Huh. Just realized, Peppermint has a different "step" sound for her prosthetic and her regular shoe. And impacts on different materials sound different, too.
I guess attention to sound design would be expected for this game!
This game is entirely based on sound and rythem movement kinda the norm but to make it where someone goes the extra mile where everything has a unique sound is truly amazing

I haven’t played the game so I’m a bit confused. Is 808 just a robotic puppet?

@@harry.t9523 it’s both ways, the cat does have sentience, but they can also control 808 and talk through her. But when they aren’t, the cat controls itself and does its own things, which is where it gains sentience.

@@harry.t9523To answer your question, yes and no. Whenever 808 speaks, that’s another character controlling her and using her to talk to Chai (usually Peppermint), but if that isn’t happening, then 808 does whatever she wants, like whenever Chai plays with her

It should also be noted that 808s personality seems to be based off chi’s as she is pretty much on the same page as him though out the game which makes sense based on peppermints reaction to the music arm synchronizing with 808
