The Briarwoods are probably my favorite villians in all of critical role. Who is your favorite bad guy in critical role and what characters story should we break down next?
They are my favorites because you can see why they started their crusade. Delilah wanted to to keep the only person she loved alive. She didn't care what it was, she just wanted him alive. To me that's admirable, breaking the world not out of hate or want of world domination. Just for love.

I haven't seen Campaign 1 yet, C3 is the first series I've been keeping up with and I was so out of the loop with the reveal of Laudna being connected to Delilah and being a body from a hanged tree. I finally feel like I can understand her lore and who exactly Delilah is, thank you again for putting in the effort and time to put this together.
Briarwoods are probably my favorite as well. Raishan needs more backstory with a name like diseased deceiver. I feel like Orthax has a cool origin story, especially if they started out mortal. Quackthulu from the Darryington Brigade is one of the largest cans of worms just sitting out there in the cannon that needs to be addressed hahahaha. Love the videos!
I still love these two as Critical Role villains. They just seem so real to me despite being fictional. I remember another briarwood video out amongst the internet and I made a comment and I swear by it, and that is that I believe that in death, Delilah and Sylas have found each other and plan to return to live their life. Or even now they may be split and are waiting for the right moment to rejoin with each other free from any one’s strings
I wonder how the timeline of the Briarwoods and Trent Ikithon line up? Briarwood’s do the bad thing in Whitestone. Percy fixes it about 10 years later. Time skip to campaign 2, where Caleb had been 15 years ish removed from bad Trent business. Plot. Delilah and Trent were probably on the assembly during the same time.

Campaign 2 takes place 25 years after campaign one.
So they actually would have been good and dead by the time Caleb was going to school.
