The precooked and seasoned chicken, the coffee cake muffin, almond butter brownie, tzatziki sauce, lemon garlic hummus and vegetables are killer

@@ethanshelbyskateboarding9980 wrong. I actually use it because I live on an island an hour and a half from a grocery store that carry gluten free things that I need to eat healthy, this is much more convenient then crossing a ferry and driving forever to get my things

Mel: Yes, I would like to see another week. Had fun watching this video. I have had some bad experiences with a couple of meal kit boxes, but this one seems easier.

I’m getting an order from them this week and honestly it will probably be my first and last. The meals look underwhelming and small. I went ahead with it since the first order is so discounted… but I don’t see the value for the full cost. I used to get Purple Carrot and honestly I loved that service so much. I think maybe I’ll try them again. The portions of most of the purple carrot recipes were quite large, and very good food. 3-4 recipes was enough food for lunch and dinners for a week.
Try Meeze meals, great food and already chopped up

I would sauté the spinach, sausage and Italian seasonings with olive oil, then add grape tomatoes. Put that on the flatbread.

I tried them in the beginning and didn’t stick with them. I just tried again and find it refreshing how much they have expanded the offerings. Had some wraps tonight super good

I am a farmer and most people out there don't know the difference between organic and non organic.
Tried ordering this on five different occasions. They "lost the shipment" three times. Of the two that arrived I felt it was overpriced and the portions were small. I've had better luck with Blue Apron.

They do breakfast meals, look through the meals. I’ve ordered bagel egg and cheese sandwiches, pancakes, etc
I've been using Hungry Root for about a year. I usually do NOT order recipes, just individual grocery items. It IS a bit more expensive than the actual local grocery. We live in a food desert and my health is poor....so for us, this is a good option.
No travel (gas) expenses.
Smaller quantities.
Fair variety. 5-stars from us.

Thanks for making the video! I was going to sign up for Hungryroot (I do a meal kit once a month, greenchef, blue apron, everyplate... I try to only do it one but I forget to cancel sometimes and I've had a delivery 3 weeks in a row, LOL). This seems like a lot of cooking? I like "cook once, eat 5 times".
You have to cook for every meal but it only takes like 10 minutes! they're so easy to put together
Omg I looove butter on my pancakes with no syrup too!!! Everyone thinks it’s so weird but I can’t understand how hubby can eat them with tons of syrup but no butter 😂

Not to Argue...but i thought their Chicken was Great! I also received Rib Eye Steak & a small serving of Lamb Chops. I liked the fact that it was much tastier than I expected! The only negative I have is that it wasn't Cold enough when it was delivered. Not spoiled or anything, but I felt I should refrigerate immediately. They only had One Large Slab of Solid Ice & also Insulation surrounding it all. What I think they should do (if they're Only going to used One Slab of Ice) is Instead of putting it at the Bottom of the Box, put it on TOP instead. It's pretty common knowledge that Cold Air "Falls" & Hot air rises. So if you put the Ice Chunk on TOP, instead of the Bottom, the Items might stay Cold longer.
* I was VERY impressed with the Items I received & the Flavors were Great! I'll be sticking with Hungry Root in the future.
Ya I didn’t like that they would deliver in the middle of the day cause I couldn’t bring it in until hrs later after work! Definitely need to increase the ice!

I want this but I'm one person. I like grocery option because i want go know exactly what's in my items. I don't want processed sugars or extreem sodium. With other places, its pre made and I don't like that. I love how they have nutrition facts. I struggle with my calories. I'm always eating like under 1k a day. Sometimes like 300. It's a struggle lol. I don't have eating disorder I am just like too busy or lazy to eat. So this will help

I'm just 1 person and this has helped me a lot! I hate cooking but these are such simple meals to make. And they give me a plan for things to eat during the week. I always hated thinking of ideas and going grocery shopping. It's been helpful

I’m surprised they use Great Value brand. That is Walmart brand so makes me wonder how much they are over charging for something I can get curbside. Also I don’t like having to give out my credit card info before shopping…

I love hungry roo but those pancakes were gross. To me they tasted like green grassy quinoa cakes or something. Super savory and not good! But I have to say the rest of their food was pretty tasty
When you review, you should never change the recipes. Or change them for a second meal, but a review should be all original shipped ingredients.

I was given a $300 subscription as a birthday gift. From day 1 there were problems. Customer service is only handled thru e-mail which is not very quick in responding. Website is difficult to decifer at first, everything is listed as credits instead of dollars,prices are expensive.I adjusted my orders to fall in line with my available credit since I was unsure if I would remain a customer.They left many items out of 2 of the 3 deliveries and adjusted my credit by $53 credit. I chose 2 add ons, one a sandwich which was $20(pricey) and another a steak and potato meal for $23.I DO NOT want to give them any credit card because I don't want to continue with this sketchy company any longer. Stay away,far far away from Hungryroot.
Thanks for the review. I was thinking about trying this out but you convinced me to stay away. Pre Cooked Chicken in a bag ? Gordon Ramsay says never ever eat precooked food in a bag that you reheat. That food looks NASTY.

Diet meal review. Adds bacon, butter, parmigian cheese and chocolate chips to everything? Added banana to the pancakes and thinks the texture shouldn’t change.

Wasted all that time and didn't tell us what it cost. I saw a lot of processed food which means it is NOT healthy. From the other replies it sounds VERY expensive and probably a ripoff so thanks for warning us and I will never buy from this Co. Please include the cost of things, it is the most important question of all and you acted like it was irrelevant, wrong.
I think the box I got for the week was $80-90. Depends on the plan you choose.
