Despite all the things they went through together, Shen QingQiu almost never outwardly expresses anger, he always tries to keep his cool persona, and even when he scolds BingHe, he does it with a lofty attitude of dignity he thinks he needs as his teacher. The fact that he got so angry here I found it so cute, because it proves just how happy being proposed to really made him, and how important he considered it, that he got mad when BingHe was so quick to dismiss it. The way they illustrated it here is really great. Awesome work!

According to the translation I read: in older times, the woman would “marry into” the man’s house, so here Binghe first proposed with him as the husband and Shizun the wife, but apparently he’s also willing to switch roles too 😍 (By “role” I meant how the proposal line is worded in Chinese, not gender roles or anything like that)

After all, his Shizun threw him away the first time. The animation is really well done (even if it’s a storyboard 😅). I feel like I can hear the voices and sounds, even if there aren’t any.
