Did you not include The Circlet of Barbed Vision on purpose because it was used in ExU quite a bit

We did not see much of myth carver cause Scanlan wasn't a swordsman, he used his bardic magic more than anything.
Also the titan stone knuckles was made from the heart pf the primordial that carried vecna's city in the attack on vasselhiem

For my game, I gave one of the players Myth-carver. Thing is, is that the bard player wasn't in the same college that Scanlan was in, so I had to make adjustments. The awakened state would allow the bard to use their inspiration on another creature, and be affected by it too without stacking. They could use this effect a # of times as their proficiency.
I gave the exalted state a once per long rest group inspiration.
My players seemed to really like it.

Does anyone have their own Ideas for new Vestiges of the Divergence? Please include What it does & in what state it does it (Dormant State - DO, Awakened State - AW, Exalted State - EX)(required), It's name, Physical description, attunement requirements (if any) & who made it in game? So I am running a campaign in Wildemount atm and for this reason I wanted to either give them some of the unused ones or homebrew them and here are some of the ones I made myself:
Plate of the Moonweaver (made it for my Twillight cleric PC)
      Dormant State
      +1 AC
Wearing this armor does not impose disadvantage for stealth checks
When struck by a melee attack, the wearer may cause the attacker to suffer 1d6 radiant damage.
This Feature can be used equal to the characters prof. bonus per long rest.

      Awakened State
      +2 AC
When struck by a melee attack, the wearer may cause the attacker to suffer 2d6 radiant damage.
This Feature can be used equal to the characters prof. bonus per long rest.

      Exalted State
+3 AC Moon's Embrace: Once per long rest you can activate Moon's Embrace. As an action gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage. Lasts 10 min
Name: Skald's Signet (For my sword bard PC)
      Slot: Finger
      Location: Ruins of Shattengrod
Status: An ancient skald from The Age of Arcanum
      Effect:
      Require attunement by a Bard
      Dormant
The total number of bardic inspiration die total goes up by 1.
While wearing this ring you can cast Heroism without expending a spell slot once per long rest.
This effect does not require concentration of the wielder.

      Awakened
The total number of bardic inspiration die total goes up by 2.
Your movement speed increases by 10 ft.

      Exalted
The total number of bardic inspiration die total goes up by 3.
      Distant strikes:
you gain the ability to pass between the planes in the blink of an eye. When you take the Attack action, you can teleport up to 10 feet before each attack to an unoccupied space you can see.
If you attack at least two different creatures with the action, you can make one additional attack with it against a third creature. You can use this feature an amount equal to your charisma modifier

The Sleeves of the Miraculous Magician (working name). Attunement: full caster class. Creator: Corellon.
A pair of arm sleeves encircled with interwoven, interconnecting spell circles leading to the symbol of Corellon.
      Properties.
Bonus to spell Attack Rolls & DC (DO: +1, AW: +2, EX: +3)
Can Enter Enlightened State where any time you roll an Attack Roll to deliver spell damage, the minimum Nat roll to land Critical Hit is reduced by bonus (DO: +1, AW: +2, EX: +3). You enter this state as a Bonus action, requires no action to dismiss, the total time you can use this State per day is equal to the bonus in minutes (DO: 1, AW: 2, EX: 3) & resets at dawn.
(AW) You can choose 1 Concentration Spell you know from either the school of Conjuration, Enchantment, Transmutation or Illusion. Once per Long rest, after touching both sleeves together as part of a somatic Spell Component, you cast this spell without using a Spell Slot & does not interfere with casting other Concentration Spell (separate Concentration Saves). The level the spell is cast at is equal to your Proficiency. You can change the chosen spell when you level up. (EX) You can choose another spell that is not the same School to gain these benefits. Each Sleeve stores a spell & the somatic component changes to touching the sleeve which spell was cast with your other hand. You can also change which spell is stored once per crescent moon (waxing for left hand, waning for right).
(EX) When you enter the Enlighten state, you gain a feature of a class that is 1 level higher than your current level in the class. The feature cannot be improvements to spell slot, ability score improvements or feats.

      Heart of Homestead:
Ring, legendary (requires attunement by a lawful or neutral aligned creature )
This platinum wedding band, embedded with a number of fine rubies and interlaced with a golden quatrefoil pattern, is said to have been blessed by Erathis, the Lawbearer as a gift for one of her archpriests to use in the union of her and the high-priestess of Melora, the Wildmother before the calamity.
Dormant. While wearing the ring in its dormant state, you gain the following benefits:
You can cast the tiny hut and goodberry spells at will.
As a ritual, you can cast the wedding rite of the ceremony spell requiring no material components. This property can't be used again until the next dawn.
At the end of a long rest, you can choose one creature that you know the name of, that creature has advantage on all death saving throws until the end of your next long rest.
Awakened. While wearing the ring in its awakened state, you gain the following benefits:
You can cast the private sanctum at will.
When a creature within 15ft of you regains hit points, treat any 1 rolled on a die to regain hit points as a 2.
Exalted. While wearing the ring in its exalted state, you gain the following benefits:
You can cast the magnificent mansion spell once per long rest.
As a reaction when a creature would take damage within 30ft of you, it gains immunity to that damage type until the end of the turn. This property can't be used again until next dawn.
When a creature within 15ft of you regains hit points, treat any 1 or 2 rolled on a die to regain hit points as a 3.

Spire of Conflux seems like a staff that my first Munchkin character would love...
Not much of a DnD 5e guy, but I have a Pathfinder character that... I actually like a lot. Was a Half-Orc born from the relationship between an Orc Shaman Warlord of Sezelrian and a Human Cleric of Saranrae. After leaving the orc tribe, she gave birth to her son and decided to raise him despite protest from the other church members, as she believed that the child should be free from the sins of their parents. He grew up in contact with both parents and has a strong affinity towards Fire based magic due to the ties his parents have with their respective fire deities.
Mechanically, he is a Orc/Solar crossblood Sorcerer, and his signature spell was Fireball. Orc and Solar stacked and gave him +2 Damage per dice of damage to his Fire Spells (+1 to any non-Fire Spell via Orc Bloodline since it doesn't specify). Blood Havoc sacrifices his Level 7 bonus feat for another +1 Damage per dice. Half-Orc FCB also gives +1/2 damage per level to Fire spells. Fire Trick: Fireball allows you to modify fireball in specific ways, Clusterbomb spreading the damage out to separate 10ft radius 2d6 Fireballs per 2 Caster Levels, Condensed decreasing the size by a 5ft radius to gain +1d6 damage, Metamagic Widen doubles the range increments of the spell - meaning at level 7 he was able to shoot five (He was caster level 10 when casting Fireball) 5ft radius 5d6+19 Fire Damage balls. Later on, I forgot how, he was able to convert half the damage to either Radiant or Necrotic

Loved the video, i have a question though: in campaign 1, did we see when the weapons became awakened or exalted? I remember a few (like Vax when he got the wings), but some of the other characters (I'm thinking Pike in particular, with coming back to life after going unconscious) didn't get an "awakened" or "exalted" moment, but still got the benefits of of those states
    Anyway, I'm asking because I don't remember

    • @mayaenglish5424
      @mayaenglish5424 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I remember Matt saying that the weapons stayed Exalted for a while then reverted back to previous states when not in use so I think they got some of the Vestiges in various states of "Awakened" or "Exalted" depending on how recently historically they had been used to their full potential. Something like that. So some of them were already awakened and some of them were already Exalted and some of them you had to start from scratch because they had been untouched for so long they had reverted back to a dormant state.
(Honestly I think Pike in particular was a good reason for that because of Ashley not being there as much so she wouldn't have had as much time to get a "Moment" with the armor as say Vax did to unlock the wings or Scanlan with the sword and I think Vex's Bow but some of the others were also found Exalted as well, like I'm pretty sure the Spire of conflux was, I don't remember, It's been a minute.)

      @@carlotaperes1031 Your welcome 😄,
I think Grog got an Exalted moment too with the Cool monk that followed Kord in the trial forge in Vasselheim, I just remembered. I can't remember his real name because Travis kept calling him Master Splinter lol. There was something after the fight with lightning being called down. I have to rewatch it, I just remember it was cool.
Yeah, my vague memory is that The Twins, Scanlan and Grog Exalted their weapons, I think Vax might be the only on who had to do the whole process, just because he had it the longest so it would be easier logistically (and thematically the duskwalkers ward was locked away since the Calamity so it makes sense it would have gone dormant, Matt really plans this stuff out lol). But the others could totally have had "awakened" moments I'm forgetting that came before the "Exalted" final form moments.
Whereas I'm pretty sure Pike, Percy and Keyleth's vestiges came pre-Exalted. Which Honestly makes sense for Percy's in particular as it had just recently been in use and active in the world for a while.
I'm not 100% on that but that's my vague memory. I'm sure there's an extensive and very nerdy wiki we could check to see if this is at all accurate lol.
