Totally agree with the most frustrating part of each characters doing stuff in brand with them, being right on their execution but ultimately making things worst. At 15:00 the doctor (Singed) talks about crafting a serum in order to make Vander lose his reason in the tent (we see the orange glow of the serum), 19:00 Singed was left in the place where at 22:00 we would see Vander come out as out of control from and he is glowing in the same color as the one Singed made in the tent. I think while everyone was knocked out cold by Jayce ripping a new hole into Viktor the doctor did something to Vander.
my guess was that since vander was connected to victor to some degree like the othere people in the commune vander died with victor and so only the beast was left
@@BW_Zoey I don't think Vander died when Viktor did, because why would the "beast" look so sorrowful at Vi and Jinx once he steps out of the building? The beast wouldn't care that much. And Vander wasn't fully healed like the others yet. Viktor wasn't finished. Viktor's death reverted the process they had done so far, which pushed Vander's control further back. The lava blood (that totally looked like the same color in Singed' machine tool) that dripped out of Vander started to burn him alive from the inside, so I think that Vander "gave up the fight" and let the beast surge to the forefront because the pain became too much and too unbearable. You can even see how he tries to blink at first, but it only pains him more, so more tears come etc.
Isha means "One who protects." This show knows exactly what it's doing. I was screaming NOOOOOOOO at the screen mainly at first because the thought of them losing Vander yet again...and then losing Isha... ugh. This show has no right being this good. Why can't Hollywood give us writing that's even 1/4 this good?!
Studio execs would meddle with the writing "Put more jokes in! Sexualize Jinx, she's how old? Ahh just do it anyways, make Ekko say BOOYAH! like that yeah, BOOYAH!"
Not only do I think Viktor will be back but I think this is the start of his villain turn...its all in his speech about the duality of man, how does one save man from himself? Take away choice.
"From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine. Your kind cling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved. For the Machine is Immortal."

Vi's visual breath of relief when she saw the plan went well, that Jinx and Vander and both ok😭it shattered my heart that they can't just all have their happy moment
After watching the end scene several times, I have this feeling that Isha knows neither Vi nor Jinx could have done it to Vander because he is their father. So she decided she would do it for Jinx to keep her alive. And that makes the scene more heartbroken especially while Isha looked so calm and determined even in her last moment. I am not ok :(
Im almost wondering if Vander asked her to. I think he knew he was losing to the wolf and he knew his daughters had already gone through his death and didn't want to make them kill him.

I heard half of it and knew it was going to be used in a hear wrenching spot. Oh god, when she does the finger gun. 😢 💔 so far, you guys have my favorite reactions to season 2.
I don't know if anyone else noticed, but I think Viktor saw his own death in the beginning of this episode. The scenario is exactly the same, the blown up roof, the rolling coin gear thingy.. Viktor says "I understand now" at the beginning scene and the narration at the end feels like it's continued from that sentence. also in between the scenes Viktor oddly interaction with that coin on couple scenes... Viktor might have known what would happen at the end.
Much like Jesus who died for the sins of man. Viktor died willingly to realize that man's greatest sin are his emotions. Because like he said emotions inspires man to do good, but also is the cause of man's greatest evil. On the third act Viktor will rise again to rid humanity of all their emotions en route to their glorious evolution.
That would explain why they allowed Jayce to come with his hammer when all weapons were forbidden - even though Viktor just saw him murdering Salo a few hours ago!
@@ChubbyChonccJayce is not an anti hero. He's a pawn. He has always been a pawn. Hes too weak willed to think for himself so he is CONSTANTLY being manipulated. Silco was a waaaaaaaaaay more complex character than Jayce will ever be.
Victor has really come a long way since he merged with the Rune Matrix, plus him trying to restore what remained of Vander made this episode more enjoyable, plus hearing Warwick/Vander talk gave me chills
“They’re all working separately and that always comes together to make things worse” is a really solid encapsulation of the shows main idea. If we’re two sides of the same coin there can be no independent action-just like there can be no victory thru destruction
Don't forget the Hexcore is sentient and has a conscious of its own, Sky is just a catalyst for Viktor to manipulate and deceive him into thinking he's doing the right thing with Arcane, not realizing he's ultimately destroying humanity using the hexcore, that's what Jayce realized, it's a curse that needs to be destroyed.
Her being solely a manipulation of the Hexcore is just an interpretation though - I personally see Sky as embodying his guilt, his last remnants of humanity too...I assume he won't see her again in the future.
No, Jayce ruined everything because his actions have now officially turned Viktor into a villain. It literally would have been fine if Jayce didn't prove humanity's weakness to Viktor and betrayed him.
So essentially what Viktor is saying is....humanity in and of ourselves....is a paradox. I never thought of it like that. And suddenly it all makes sense.
@egyagasta5063 the ELI5 version of his monologue is "the road to hell is often paved with good intentions." We try to do good. But more often than not hindsight is only 2020. The reason why we have those insufferable lids on medicine bottles? The Chicago Tylenol case. We have the longest era of peacetime in human history.... only cause of the threat of mutually assured destruction hanging over our heads. New technology made our lives easier but we're now losing physical media more and more. Washington gave up his position of power in the name of democracy. But that means Americans can select someone way under qualified for the job. Two sides of the same coin.
@@egyagasta5063 he says it at the end. humanity is our capacity for love and care for something other than ourselves. but at that the same time, that love and care is the thing that makes us do unspeakable things (ie. singed with his daughter, jinx/vi with each other, caitlyn going dictator mode after her mother dies, ambessa loving her family and doing whatever to keep power to protect them, etc).

Isha looks directly at the audience there, breaking the fourth wall: "Got you, suckers! You really thought this is going to last?" Also rewind to the Jayce's visions, the strange figures he sees there, for a fraction of seconds. These might be his new masters.

DON'T BLAME JAYCE! It was the doctor who caused Warwick to freakout not Jayce killing Viktor! We left The unconscious doctor and warwick in the room together alone. Warwick busts out, insides turning to lava. Viktor never changed his physiology yet so why would that happen? Because the Doctor succeeded in Giving him the serum he worked on to undo Viktor's work. You can see the Doctor standing in the room where he and warwick were just waiting. Who knows how quickly he got up, or maybe he was never unconscious. This guy has meticulously done and planned everything he does. Remember he ASKED to go in the first time. I think currently everything is playing to his tune. I don't think he set up all the pieces, but now that he's playing he's more in control than it seems.

Victors story really reminded me of the movie Transendence since I finished watching 2x3 of arcane I get the feeling it will lead to that and I am right. They will fear him even tho he wanted only to do good because it look unatural and hard to understand. Also the part where sky and victor are together just like the ending of Trancedence.
The Hexcore consumed sky. It was probably doing the same to the ppl but slowly. The hexcore just has Vik attached to it now but Jayce had to destroy it “I won’t fail” also those metal pieces on the ppl were probably just replacement parts for what it’s consumed, they have the same pattern that sky had when she was killed.
The circle of metal that Viktor is holding was a reference from a scene in season 1 where him and Jayce were holding when they were like flying in the room with the hextech..😢😢
What I find very interesting is Singed/TheDr's character. He will do what ever it takes to fulfill his goal. But is willing to find better ways to do that. He still has sympathy for the undercity, shown through how he spoke of Vander last episode, and how he stepped in to speak to Viktor in an attempt to prevent them being slaughtered.
Everyone will be their worst selves in the last 3 episodes I am scared to see how jinx, viktor and warwick (no longer vander) will act, they will be complete monsters
Jayce will finally get his spotlight lol. He's always been the hero, the "Defender of Tomorrow", but for some reason, they really loved to make him the bad guy and have everybody hate him, despite Ambessa being the mastermind that led to this, despite Jinx fucking up everything in season 1, despite Caitlyn allowing Piltover to become a police state, despite Singed being the creator of shimmer and creating the monster Vander became lol. Somehow Jayce is the universally hated character despite having always done what he thought was the right thing.

Even Vi holding Jinx back at the end has symmetry with Marcus "saving" Vi in Season 1 episode 3 by chloroforming her and leaving Jinx to her messed up fate - understandable because she wants to save her sister this time but still....😭
The scene of Viktor helping Vander by going deep into his mind and finding his memories of all of his loved ones just makes me cry. Like a true visualization of EMDR therapy. As someone whose life was literally saved with therapy it brought back memories of when my last therapist helped me through my past traumas.

Isha actually cries out "mama" when reaching out for Jinx when Savika is rescuing her from the prison. Its barely audible over the music, but it is audible. The coin that Viktor had was the gear that passed through the hextech in season 1 episode 3 when Viktor and Jayce are floating. We see Viktor snatch it out of the air. It feels like it is a representation of their partnership.
jinx in season 2 earlier says “it’s always me. whether i’m pulling a pin or not, everyone who gets close to me dies,” and it’s exactly what happened. she didn’t pull the pin this time but isha does end up dying (i hope not, by some miracle😭) the writing of this show is gonna be the end of me

@@BW_Zoey😭😭😭😭it’s so devastating
@@BW_ZoeyYeah it seems like a bit of both
@@BW_Zoey I don't think Vander died when Viktor did, because why would the "beast" look so sorrowful at Vi and Jinx once he steps out of the building? The beast wouldn't care that much. And Vander wasn't fully healed like the others yet. Viktor wasn't finished. Viktor's death reverted the process they had done so far, which pushed Vander's control further back.
The lava blood (that totally looked like the same color in Singed' machine tool) that dripped out of Vander started to burn him alive from the inside, so I think that Vander "gave up the fight" and let the beast surge to the forefront because the pain became too much and too unbearable. You can even see how he tries to blink at first, but it only pains him more, so more tears come etc.
@@paracetamol725and now we get firefang warwick
Ambessa mentioned sacrifice in her teaching with Caitlyn
A slight foreshadowing about Isha
😭😭😭😭😭😭
Arcane episodes are feeling good and warm
Riot: oh! let me fix that
Isha means "One who protects." This show knows exactly what it's doing.
Take away choice.
take out humanity let's go full metal
"From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me.
I craved the strength and certainty of steel.
I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine.
Your kind cling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither and you will beg my kind to save you.
But I am already saved. For the Machine is Immortal."
the sad part is he said to jayce "there's always a choice" when he was deactivating jinx's bomb in s1
@@GretaHenrici-d8oYeah. And Jayce made his choice. Viktor would have been fine if Jayce didn't betray him.
@@transientanus jayce was being posses!!! Why everione miss that?
Translation of the lyrics of the ending song
Child don't be afraid of the thorns with your barefoot
You can find the essence of the world
You see the sky is turning grey how stunning the firework was
Don't feel panic don't feel sad
We are all slaves of nature blossom and withered
Yet even stubborn rocks and barriers bloom with flowers
Push aside the mountains let her sees me
Tell those stars to shine on me faster
Blow away the dark clouds with that blue in my heart
Even if the world is full of desolation
We can lift our heads up and see the moon
When we are still in the guise of children
As one among millions still must blossom into a solitary and splendid flower
Don't wander in troubles anymore
Don't forget
Even if the tears flow keep running forward
Run until even time cannot be found
Be a carefree flying bird
Push aside the mountains let her sees me
Tell those stars to shine on me faster
Blow away the dark clouds with that blue in my heart
Even if the world is full of desolation
We can lift our heads up and see the moon
When we are still in the guise of children
As one among millions still must blossom into a solitary and splendid flower
Don't wander in troubles anymore
Don't forget
Even if the tears flow keep running forward
Run until even time cannot be found
Be a carefree flying bird
Stop searching
Give me a hug
Just quietly forget
I'm fine the way I am
A huge League player here. And fan of the show. They released a few songs before the show came out. And this was one of them. I heard half of it and knew it was going to be used in a hear wrenching spot. Oh god, when she does the finger gun. 😢 💔 so far, you guys have my favorite reactions to season 2.
You guys are literally my favorite arcane reactors this time around. So gooddd
That would explain why they allowed Jayce to come with his hammer when all weapons were forbidden - even though Viktor just saw him murdering Salo a few hours ago!
yeah he didn't do anything to stop jayce, try to talk to him or defend himself, they both know something
Yeah and no one stopped jayce from bringing his hammer into the place and victor didnt even try to defend himself when he saw jayce
Alsó a callback: do you contemplate death professor? Hé contemplated it the whole episode.
"Maybe she's okay...?" Thank you, I needed that laugh through all my sobbing 😂😭
Misery: Hey, you missed me? 👻
Misery be like: I want to be everybody's enemy 🤣
oh the misery
“I hate when snacks are interrupted” LMAO what an oddly specific irk
It’s crazy how children often die horrifically in Arcane😭
I actually do like that the show doesn't pull punches no matter who you are.
And somehow Jayce always has something to do with it lol
@@believeume122 unless they are playable characters
@@petergulyas3218Silco ain't got shit on Jayce, he's the real antagonist/anti-hero lol.
@@ChubbyChonccJayce is not an anti hero. He's a pawn. He has always been a pawn. Hes too weak willed to think for himself so he is CONSTANTLY being manipulated. Silco was a waaaaaaaaaay more complex character than Jayce will ever be.
I'm not ashamed to say this is my 4th time watching you guys react to episode 6
same!!
I watch it before, I am over it, i am a 45 old cranky man.
Cries like a kid with your reaction, you multiply the feelings I don't know how.
Watched all of Act 2 and my heart still aches afterwards. Act 2 will heal you up and then break you down again. R.I.P. Isha and Vander 😭
That smile in "Glorious Evolution" hehe
28:04 such a wholesome expression of emotion, same effect on me trying to talk about the episode with my girlfriend after watching
Victor has really come a long way since he merged with the Rune Matrix, plus him trying to restore what remained of Vander made this episode more enjoyable, plus hearing Warwick/Vander talk gave me chills
It also hits harder knowing that Isha's song is called 这样很好 (Zheyang hen hao) which means "It's good like this".
This is my best reaction channel! Thank you guys for your insights and your emotions.
Ohhhh he said the thing *GLORIOUS* *EVOLUTION*
“They’re all working separately and that always comes together to make things worse” is a really solid encapsulation of the shows main idea. If we’re two sides of the same coin there can be no independent action-just like there can be no victory thru destruction
"Unfortunately we got 3 more episodes to find out how that doesn't go well" Man that cracked me up 😂😭
Poor Isha and poor Jinx, just when things started to look up just a little bit for her
Arcane's original working title was Emotional Damage: The Series.
Jinx: Ohhhh the Misery
Everybody wants to be
My enemy
Your reactions at the end is exactly what went on in my head when I watched the episode 😭
I felt Michael’s rant with my whole chest 😭😭
Jinx: has a glimmer of hope and happiness in her life
Arcane: not today satan
Don't forget the Hexcore is sentient and has a conscious of its own, Sky is just a catalyst for Viktor to manipulate and deceive him into thinking he's doing the right thing with Arcane, not realizing he's ultimately destroying humanity using the hexcore, that's what Jayce realized, it's a curse that needs to be destroyed.
Everything it touches dies, all from plants to living things, also spreading its corruption to the tree in the undercity.
I'm so happy there are people who don't just hate Jayce because they can only see the surface.
Her being solely a manipulation of the Hexcore is just an interpretation though - I personally see Sky as embodying his guilt, his last remnants of humanity too...I assume he won't see her again in the future.
THAT WAS MY THOUGHT AS SOON AS HE HEALED THAT FIRST GUY AND SKY HAD HER HAND ON HIS SHOULDER.
I WAS LIKE "THAT'S NOT SKY, I KNOW IT!!"
😵💫😵💫😵💫
No, Jayce ruined everything because his actions have now officially turned Viktor into a villain. It literally would have been fine if Jayce didn't prove humanity's weakness to Viktor and betrayed him.
Ella Purnell to Christian "What is wrong with you why did you wrote that " was the best question i need for this year !
So essentially what Viktor is saying is....humanity in and of ourselves....is a paradox. I never thought of it like that. And suddenly it all makes sense.
Can you explain it to me? i don't get it..
@@GretaHenrici-d8o^ This.
This is the first time in my life where 3 episodes in a row of any show left me so shocked that I had my hands to my face in utter disbelief. Not even GOT or Breaking Bad made me do that 3 times in a row

Same.
"Glorious Evolution" He said the thing!
12:46 HE SAID THE THING
Final glorious evolution yes of course
You can see Isha's tear when she was running and then her peaceful smile when she pulled the trigger. She know exactly what would happen and feel satisfied that she could help. It's just so... I'm speechless... damn
Here comes the pain again 😭😭😭
arcane: don't forget we're a tragedy 😊
the worst part is vander wasnt gone.. he was aware of everything that was about to happen. thats why you see the streaks of lava down his face.. he cried knowing he was powerless. so sad.
It was clearly foreshadowed. You get close to Jinx and they die.
Jinx said so herself before Smeech fought Sevika.
next is Vi
@@eedveOne can only hope they kill off that trash character. It would pay her back for being a war criminal and poisoning civilians.
@@transientanus no way u are that delusional, and have such a distorted view of a character. Besides she didn't kill anyone and didn't use the gas indiscriminately, the gas was used in others military forces to disperse. Many others characters have done way worse shit like Jinx and Silco, not that Vi have done something to be hated, the opposite actually

Isha looks directly at the audience there, breaking the fourth wall: "Got you, suckers! You really thought this is going to last?" Also rewind to the Jayce's visions, the strange figures he sees there, for a fraction of seconds. These might be his new masters.
I find it so interesting that Ambessa’s right hand spear man hesitated to kill Jinx. He was still definitely going to do it, but he still felt some guilt for having to kill someone so young.
I've been complaining about the pacing of this season BUT MAN OH MAN, Does this season have the best scenes EVER. Best episode of the whole arcane series; S2 Act 2 *chef's kiss* 😙🤌. When it hits you, IT HITS YOU 😭
Maybe they did that on purpose to deliver this masterpiece of an episode
You need to be patient, can't expect each episode to be action packed
I don't think he set up all the pieces, but now that he's playing he's more in control than it seems.
hello arcane enjoyers. Good catch on isha taking the hextech from the gauntlet, didn't notice it
The Machine Herald is ready for THE GLORIOUS EVOLUTION!!! But man they do really know how to make us attach to someone and kill that character, it's like Peter Parker all over again, Jinx can't take a mental health break.
25:17 Jabby: Oh man ! whatsup?
After he tried camouflaging wiping his tears as well💀🤣
I thought it would be impossible for them to recreate the heart of season 1…boy was I wrong. This episode broke me. No words 😢
Oh man this one hurt. I was looking away when Isha started running and be like "No. Not again. I don't like where this is going. Make it stop"
every time i watch a reaction it makes me cry again and again but i still do it... its like when i see others feel as i feel , kinda gets it easier that am not alone in this .... RIP Isha ♥ little brave girl ♥
she was me every time i watch it. i still can't stop crying.
*At least we experienced those beautiful moments*
The Hexcore consumed sky. It was probably doing the same to the ppl but slowly. The hexcore just has Vik attached to it now but Jayce had to destroy it “I won’t fail” also those metal pieces on the ppl were probably just replacement parts for what it’s consumed, they have the same pattern that sky had when she was killed.
The circle of metal that Viktor is holding was a reference from a scene in season 1 where him and Jayce were holding when they were like flying in the room with the hextech..😢😢
“We are Broken, we have tried, we want peace and happiness but the world just won’t allow it.”
-Norman Bates
I love this trio please continue reacting together!!!!!
Everyone will be their worst selves in the last 3 episodes
I am scared to see how jinx, viktor and warwick (no longer vander) will act, they will be complete monsters
An absolute masterpiece of viewing.
First Dan Da Dan episode 7 and now this… this week just wants all the tears! 😭
By far, This Video react & the WandaVision reactions are your best reactions guys, in my opinion.
I LOVE how raw & real you guys react & state what you guys really feel. Keep it up. Love you guys 💙❤️
Even Vi holding Jinx back at the end has symmetry with Marcus "saving" Vi in Season 1 episode 3 by chloroforming her and leaving Jinx to her messed up fate - understandable because she wants to save her sister this time but still....😭
you three are the best people to watch this 😭😭😭
can't wait to delve more in the next iteration of Netflix League of Legends
The scene of Viktor helping Vander by going deep into his mind and finding his memories of all of his loved ones just makes me cry. Like a true visualization of EMDR therapy. As someone whose life was literally saved with therapy it brought back memories of when my last therapist helped me through my past traumas.
Arcane league of legends summed up with one meme “EMOTIONAL DAMAGE”
That girl on the left makes me cry everytime ! Shes so adorable and so heartfelt with her reaction I just want to hug her and say it is ok.
Welp im crying weeks later still
The full molten lava version of Warwick isn’t because Viktor got shot by Jayce, but because Singed successfully carried out his plan 23:01
And in this way The Glorious Evolution begins.
My fav people of reacting
Sadness apart, i love y'all's reactions bc you three catch details so well i feel like im watching an analysis, amazing!!!
jinx in season 2 earlier says “it’s always me. whether i’m pulling a pin or not, everyone who gets close to me dies,” and it’s exactly what happened. she didn’t pull the pin this time but isha does end up dying (i hope not, by some miracle😭) the writing of this show is gonna be the end of me
This last scene is obviously referring to the second scene of this episode, when Ambessa teaches some combat principles to Caitlyn :
"Ive discovered a fourth principle, one that heigtens all others: Sacrifice, the temper born of suffering"
