opening 4 cards is about 14%. (1/30)+(1/29)+(1/28)+(1/27) = 0.140567 That would mean any given game you have 14% to draw 1 card in your deck that isn't a dupe in your first four cards. Meaning that the 86% remaining is the chance you don't draw it within you first 4 cards. So .86 x .86 (a total of 15 times) is 0.104106. So the chance that you don't draw the card in 15 total games is about 10% and the chance that you draw it at least once in 15 total games is about 90%. However .14 x .14 ( a total of 15 times) is .0000000000000217 or about two in one hundred trillion. So the chance that you don't draw any particular card in you first 4 cards 15 games in a row is about 2 in 1 hundred trillion? That can't be correct can it? Did I fuck up?
I think you did. this is what I came up with I think it's correct Mulligan: 2x(1/29 +1/28+1/27)+1/26 = 0,2529 so the chance of drawing a specific card on your opening hand while going first (in this case zombie chow) is about 25% Now, to calculate how the chances were for kripp to not draw zombie chow in 15 games, we need the statistik formula of poisson ; P(x=k)= µ^k*e^-µ/k! Thats how we calculate the right µ : 0,2529*15 = 3,79 now we use the formula: P(x=0)= 3,79^0*e^-3,79/0! =0,02596 => the chance of not drawing zombie chow is about 2,5% when you always go first, so the real chance is about 2%

I personnally think Warrior is the best Arena class because he can build a wall!
I see you've enlarged your hands in your profile pic. That should be beneficial to your business.
Yea , Me ! i am the king of arena , I am everything , I CAN SHIFT TO ANYTHING
Yeh, but you shift into a Wisp at turn 10.
by that you can spend 10 Mana and still play the wisp ! 0 Mana Value PogChamp

This video is interesting but isn't the earth flat ?
what a great idea
if the earth was flat, then why is there hills?
I think it's because a giant platypus ate mushrooms

Got 12 wins as warlock yesterday....
... I had 6 Abyssal enforcers.
Disgusting
Mister Titus That is like having 7 flame strikes.
except you get a 6/6 body instead of an empty board in return
Joseph Nolan i think he was referencing that one time kripp drafted 7 flamestrikes
Or having 8 frost bolts -_-
The New King of Arena: Leper Gnome!!!!!!!
In your dreams.
I'd be the king of Arena if I showed up more often, but it honestly isn't worth my time. I could make MUCH more profit elsewhere.
cant wait for your turn 6 bs heal to come to an end next rotation
Joseph Nolan Why so you can play your aggro deck ?
reno rotates out of standart = Karzakus Raza and the other 2 wich see like 0 play rotate out aswell
gg 1 adventure legendary goes 4 of the newest follow
means handlock will see again like 0 play cause magamgiants aren't worth right now warlock = zoo/demon lock
mage goes tempo or maybe even back to mech and priest hell yeah i can't wait to see a dragon beast priest (of feast)
I'm only leaving because I have dinophobia.
You can profit WITH DA KABAL!
I'd like to be "The king of arena" but when a green dude on a wolf is better than me, I might just keep quiet.
I have more Arena Score than you! But that Wolf-Fucker still has more than me. ;(
14:01 Don't question it. It happened.

I wasn't directly watching the screen in the final game but the second I heard "We're gonna be rich!" I spat my coffee all over my keyboard. Unbelievable.
That chow at the end!
Only kripp can complain about warlocks when he is also a warlock
Well, the only reason is that warlock had almost no removals at all and got Blastcrystal postion, felfire potion and Abyssal enforcer in one expansion and you get to draft even more of them since they came out in the latatest expansion.
no this expansion is the first that they made it equal chance between all.
That last tap Chow was priceless
That draw into Zombie Chow was perfect.
I got dread infernal, kabal courier, abyssal, and a felfire with the 3 drop healer card, farseer, and it was amaaaazing. Had like 2 copies of mistress of mix and a zombie chew. Only went 0/6 because I got kazakus'd in arena, got geddon'd, and got varian'd, but I mean variance
classic kripp video,
lots of game explain and salty,
love it.
That tap into zombie chow at 11-2 was poetic
The IRONY in 25:40 is so sick

Let me do the math for you guys:

=> the chance of not drawing zombie chow is about 2,5% when you always go first, so the real chance is about 2%
Thank you now go on with your life
MrEdelnougat are you Matherino Kripperino?
No i'm a student and have to pass a statistc exam in like 2 weeks so that little kripperino exercise was good practise :)
MrEdelnougat the game he said that on though he only had about a 21 percent chance though because he kept a card in hand also i don't know this for sure but if you mulligan a card isn't it impossible to redraw it when drawing again? (Obviously not duplicates though)

Suicide tapping into that zombie chow was so amazing.
I had a warlock with 3 zombie chows and 8 1 drops total. I went second every time, and never had a 1 drop in my opening hand. 2-3
Who knew that giving a 130 rated common card to a class that was already decent in Arena would propel them to be the new #1? Blizzard didn't, that's for sure.
Kripp, should I re-install HS or wait fir the patch/expansion?
What makes Elven Archer pretty good to keep in your opening hand?
He also keeps Abusive Sergeant in the next game, why?
>accuses of sniping
>enemy plays 2/1 while kripp has elven archer on hand
You know someone's been driven insane by the arena when he has to justify any less-than-favorable instance with "topdeck [insert taunt/board clear]" or "I've been insanely unlucky/do you realize how insanely lucky my opponent was?" Next it'll be "My opponent didn't auto-concede the game. Never lucky."
that zombie chow in the end :,D
Kripp gets answers - skill; opponent gets answers - luck.
Assuming you mulligan aggressively, the odds of not getting zombie chow once in your opening hand is... 5%.
Nice one. :D
That zombie chow at the end of 11/2 xDD
Opponent hits his 66% bomber (2 out of 3 targets) - Kripp's reaction: "Damn! Very lucky!".
Yeah Kripp, yeah. Of course. It's only not lucky when it goes your way, even when odds are against you.
Kripp's face when reno lmfao
Zombie chow, the last card on 11-3 was awsome!!
21:42 Best part!
Can't wait for the fourth installment in this new series of his!
this reminds me of a single run when i played 7 straight warlocks but i was playing a very aggresive hunter deck so i won every game
25:42 Haha, I predicted that draw :D
That awkward moment when 90% of the comments are by users with the kripp in their name
8:48 - doesn't mulligan aggressively.
8:57 - "Like, I mulligan *really* aggressively."
Chances of getting a single card you want is 30C4...1 in 27,400 (doesn't matter if you go first or second, you always get 4 cards from your 30)
What is 30C4? And you mean 1 in 27 right? Whats the 400 for? How does going first or second not matter? you only get 3 cards going first. On turn 1 your odds of drawing a specific card if you run 1 copy is 3.7% going first & 3.85% going second.
I played 6 priests out of 10 games in arena as priest. It was the craziest experience I've had in arena in a while
Dat zombie chow draw at 25:44
Assuming you see 6 cards in every opening hand, you have 20% to draw the Chow each game.
Over 14 games it is slightly above 4% chance of not seeing him once.
4% looks like very little, but you play arena a lot. If you played 1 arena every day it would happen about once a month.
KRIPP HIT US WITH A TRIPLE UPLOAADD
17:00 missed lethal.. i mistr tesař se někdy utne.. aajo on mi tady vlastně nikdo nerozumí Pogchamp
i had a warlcock deck with 4 abyssal enforcers and 3 crystalweaver and 2 implosion pretty good
the thingy With aggressive mulligans was a slight alternative fact
Kripp has a nice haircut in this video. He looks good.
ZombieChowerino Kripperino : Dah!
Axl Maga no respec you have to change your name
35:55 Surprised Kripp!
11:41 Surely you mean "Kazamakus" right?
What addon is used for build arena decks?
'well played' *gets elemental destructioned, wins 50/50* 'you win.... this time'
that is way too funny, doubly so with kripp's reaction
I do like my boars, honestly I had to draft those cards to make reno work and it got me 12 wins.
25:49 i really died lmfao
how fitting 😂😂😂😂
How can Kripp get so lucky every game? RNG saved his ass at least 5 or 6 times in this video
Holy fuck that last Zombie Chow draw
Is Blizzard out to get Kripp?
15:23
> Enemy plays bomb lobber he had in his hand for a turn
> Hits one of the two 5/4 which is 2/3 chance
>"That's very lucky"
youfuckingwhat.jpg
first arena that last zombie chow omg that deliver
Warlock always was good in Arena, only in last patches he earned many cards which helped him to be better.
Just today, for the 1st time, I noticed how badass warlocks in arena are...and just today Kripp makes a video calling warlocks arena kings... What a coincidence. However, when I tried to play arena warlock I sucked 0/3 WTF
Should they add a deck rating so huge decks stop stomping new players in casual mode
when 30 basic vs 30 legendary
Kripparian is so bloody good at arena
I went 6-3 yesterday. 8 warlocks and 1 shaman.
Hey Kripp, could you possibly make a list of cards wich you should play around in Arena for those of us who dont reach these 12 wins ? ;P vote up if you want it too guys
that guy at 11-2 had insane boar control
>complains about warlocks
>plays warlock
k
0:18 Wrong it's 1 in 2,63 times.
9:11 it's 22,2% going first, 27,8% going second.
i died when his last tap was zombie chow
Kripp I seriously bet you are the nicest guy in person.
Warlock as the top is definitely a better situation that Mage. Warlock is incredibly difficult to manage if you aren't good at the game.
13:36 "Never lucky" lol
20:20 Elpresidente is me didnt think he would add me :S hahahaha
So... what started the hilarious shit of Skipperino Kripperino, Cowerino Kripperino etc. ???
the 11-2 warlock game was insanely fucking funny
New hair cut lookin' fresh
I swear, kripp NEVER looses because opponent played better, he just allways looses RNG.
/sarcasm.
So the chance to get any single card in your opening 4 cards is about 14%. (1/30)+(1/29)+(1/28)+(1/27) = 0.140567
That would mean any given game you have 14% to draw 1 card in your deck that isn't a dupe in your first four cards.
I think you did. this is what I came up with I think it's correct
Mulligan: 2x(1/29 +1/28+1/27)+1/26 = 0,2529
so the chance of drawing a specific card on your opening hand while going first (in this case zombie chow) is about 25%
Now, to calculate how the chances were for kripp to not draw zombie chow in 15 games, we need the statistik formula of poisson ; P(x=k)= µ^k*e^-µ/k!
Thats how we calculate the right µ : 0,2529*15 = 3,79
now we use the formula: P(x=0)= 3,79^0*e^-3,79/0! =0,02596
=> the chance of not drawing zombie chow is about 2,5% when you always go first, so the real chance is about 2%
According to Kripp, the top of arena should be teeming with hunters though. Where they at?
Semyon Galtsev Hunter has a lot of variance. They just lose to Priest and Warrior isn't that great of a match up either.
