I feel like they somehow forgot what happened to Jinx, because in the ep 1 or 2 reaction they said something about Jinx being able to survive pretty much anything, just like she did on the bridge when she survived the grenade. But she literally didn’t survive that lol. The only reason she did survive is because Silco brought her to Singed, who then of course did the operation on her and added shimmer to her permanently. She didn’t just survive it on her own, she was saved with the shimmer operation. Which is also why she has the pink eyes and is able to move quicker than normal people. But i guess these guys forgot about that part?

They updated Warwick's lore I think, because as of like right before Arcane dropped, they don't mention Vander by name but the story for Warwick is pretty much Vander. So it is both Vander and Warwick. Already binged all of Act 2. Fortiche deserves a raise and Riot needs to get that MMO out because i want to burn all of my free time in wandering Runeterra. Christian Linke also deserves a raise but he and his team are destroying my little heart.

To put more context on how people knew Vander was Warwick so many years ago before this reveal, in the League of Legends game, Warwick got a whole visual update and lore retcon and Singed became part of Warwicks lore. Also ingame, Warwick got voiced dialog specifically aimed and Vi and Jinx which was strange because Warwick, before his visual update, had nothing to do with those two characters but he had like two meaningful lines with the both of them that were vague as hell being "You were there" to Jinx and "Who taught you how to punch?" to Vi, this Warwick update was SEVEN YEARS AGO (2017). So when Arcane came out in 2021, people pieced together that Warwick and Vander are the same guy based off those vague voice lines as a hardcore theory that wasn't never officially confirmed ... until NOW.
There's a season 1 episode where Vi touching her triggers this trauma - it's their reunion and she says something along the lines of 'I'm not going to abandon you again' and perhaps that reminds her of the last physical encounter before that when she punched her. Perhaps she always felt like Vi's affection was an obligatory front, she wanted her to be a certain way and she let her down, she was a screw-up. Anyway, I think the scene where the jinxers touch her to me felt like an allusion to that earlier trauma and her accepting their touch, and her getting over that self-doubt, that hurt.
22:00 this part is what I love the most about how this show plays with its characters. Like, yeah Jinx is The Bad Guy to Piltover and we see her shown that way a lot, but then this episode happens and we really see her from the Zaunites' POV like she IS this larger than life symbol of rebellion, this looming icon of We Deserve Better, and it helps really tie everything together that we've seen for Zaun before. And she's become a far more potent symbol than Silco ever was. That being said, I may also just be kinda biased towards seeing Jinx as a broken person capable of so much incredible good, who just but needs SOMEONE to fucking believe in her and help her and support her because I'm a bit broken myself...
Actually the way how people were motivated & how they now trying to look like her ,especially with the blue hair ,reminds me of V's followers from "V for Vendetta" movie & the sons of batman zealots from Batman the dark knight returns 2-part movie.

This rewriting of Warwick lore is amazing. League players already knew that Vander was WW. It was too obvious. But I think the best part of it (this is theory) is that we didn’t get true WW YET. This looks like more half step into getting full Warwick. A Vander-Warwick hybrid. Which makes his lore so much more tragic.

The Start of Season 2 Act 2: The Escalation, 4-6 Months later we get to see just how well things has gone since Marshal-law and just like with Act 2 of Season 1 we catch up with Jinx and Caitlyn first before Vi, with Jinx pretty much being in the role of the Protagonist now, at least for this Act, But now, everything is going to get so much wilder, you’re not ready.

the entire time Cait is talking about everything "not being what she thought", or "going on as long as it has", Maddie thinks she is talking about Ambessa and the Noxians....when Cait is actually talking about her.
After seeing this scene multiple times my theory is that Ambessa knew that was Jinx whether it be as soon as she saw her or shortly after while they waited for the tram. But she never acted on it personally. Even if the group of soldiers who rushed in right before WW attacked in the cells was sent by her you would think that if Ambessa really wanted Jinx gone at that time she would go personally. I think she still had use of Jinx to further her grasp on Cait so she mightve sent a half assed squad not really caring whether or not they captured her or she got away.
[Accepting her] At season one when Jinx ask Vi to choose who she wants. Personally, that’s her chance to accept her as she is. Not cling on to the past or try to force her to change back. Vi could say to her she choose Jinx and get to know her more. That alone should at least make Jinx pause for a moment. Because she’s expecting the typical rejection. If Vi really believes in getting back together as sisters / friends. She can do that without needing Jinx to be powder again. [Vi - Powder / Jinx - Isha] With Silco gone, the council hall blown up & Vi on a different path. Jinx is being left almost without a purpose. When Isha was first introduced, the very beginning she's being chased and fell into Jinx's life. I'm totally hoping she'll give Jinx a new purpose and as everyone puts it, let her experience Vi's point of view. Also someone who accepts her as she is, hence allowing her to move on and not seek acceptance or approval while keep getting rejected. [The Bar Scene] Next episode... not going say any spoilers I could swear i dreamt that scene before years ago, lol I keep getting de'javus from new shows... Clueless what is going on, as always in dreams. A familiar face that was meant to be someone else. Opposing sides peacefully together... I know i definitely seen that before. 🙇♀
Caitlyn is already considering a way out, taking Maddie's advice into account. She’s torn between her personal hatred for Jinx what is truly good for the city and the fear of the repercussions of not complying with Ambessa. In a way, she’s in a similar position to Marcus if you think about that parallel.
To Michael: If I remember correctly, it was never said that Vi an Jinx were sisters before the show. So I just assumed it was another one of those things, that Vander became Warwick. I’m saying this because they are two characters in the game, but maybe the two characters is just a before and after. Also, watching the sneak peak for act 2, like Achara, I too theorized that the beast was Vander because of the build of the silhouette.
I really appreciate the decision to make Jinx super notorious amongst the criminal elite, all she had to do was show her face and get instant recognition, but no one else knows her so when she shows up they’re all nonplussed, which has to be humbling for her. Also her trying to be this larger than life, charismatic figure, totally whiffing it, but not getting angry at folks makes her more endearing. Side note: the reason we were all so surprised seeing Maddie hook up with Caitlyn is because Maddie is barely a character. We learned next to nothing about her in the first act, again the showrunners cut so much character development in order to make this a two season show and it’s showing.

Many people had theories that Warwick was Vander after the end of season 1, but now it's confirmed. If you're wondering if that is supposed to be Warwick or not, the subtitle do infact confirm it is him.
I haven't played LoL for like 8 years (Last played the "New" champion was Jhin) I was addicted back then. After watching season 1 episode 2 I already know the characters that would be included in this series. (To be fair, Hound of the Underground + Singed -- was too obvious) Damn I missed out on the big surprise factor for this episode, that's why I'm watching other people react on it. Which leads me to this channel
Isha is Jinx's humanity. Jinx is more tamed and purposeful with her actions. Even seems to be more mature, Jinx has made Isha feel safe. The way Jinx, looked when everyone touched her after breaking them out, was everything I couldn't hold my tears back😢😅. She literally felt she us loved, she is admired. God, this show has me bawling, why. Why is this so fucking next level. Ugh
Sevika was always a G, Vander asked her a question and she gave him an answer to his face where as someone else might have just backed down and betrayed him later. She was always about the Cause and just because Vander walked away from it, doesn't mean she was going to. Even with Silco, he showed signs of slipping and she was straight with him when Finn and Renni came at him, she remained loyal to him because no doubt in her eyes he was the one about the Cause, where as the Chem Barons were just about profits and such, for her it's always been about bringing Zaun up out from beneath Piltover, even if that means she goes against characters we like, to me that doesn't diminish her character, if nothing it makes her a stronger character. I think Vi would have just been a younger version of Sevika if things turned out differently, after all Vi wanted to fight before things went how they did in Episode 3, asking herself why they weren't fighting, it was merely her connection to Vander and his influence that led her down the path she was on, no doubt otherwise she'd have been apart of Silco's group fighting to make Zaun a reality.
Don’t know how many reactors know or care but this show is now official cannon, and riot has gone back and retcond the previous games and lore and character blurbs to fit the show. People have made videos talking about the changes they’ve made. Like a I and Jinx’s backstories were rewritten.

I spent 3 years so worried season 2 wouldn't live up to expectations. Wow!!
The Start of Season 2 Act 2: The Escalation, 4-6 Months later we get to see just how well things has gone since Marshal-law and just like with Act 2 of Season 1 we catch up with Jinx and Caitlyn first before Vi, with Jinx pretty much being in the role of the Protagonist now, at least for this Act,
But now, everything is going to get so much wilder, you’re not ready.

One thing about the Netflix subtitles is that they show the names of characters who haven’t had their name said in the show like they name Singed and Warwick even though no one in the show has said the name

Do they not remmeber that jinx got juiced up by Singed in s1? Shes not a normal human anymore, act 1 showed that plenty of times that shes got insane speed and strenght
Vender was a character created to be Warwick back story, most of we know for the dialogue of the characters VI and Jinxs have with Warwick in the game.
People alwats fiorget avout season 1 after the explosion Jinx was modified using shimer to usrvive that gave her the ability to use super speed and probably some body super strength and reflex too.
the entire time Cait is talking about everything "not being what she thought", or "going on as long as it has", Maddie thinks she is talking about Ambessa and the Noxians....when Cait is actually talking about her.
After seeing this scene multiple times my theory is that Ambessa knew that was Jinx whether it be as soon as she saw her or shortly after while they waited for the tram. But she never acted on it personally. Even if the group of soldiers who rushed in right before WW attacked in the cells was sent by her you would think that if Ambessa really wanted Jinx gone at that time she would go personally. I think she still had use of Jinx to further her grasp on Cait so she mightve sent a half assed squad not really caring whether or not they captured her or she got away.

At season one when Jinx ask Vi to choose who she wants.
Personally, that’s her chance to accept her as she is. Not cling on to the past or try to force her to change back.
Vi could say to her she choose Jinx and get to know her more. That alone should at least make Jinx pause for a moment.
Because she’s expecting the typical rejection.
If Vi really believes in getting back together as sisters / friends. She can do that without needing Jinx to be powder again.

With Silco gone, the council hall blown up & Vi on a different path. Jinx is being left almost without a purpose.
When Isha was first introduced, the very beginning she's being chased and fell into Jinx's life.
I'm totally hoping she'll give Jinx a new purpose and as everyone puts it, let her experience Vi's point of view.
Also someone who accepts her as she is, hence allowing her to move on and not seek acceptance or approval while keep getting rejected.

I think people forget that Jinx does have shimmer in her veins, thats why her eyes glow when shit gets intense.
Caitlyn is already considering a way out, taking Maddie's advice into account. She’s torn between her personal hatred for Jinx what is truly good for the city and the fear of the repercussions of not complying with Ambessa.
In a way, she’s in a similar position to Marcus if you think about that parallel.

If I remember correctly, it was never said that Vi an Jinx were sisters before the show. So I just assumed it was another one of those things, that Vander became Warwick. I’m saying this because they are two characters in the game, but maybe the two characters is just a before and after. Also, watching the sneak peak for act 2, like Achara, I too theorized that the beast was Vander because of the build of the silhouette.
I really appreciate the decision to make Jinx super notorious amongst the criminal elite, all she had to do was show her face and get instant recognition, but no one else knows her so when she shows up they’re all nonplussed, which has to be humbling for her. Also her trying to be this larger than life, charismatic figure, totally whiffing it, but not getting angry at folks makes her more endearing.
Side note: the reason we were all so surprised seeing Maddie hook up with Caitlyn is because Maddie is barely a character. We learned next to nothing about her in the first act, again the showrunners cut so much character development in order to make this a two season show and it’s showing.

Warwick passive ability is he senses low health enemies and gets bloodcrazed, and follows a red sent trail on the map.

Many people had theories that Warwick was Vander after the end of season 1, but now it's confirmed. If you're wondering if that is supposed to be Warwick or not, the subtitle do infact confirm it is him.
I haven't played LoL for like 8 years (Last played the "New" champion was Jhin) I was addicted back then.
After watching season 1 episode 2 I already know the characters that would be included in this series. (To be fair, Hound of the Underground + Singed -- was too obvious)
Damn I missed out on the big surprise factor for this episode, that's why I'm watching other people react on it. Which leads me to this channel

Isha is Jinx's humanity. Jinx is more tamed and purposeful with her actions. Even seems to be more mature, Jinx has made Isha feel safe. The way Jinx, looked when everyone touched her after breaking them out, was everything I couldn't hold my tears back😢😅. She literally felt she us loved, she is admired. God, this show has me bawling, why. Why is this so fucking next level. Ugh

Sevika was always a G, Vander asked her a question and she gave him an answer to his face where as someone else might have just backed down and betrayed him later. She was always about the Cause and just because Vander walked away from it, doesn't mean she was going to. Even with Silco, he showed signs of slipping and she was straight with him when Finn and Renni came at him, she remained loyal to him because no doubt in her eyes he was the one about the Cause, where as the Chem Barons were just about profits and such, for her it's always been about bringing Zaun up out from beneath Piltover, even if that means she goes against characters we like, to me that doesn't diminish her character, if nothing it makes her a stronger character. I think Vi would have just been a younger version of Sevika if things turned out differently, after all Vi wanted to fight before things went how they did in Episode 3, asking herself why they weren't fighting, it was merely her connection to Vander and his influence that led her down the path she was on, no doubt otherwise she'd have been apart of Silco's group fighting to make Zaun a reality.
Don’t know how many reactors know or care but this show is now official cannon, and riot has gone back and retcond the previous games and lore and character blurbs to fit the show. People have made videos talking about the changes they’ve made. Like a I and Jinx’s backstories were rewritten.

Jinx can move so fast because she has Shimmer in her body, and it's why her eyes and tears are pink because of the shimmer.
