    Its better to place the rim on the ground n place the rubber on top then step on the rubber goes on super fast

    Bro, this is Adam! I just got back into gopeds again and was curious if there were any new methods to installing these tires and happened to find your video. I remember you and I doing the soapy water method way back in the day. Super cool to see you still have a goped.

      That's sick we gotta go ride I've never got rid of it just kept it in good shape spent too much money on it over the years.

      @@MICHAELinHD I texted your old number a couple weeks ago. Wasn't sure if you got a new number, didn't hear back from you.

    The applecore spindle is a neat idea/concept but in the real world(especially the shred ped ones) they dont work too well. They are extremely heavy which robs power and will disintegrated your tires super fast(youll be lucky to get more than 1 hour runtime out of a new tire). Also they cause alot of drag so if your using a stock/mild engine performance will be significantly lost. The only good thing is that they hook up great if your running a high output engine(basically no tire slip) and if your not running a beadlock in the back the spindle does help keep the tire from walking around at speed but not as good as a beadlock. All in all i would definitely say that they aren't worth th $80+ they want for them new, just stick with blackmagic or knurled spindles.

    So when I reset my rear wheel on my sport today and got it set up on a milk crate to cold start and warm up. Well 5 mins into light throttle revs to warm it I look below the rear wheel and there is a huge pile of tire dust unearth it. When I looked at the rear wheel/spindle it looked fine but I know something is having lots of friction.. what could it be my man? Any ideas?

      Since it is a friction driven scooter it is pretty normal for your to accumulate tire dust on your Goped! The spindle makes direct contact with the rubber tire.

      I noticed the same thing. Smells like burnt rubber. Like I've been doing burnouts. And my fender has tire dust on it

    I have a go-ped sport, wanna switch to air tires any info on that??

    • @MICHAELinHD

      I don't think they make air tires for a hard tire goped.

    Can you rotate the front tire with the rear tire if your in a pinch?

    • @MICHAELinHD
      @MICHAELinHD  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes of course. I wouldn't recommend it but you should be fine as long as you have enough braking tread on the sidewalls.

  • @chuckennuggett
    @chuckennuggett ปีที่แล้ว

    Does the tire rotation matter on the rear?

    • @MICHAELinHD
      @MICHAELinHD  ปีที่แล้ว

      No it does not. Only on the front tire for braking purposes.

    Ok so just outta curiosity…is there any differences between the newer style frames vs an Xped frame cause I seen on an Xped frame you need extensions in order to run a .750 spindle

    • @MICHAELinHD
      @MICHAELinHD  ปีที่แล้ว

      You should be fine running .750 spindle on a new tire on an xped frame. I don't think there is any difference between the two frames when it comes to dimensions.

      It’s anything larger than an .800 needs extensions

    Hey man I just a got a go ped sport. It didn’t come with a rear wheel or a rear tire! Any idea where I can get one!? Just got the engine to run. Might need a new throttle cable kinda sticky throttle. Do you have any other social media that we can chat on? Thanks in advance
