I appreciate your thoughtful view. I’ve seen many “it’s junk” videos and find them dismissive and disappointing. I am fortunate to own a 2023 Submariner and also a MoonSwatch and they both bring me joy. I look forwarding to purchasing a Scuba Fifty Fathoms and expect it to will make me happy.
Salam brother, great review. I guess if we want to wait in line here at home, the only Swatch outlet which is selling those 50 scubas is only at Swatch Pavillion outlet in Bukit Bintang, KL.
Great episode and topic again! I also love the green one, tomorrow will be avaliable hopefully. I already checked the whole collection in the yellow big box, they all looks good, this is a different quality than Moonswatch. The swatch on your wrist is awsome, I love it! Simple but spectacular!
Thank you very much for this video. When I logged in this morning I noticed that many of the channels I follow on YT had published a video about this collaboration. So I decided to watch them, and see if other videos had also been posted on the same theme. And ... well, there are so many that I won't be able to watch them all. 🙃 But I already know that yours is the most personal and the most interesting one!! Even if, like the others, it allows the Swatch Group to not do any advertising campaign. Because youtubers do it for it (and for free)! 😉 About these 5 watches, I especially like the black and "gold" one, and also the grey one (even if, as they are 42 mm sized, I'll not buy any).
I love how you put the value of Swatch "It makes me smile". I'm not a Swatch-fan but I see it now why my best friend always wears a Swatch. For the fave color, I'm drawn to the yellow-and-black one, seems like the most fun. But I'm most likely not going to get one because it's $400.
Great idea I think it should happen between more watch brands bring some fun into the world. This would bring an end to the snobbery of the high end watch collector's.
I agree with everything you said instead of just cash grabbing scheme. The only thing i dont like about this is that, their movement are disposable. You literally can't fix them. And they cost $400 for a disposable watch... That's not great for the environment isn't it.
I think you are missing the point of those heavily criticizing Swatch for doing the same scam twice for double the price and prejudice. When a person (who is not into watch collecting\ use )buys something like this for what is very much the average price of a very good real watch ,its basically making then think that time pieces are just hype fashion\status statements that are just disposable . A good watch stays with you even when it stop working, becomes part of your life, could become part of your story and a good tale for your friends and family in the years to come. What swatch is teaching people is that you shouldn't care, just buy it for the cool factor and then throw away when it fails ,because you should aim for the next thing they make, and they are doing these by "making homages" of legendary brands that are famous for being generational time pieces .
That's a toy with a disposable movement with the shape of an iconic watch. Hopefully will be some homage from Aliexpress. This is a new level of SNOB SIMPS
If a person understands he is buying a Swatch and not a Blancpain, it’s fine. Blancpain is owned by Swatch. Would they do this on their own? I doubt it. I got the Omega collab because my brother was in London, called me up, to ask if I wanted one. He was on line with his wife and she didn’t want one, but would pick it up for me. It looks okay. I got my fill of plastic watches.
personally have mixed feelings but the swatch movement and plastic case just does not sound enticing. The looks are nice but ill just opt for a Aliexpress knockoff and call it there.
Do not be a victim of Hype here again. Keep remind yourself that this is not Blancpain product, but instead a swatch product with a Blancpain logo. This is exactly what fake Chinese watches are about in nature or homage watches. Therefore, the tag price of $400 is not justified. As a matter-of-fact, $400 is only for those who stay long hours behind the store door. The price for other people mY be definitely in $600-800 range which definitely is not worth at all.
Also, you are getting a $12,000 watch for just $400. Just ignore that it is plastic and has no parts comparable to a Blancpain, but it says Blancpain on the dial, so it must be a Blancpain. I can’t decide if I am going to camp out at the Swatch store for 2 or 3 days?
@@rickjason215 lol. For comparison I bought a brand new Tissot with a nicely done steel case, sapphire crystal, day/date, powermatic 80 for $250. These same watch nerds will dog on the 'plastic' powermatic parts.

Part of the price premium is for the display case back to see the Swatch 51 movement.
Great video brother! 👍

I think they did a very good job on the casebacks! The Arctic is my favourite. But not willing to act silly to get one... 🙃
I think these are great!

Good Man...their COOL.......
Great video and I agree 100%. I hope this brings more eyes on Blancpain and also leads to better marketing and maybe a bit smaller diameter watches.
The casebacks are impressive. Too bad I don't have a Swatch store within hundreds of miles of my home.
I would love to pick up the indian occean.. but first i am going to let the hype die down a little and only then make a move towards it

Putin loves Blancpain, so they really needed to do something so people forget about that.

You’re totally right. But I want one!
Give it 6 months and you'll be able to buy it retail. Patience is a virtue.
@@timcarlstrand5890 the Chinese ones will be sold for $27 probably that time
@timcarlstrand5890 why wait just burn 400 in your back yard
It's not awesome. People will dog on MVMT then buy a swatch. "I know it's cheap but the shape and colorssss!"

To pay 400 for a plastic disposable watch you must be mad you can buy a nice seiko diver for 400 instead of this crap
