Have a SA Professional model that has a few thousand rounds through it and it has no failure of any kind through various types of ammo. I absolutely love it!
I bought this because yes I'm an old guy. After I got it I was having last round feeding issues. I took gun completely apart cleaned everything. It has run great since I have over 1 k rounds through it now well built gun light's out accurate oh yeah great price to.
Tisas got me too. Got me good with their MARSOC Raider “clone”. Imma sucker for the peanut butter and all things that harken back to our beloved Corps. Missed an opportunity to land an original decommissioned USMC blaster. Also got tired of watching the ask go up and up on the Colt Civvie issue - Last time I checked in they were north of $6k. And let’s face it the old Colt magic ain’quite what it used to be. There’s a brand that has sadly lost its way. So for a few scheckles less than $500 I have a well built 1911 that checks almost every box and puts a big ole goofball grin on my face. They really do an amazing job.
I had one, they're only cool for well the cool factor. Outside of that they're not all that great of a gun in terms of 1911 build quality. My Sig 1911 is better built than the M45A1, it most definitely didn't hold a candle to my Les Bear Ultimate Recon.
I picked up a MAC JSOC pistol last fall and I have put about 2200 rounds thru mine with ZERO issues and it shoots very nicely. The one issue that mine had was when I took it out of the box and noticed that the Trigger Overtravel had been set too deep and would not allow the trigger to work so I just had to do a Detail Stripping of the Frame and reset the Trigger Overtravel Screw back about 2 turns so the trigger would release and reset with the take up that I like. The whole action took less than 5 minutes since I am very familiar with the 1911 platform and it was sort of scary that training just took over and I did not even think about what I was doing just did it. I was not too crazy about the Walnut MAC Grips to I put a set of Hogue G10 Piranha grips which gave the pistol a better feel in my hand. I normally go with either Hogue G10 Checkered or Piranha Grips on my pistols.
Great price, great history to the making of this clone, I'm a 1911 snob and this one runs well, just under 400 rds and no issues so far, changed the grips (not a fan of supplied), front brass sight good in bright light in low light they can't be seen, good range gun, collector piece. I have friends that had made inner mods and one is even carrying it as a daily, for the price you can't beat it. Good review.
Just a clarification, but the SDS 1911s are NOT CLONES. They may LOOK just like an original 1911, but the parts do NOT interchange. When I asked SDS about this, they gave the incorrect reply that original 1911s made for the government don't interchange either. This is, of course, incorrect. The government 1911s ALL INTERCHANGE with each other. The government specified this when they made the contracts with the manufacturers. They made need some fine tuning, but they ARE interchangeable. Same with the Beretta M9 pistols.
If you want a clone gun, check out the Operator by Pilot Mountain Arms. PMA is owned and operated by a former Delta SGM and are built as close to Unit specs as possible with currently available parts (some of the original vendors are out of business).
I have the MAC M2 12 gauge and I’m Diggin it….. I also just bought a set of Turkish walnut 1911 grips from SDS/Tisas that are stippled the same as the shotgun ( man- purse matching my boots kinda thing!!!) 😂and I’ll be getting the MAC SOC-1911 on the 26th when my FFL brings it to the gun show for me Can’t wait!!!!
My full rail Springfield operator has a bomar type adjustable night sight rear that’s pushed forward and slightly buried in the slide about 1/8 of an inch or so…. It helps keep the sight from killing my fat-ish roll a little…😬🌮!!!!
I bought one of these last year. It's an awesome gun. SDS Imports has nailed their marketing strategy.
I LOVE my JSOC. It’s been flawless. So far, it’s as good if not better than my Sig Scorpion. Scored mine on GB for $619 plus shipping. 👍🏻

Looks great! I bet some Meusoc grips would tie it together.
I think so!
We had custom Springfields and Colts.
Great video on an excellent 1911!
Thank you very much!
Great gun. MAC is bringing out great stuff! Nice video.

Very nice review. I have a few old Kimber's that came have Kimber/ Bomar type rear sights. Great for target work, no so for carry.
Brass bead < 14 carrot gold sight (Nighthawk VIP)
Tisas cloned at least 3 military 1911s
Where can they be ordered ?
GunBroker or from SDS Imports, maybe even Bud’s Guns. 😊
Battlehawk Armory has the best prices on these that I have seen. Good luck, enjoy!
🇺🇸
Not a cloner, but dang if I want a PSA Mk12 Mod0
Check out the Pri mk 12. I have a video on mine
@@rdrgear that’s honestly not a bad price. I was expecting it to be in the $4K or higher price range
Stopping in for an early thumbs up!
SDS Imports > Tisas USA > Military Armament Corp > Tokarev USA > Inglis > Spandau Arms

What watch you rockin?
An old Japanese Seiko. I forget the model.
Looks like a seiko prospex model
I like the pistol , not liking all the logos.
Agreed
You can replace the grip panels
I just came here to say, we see clone pistols all the time. Not rare at all.
@@hoot1141 I’m not big cloner. But what goes into a clone pistol?
Just like the other 99 percent of brand name guns, not rare at all. Just the name lol. The trueat quality is going to be alchemy
👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸💯💯🔫🔫☕️☕️
