EXACTLY I play video games after my children are in bed. Or after I finish house work for the day. I make every meal for 6 children and my husband and our home is clean. AND we have 2 dogs…I still play video games. The games ain’t the problem it’s him

Im a HUGE gamer. Like over 1000 games on my computer alone. But even I know whats more important. Ive been hunting for a new job for months and usually I only play my games 1-2 hours a day before bed. My house is clean, im fed, applications are filled out, interviews are scheduled and prepared for. Unless you make money from the games, they are a hobby and should be placed on the back burner.

My husband got laid off from his job because of the pandemic and had to go doordash and working at a pizza joint and he felt horrible at first because he wasn’t bringing in the money he use to and it got stressful. We had to lean on each other when we felt down during this difficult time. I just talked to him and reminded him it doesn’t matter what job you have you have it your working helping and still providing. After just giving him a kind reminder we are partners and I’ve grateful no matter what job you have he’s in much better spirt. I’m no marriage counselor but the way my husband and I run our marriage we believe in leaning on each other saying kind works and talking after dinner about our day, goals, etc… being a team, and to communicate. The main thing is to keep family/friends out your marriage because you may forgive but family will remember and it may be hard for them to forgive and let go to where it can cause more problems.

I’m on the game right now as I watch this on my iPad. But I work 6 days a week and pay my own bills. I know when it’s time to get off the game, take a shower & go to bed because I need to get up & go add to the bank account. It’s called “balance”..😊

My dad always told me and my two sisters, " I better not ever see you taking care of a man, and he's not taking care of you". If it hurts him that much to see her working hard, and doing everything else, then he can go out and get some type of employment. May not be what he want, but do something to bring some funds into the household. On the other hand, I also think depression has something to do with it. A lot of people became depressed during the last two years in regards to Covid 19. People lost their jobs, homes, cars, some became homeless, and with all of that going on, you can't help but to be depressed. Some were able to hold on to their jobs, and continue to make a living. Judge Star offered him help, and if he don't take her up on it, then he's just a lazy man. I just don't get the woman complaining about what he won't do, but she's still with him. Sometimes, I think some women like taking care of men, providing a place to live, a car, buying him clothes, and putting money in his pocket. I wasn't brought up that way.

I absolutely agree with Judge neither party has been divorce long enough before starting another serious relationship. Before I got married it was never acceptable to live with any man before marriage. It’s not his fault; she allowed him to move in with her over her kids. I would never pay all the bills in a home with a man living there. She made it her business to add another mouth to feed and give him a place to live. Women have to be accountable for their desperate decisions!

Not exactly. 50/50 is tv stuff. If you can’t pick up the slack when your husband/wife losing their job or gets depressed. You have to sometimes be that 90 to their 10. Marriage isn’t 50/50 I wish ppl stop thinking this. This is why a lot of ppl are either stuck or divorced.

She’s at fault as well….Her mom is correct. She ran out of a marriage & walked into a relationship less than a year during a whole pandemic. Ma’am, PLUS kids are involved. She needed a help & wanted love && ended up in her situation. He’s not horrible he’s just lazy & a bit raggedy. I agree w/Judge Star. He needs to do better for himself & then his family. But for now, no ma’am u can do bad by urself…..He has work to do & he’s not in position right now. She needs to move on. However that doesn’t mean in a relationship.
I was very fortunate to not only keep my job during the pandemic, but to also get paid to stay home for a month. I work in a casino and it got shut down in March of 2020. I work a full-time job, clean the house, do the laundry, go grocery shopping, etc. I have very little time for myself but I don't complain. When you have a family then you have to do whatever is necessary to make sure the bills are paid and there's food to eat.

With all the time he spent at home, he could have started a gaming TH-cam channel. He could have also worked as a shopper/for a delivery service app. He could have used a learning platform to teach himself more about photography or could have developed some other skill.
