Hey, just found out about this whole "overland" thing a few days ago. For health reasons, I can't backpack like I used to so I was looking into car camping/off roading and found "overlanding". I'm doing all my reading and watching. Great videos so far. Differential breathers.... who knew.

We have just bought a Camper Trailer VERY similar to yours with a RTT, Foxwing Awning etc, to tow behind our Discovery 4 (LR4), so your setup is VERY similar to what we will be getting (hopefully next week we can pick it up). The rear differential fluid. How often do you need to change it out? As well as the front diff. What are the requirements for maintainencing a 4x4? I bought a 2016 4runner SR5 4x4 not long ago...
Did you have to get upper control arms with the oem lift? I'm thinking of doing bilsteins on all 4 corners with ome front and rear coils soon. 3 inch front 2 inch rear.
Thanks! It's a 2016 Trail with a 3" lift on OME suspension. I have spidertrax spacers, 285/70/17 tires with an Eezi Awn 2.2 meter k9 rack and slee sliders.
Good vlog. Very Casey Neistatish (this is a compliment, Casey does some of the best and most watchable Vlogs on TH-cam). So you have a trail edition, 5th gen. What other mods have you done? You're running BFGs - what size? Looks like you lifted it, how much? I have a stock 2016 TEP, and planning on getting the rear diff breather kit soon.

If you are planning a trip up this way in late fall early winter let me know. Its still to hot out for me to go camping. I like to go once the mosquito season is past. I hope you fared well with Irma passing through over the last few days.,

l catalla it's the K9 rack from Eezi Awn - 2.2 meter. It's awesome! Aluminum, holds up very well! Stand up there to load all the time!
Can you still open the sunroof with the rack on?
