    I was lucky to save some hardware from an extra engine that included the stud for the ground that goes to to motor mount and i replaced one of the bolts to the motor mount with it. So I basically made both bolts for the motor mounts studs and added the big 3 to the new one for a clean install.

    finally a video, i bought my 00 GT with this kill switch and honestly wasnt sure where some of these wires went, and im thinking its just a ground kill switch, one comes from the battery and goes into the cab then jumps back into the engine bay where you showed and goes under the car, those smaller wires i wasnt too sure where they went, seems like if i just run it all back to the neg of the battery then i will be fine

    Pretty sure I have a bad ground somewhere as all four of my O2 sensors are throwing heater codes. Fuse is good. Sensors are new. Need to chase down where they ground to.

    I put a tubular k-member in my 01 cobra when i was swapping in a built 98 cobra teksid, and it came with new motor mount bolts, without studs, so when I was finished doing the swap, there was a few ground wires I had left over so this helped 4 sure.
    I usually put all nuts and bolts back where they go after I remove them so I never forget where they go, even though I can look at mustang bolts and pretty much tell where they go (especially fox bodies), but when you don't work on the car for a bit, you still can forget especially because a lot of the 4v bolts are the same, respectively, but the grounds that weren't connected to the harness were a different story.

    The cable shown at 0:14 has been disconnected since buying my car in 2017. Do you think this could possibly just now be an issue? My 03 GT won’t hold a charge, turning on the lights, using the radio and hitting the brakes (brake lights) all drain it fast. Any help with my headache would be greatly appreciated!

    Are these ground locations on all sn95's? I have a 94 5.0 that's having problems going past 4k rpms with load. The car stumbles and breaks up real bad and was said could be ground issue. I can't find a ground wire on my firewall at all and can't find reliable info on where they all go

    • @dannyjohnsonsgarage
      @dannyjohnsonsgarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This video shows where they are mostly, in exception to the starter (some use the transmission itself as the ground for the starter). You should have the one by the oil filter and on the motor mount(s) for sure

      The dashes usually indicate it is not connecting to the computer. It depends on which module, one can be the ccrm behind the fender (I’ll link a video below). Sometimes it’s as simple as the ground wires near the computer (behind the passenger side kick panel to the right of your feet when sitting in the passenger seat th-cam.com/video/PfiN6U-FqMQ/w-d-xo.html
