I painted mine like an undershirt grey, like you would typically see troops in the field wearing underneath their uniforms, if you know what I mean. Repentia are absolutely bloody vicious in a Bloody Rose force, good choice adding them in.
@@ThePaintingCoach okay brilliant thank you. Only asked as the darker skin toned model highlights seems to be a bit brighter than yours 😅 liked and subbed! Cheers
Awesome video but just a couple questions. What's your opinion on Kislev Flesh as a skin tone and would the methods you use to paint the skin of repentia be sufficient if I painted to face of the normal sororitas?
Great video as always! I just started my Repentia and I can always hear you in my head saying "take your time" :) When you're highlighting, how much do you thin the layer paints, if at all? Do you start with a decent amount of water in the brush or a dryer brush? I can't seem to get consistency with my highlights (edge and otherwise).
Thanks for the comment Dave! And apologies for getting in your head haha! I water them down a little - i use a wet palette and probably mix about 2:1 paint:water. I try to start with a damp brush - so I'll clean it off and wipe it in kitchen paper before going back to the paint - I hope that helps!
Love the painting videos - some of the clearest ones out there. Thanks!
Thanks Andrew - I really appreciate it!
Great video! I'm going to try these techniques on my Repentia who are on the painting table as I type!
Awesome Paul - I hope it helps! Thanka for leaving a comment!
I've being thinking about adding some repentia to my order of the bloody rose army. But I'm not sure what to paint their body suit. Any suggestions?
You could go with black like here, or maybe go for a darker red with a Khorne red base maybe? Or a mix of the two

Yeah I know what you mean colour wise - good idea!
Hi there,
Great video and very helpful! I'm wondering however, after you did the highlights, did you add the shade again to them?
Thanks in advance
☺️
Thanks - no once highlights are done no more shades
