Fantastic Tina! I’ve always loved the melodic chord passages - much more exciting to me than single note soloing. I first saw Joe live in 1976 my freshman year in college, loved him ever since. You are a treasure!
I think I need to find this book. Triad pairing is very useful. I don't know if you noticed, but you can turn those two chords into a hexatonic scale. Then it's "similar" to the harmonic ideas of Barry Harris (splitting an octatonic scale into two seventh chords).
There’s a LOT going on here… I’ll have to check out the book!! Joe Pass’s chord voicings are amazing! Although the book will probably end up on my shelf with all my other books, easier to watch your demonstration, thank you for explaining this difficult material!!
Bonjour Tina Thank's for your information, its great. Do you speak french sometimes ? Peu importe. Votre enseignement est subtile et nessaisaire, bravo à vous, je vois suis. Thank's a lot .
