I have the doggies in my stash!! I made the cats and kittens in 2020, and they are absolutely darling. I did not do the pocket but it's still so cute as a pillow. I like your suggestion to put the quilt batting for the doggy's ears. I used interfacing on my cats, and like the result. It's such a cute panel.

I think the puppies are supposed to be folded up at the bottom so that you have 2 puppies that are half the size yours are.
