Early on, it's revealed that Kinger glows when he holds his breath. At the end of the adventure, as he and Pomni hold their breath in order to pass safely through the last leg of the mansion, Pomni looks up at him and finds him absolutely bathed in soft golden light, a literal beacon in the darkness.
4:48 The creator said that Jax would only get worse throughout the series and do something unforgivable (among more bad things), apart from that Jax is the one who deserves to be trapped in the circus the most. Jax is just a jerk
@@sebastiansepulveda547it’s a lie, Gooseworx never said Jax ONLY gets worse, she said (before the release of episode 2), Jax does get worse but also that he has “depth that is explored way later down the line.”
"Good memories can do a lot. Hold onto them. And cherish the people around you. You never know when they'll be gone. In this world, the worst thing you can do is...make someone think they're not wanted or loved." Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I love Kinger so much!!! He's becoming one of my favorite characters.
Here's the thing I keep thinking back on: Caine is LITERALLY part of the software, native to the circus. So, like any good computer programme, he works to serve a purpose and finish tasks automatically. As soon as he finishes that task? He forgets it and moves on to the next one. If he's told to forget a part of his program, he forgets it. He gets an existential crisis when Zooble tells him that he's doing a bad job because making fun adventures and serving the players of the circus is literally his main function. If he DOESNT, well there's no more reason for him to exist, is there? I also feel like Zooble may be some form of a trans allegory? I dont know how i would explain it tho
Omg this makes so much sense! Also I’m fairly certain Zooble is at least non-binary, since they use they/them, so you’re probably right about that. The whole part things and not liking your body, it really fits
17:25 Wht happens to Kinger is worse than what happened with Gummigoo, he was recicled, his memory reset, but Kinger will just forget that conversation, that is trully tragic
This episode was fun and genuinely unnerving. Kinger was so good and his relationship with Pomni was so sweet. Zooble's therapy session was interesting as they haven't been around much so it's nice to see what they think about everything, though the circus apparently being linked to Caine's mental state does not look good for our protags
I love how when kingers like “I’m starting to think” and doesn’t say anything everyone thinks that’s the joke but he’s literally announcing when in the plot it’s dark enough for his mind to start turning on
I don’t think Caine has a bad memory, because if you watch the therapy scene carefully you’ll notice that he only forgets or “doesn’t pay attention” to what Zooble says when they say “Forget it.” He probably took it very seriously and literally forgot.
I don't think so. I think its mostly to send them somewhere where the others won't get hurt as well. From the way the abstracted change people and things, its probably in his code to not let them run around. But i think theres a possibility of turning back, but since they are all in the cellar, they cant
I think the joke about Caine not remembering Zooble's issues is because Zooble constantly dismisses her own feelings by saying "forget it" without realizing that Caine's AI is taking that literally, every. single. time.
A couple things I noticed about Kinger after watching this episode: In Episode 1 Kinger mentioned insect collections a couple times, probably because his wife liked insects. In Episode 2 Kinger gave Ragatha good meaningful advice while he had a bucket on his head because he becomes more coherent when he's in darkness.
When Zooble talked abt not liking herself and her body, I kinda felt that. But in a weird way. I'll never be able to understand how smth like this feels, but the way Cane just straight up ignored her and didn't even try to understand her hit hard. When u pour out ur heart to someone and they just can't understand u it's so painful.
i really hope that maybe at some point we can get little flashbacks of queenie and kinger or better yet maybe even get queenie back altogether :3 also?? this is proof that the abstractions have consciousness and aren’t just enraged beasts?? so theoretically if they can be brought to their senses then maybe we can get the old characters back?? :0
Perhaps, if somehow their minds can be restored precisely I would be supportive. The trick would to somehow trigger their memories to come back. A smell, sound, sight, touch, or even some form of taste to trigger the subconscious in restoring their mental state.

Oh, I have not heard people thinking Jax may be AI. But that makes me think about the second episode when Cane said he lose track of who is human and who is AI. Be crazy if a person found Jax, connected with him, and brought him into the circus. But later that person abstracted
When it came to learning about kinger i absolutely loved it! If I remember correctly the creators said that the people in the circus remember bits and pieces of their past and who they use to be. They just don’t remember their names once they get to the circus. So it kinda made sense when kinger said “7 years of computer science for this”
If you remember, in the previous episode, Kinger had a moment of clarity with Ragatha about when she first arrived. Kinger had a bucket over his head. He was in the dark.
I’ve learned if Indie wants to make me on the verge of tears, it just has to tackle body dysmorphia/gender dysphoria and father figures. First II and now Digital Circus, Also Kinger is my favorite character and this only cemented that feeling
I'm glad someone else noticed the Pennywise similarities, cause I was screaming it the whole time! Also "theoretical children", because Cane makes every adventure he goes on. In the last one the cand people saw him as God. Their creator. So Cane made everything in this adventure too, and in the recordings he said theoretical because it's not actual people, their MPCs with coding. That part got me at first too and then I remembered the last episode and connected dots with red string on my wall 😭😭
The fact the monsters were angels and the inside of that dudes mouth looked like the glitched out thingys makes me think they officially die when they glitch out
Possible lore: Jax is a person using an avatar and can leave is building more...like maybe holding his breath forces the boot out, if the system thinks he is genuinely in danger. Caine once again demonstrates despite his admin controls he is a more limited AI than what Gummigoo was, and lastly the most disturbing implications here...Pomni being possessed...implies Caine has the programming means to hijack their bodies and control them...he said in episode one he can't affect their minds..but he can affect their bodies and this clearly extends to controlling said bodies, even making other programs to do just that. oh and the situation with Kinger's wife set against the therapy session shows what we theorized before, Caine does not understand the human mind at all, and it may be possible that those abstracted were having psychotic breakdowns, anxiety attacks, etc...and Caine unable to recognize mental issues and help with that just dumps them out of sight. Heck wouldn't be surprised if some of those abstracted we find out later had partially recovered so we see partially abstracted people down there later on.
If you look back at Kinger in the earlier episodes, we can actually see his lucidity and his attachment to his wife. Kinger first brings up an insect collection in episode 1, most likely because that's what his life would have loved to talk about and we later see what was likely his wife's room when Ragatha is taking Pomni to Kofmo. In episode 2, when Ragatha is worrying about Pomni, Kinger calms her down only when his head is in a bucket, aka in darkness. It's also interesting to note that Kinger hating bugs could also be a reference to computer bugs, as Kinger brings up the fact that he had seven years of computer programming. Finally, the fact that Kinger glows in the dark when he holds his breath could symbolize him as the sun, brightly shining and leading everyone else around them-- while also being surrounded by darkness. Since Kinger has been the longest out of all the others, he is the Sun while they're the planets, with his wife and the other Abstracts being the void and the darkness of space.
Kinger was definitely the highlight of the episode! 💜🧡💚 He was so brave, protectively, kind, and wise to Pomni, I loved their interaction so much! It was so sweet! He’s one of my favorite characters! 🎃💀👻 this episode was so terrifyingly good! 10/10! I got so teary eyed
A nice little detail: Once Kinger and Pomni entered the "matoor" door, they were able to say "Hell" and "damn" without being censored. In the context of the afterlife, such words (which most would consider as low level swearing) would be allowed.
Your energy and personality shine through in every video, and it always brings a smile to my face. Keep being your adorable self! (I have social anxiety and it took me 20 minutes to write this comment. My heart beats so fast right now)

I absolutely love the theory and hope so much that it’s something like that. I truely hope Gooseworks shows us bc Jax is my fav ❤ Great video! ✨
After Watching Episode 3, Kinger is easily one of my Favourite Characters now alongside Pomni and Ragatha ❤️ It explains why Kinger was so wise while wearing the bucket on his head in episode 2 when he was talking to Ragatha and why his eyes were closed during Kaufmo’s Funeral. He finds it easier to speak his mind when surrounded by Darkness because it makes him think of his wife who he really misses so much 😢 That also explains why he is always in his fort all the time as well. Looking back on the previous episodes hits me harder now that I understand Kinger better ❤️
After the episode, I feel really bad for Kinger and Zooble. Kinger lost his wife and Zooble absolutely hates themselves. I hope all of the characters get a good ending.
I think that the longer they're in the digital circus the quicker they forget things. That's why Caine forgets everything the fastest, and why npc can't be there because he'll forget that they aren't real. And why Kinger also forgets really fast. And why Pomni remembers everything, because she's the newest
The "Ok, I won't" moment reminds me of a time I went to a haunted house one Halloween. I was already not wanting to be there and everyone else went ahead of me so I was walking it alone. I came to a long hallway and I knew that a place like this would be great for a jump scare so I called out "Please don't jump out at me" and a voice off to the side replied "Ok". I thought that was very nice of them. I'm kinda glad I got that moment of peace in hindsight because the next room unlocked strobe lights as a new fear of mine. Those things really make it look like people move without moving like on tv and I hate it.
Little joke from the german dub: At the stard, when Jax explains what happens when the cast doesn't breave, he says that Gangle transformes into a Bayblade.
i am so curious whats going to be happening next for this show. Kinger is apparently the oldest one out of them all who've been there longer. a possibility maybe who he was before he got stuck in digital circus was maybe he was one of the guys who help build the game and got sucked into it. Kinger also gives me a vibe hes like a dad figure for pomni who sadly has memory issues unless swelled in darkness where he can make more sense of things. Kingers story is sad but least we get to know something about at least the abstraction to a degree. guess if they are in darkness theyre more calmer. i do wonder when we'll get more info about it, along more info on the other characters. especially jax which someone pointed out i think ep 6 is when we i think get an idea what his deal is. am curious if he is possibily a rougue AI. theres also the other theory maybe the real jax was accidently deleted and the AI Jack remained. really cant wait to see more of this show tbh!
One thing i noticed about Zooble after they mention that they hate the way they look and say that they have been trying to find pieces that they like since they got here, if you go back and watch the previous episodes you will notice that they are actually swapping pieces between episodes. Ive just never seen anyone else mention it yet.
This will probably get buried but I think my favorite thing about this show so far is how great it is at knowing which parts the audience will be most excited for and DELIVERING on them (making them feel worth the hype). Like: the shotgun scene, the bonding scene in the dark, the sweet little friendship scene at the end etc. they didn’t rush or half-ass them. They are nice and long and satisfying bc they knew those were the parts we were REALLY wanting to see. It’s like if you order a milkshake and the server knows you love chocolate so they give you double the fudge LOL
If you look at the masks of the characters in the trophy room (or when glitch uploaded the renders on their community tab) you can see all the masks are references to different horror movies. Jax’s mask for example is based off of The Rabbit mask from Donnie Darko.
Kinger and Pomni have been my favorite characters since the pilot so a episode largely centered around them was a real treat. If you watch Kinger he demonstrates good gun safety as well. When Pomni crosses his sight he raised the gun so it wasn't pointing at her. He spins the gun in his hand when Pomni gives it to him. When the angle appears he pushes Pomni behind him both to protect her and so he had a clear field of fire. Also if you pay attention the longer he is in darkness the more coherent and complex his sentences become from simple sentences to a complex monologue about his wife to a speech to inspire Pomni.
It's a fun theory for sure. But I don't believe Jax is a NPC or AI. Gooseworxs already listed the characters ages, with Jax being 22 and even made a post saying that of all the players, Jax was the one who belonged in the circus the most. Hinting that he was a good person in real life. Than there is the original song "Knock, Knock" which shows a bit more into Jax thoughts. So all in all, it's very unlikely Jax isn't human. It's strongly hinted he will betray the others at some point but I do think his human since Caine was the only AI listed for the players.
Looking back at the second episode... Kinger has a serious moment with Ragatha while he has a bucket on his head, and instantly forgets what they're talking about when he lifts it off. Details like that are what make these indie shows worth rewatching.
I think Zooble forgot that Caine is an AI; a lot of AI's are programmed to do what the user says, so when Zooble tells Caine to "Forget it" he literally forgets their conversation.
14:30 I have a theory that if he got into the code, he could somehow make a way out. And according to what happened with Cain, he could be access to the code, I think Cain is connected directly to the code.
My theory is that each of the characters are representative of different mental health issues/conditions. We now have Zoobles as body dysmorphia and Kinger as Alzheimers. Unrelated, as someone who struggles with memory issues because of mental health issues I've had for a long time, Kinger's story breaks my heart.
I figure that the reason Kinger was hypnotized by the monster was because all the eyes made it look like his wife, at the end. And I wonder how dark it gets in his pillow fort, if it's enough to bring him back to himself. Also, Zooble definitely has some kind of physical dismorphia going on. Whether theyre trans or whatever, something is going on there.

Scaring away the content farms would be a good thing.
It won't
If anything, they'll milk the monster
That didn't stop them from milking Siren Head and Cartoon Cat so I doubt that'll stop them here unfortunately
No way. Even if it scares the piss outta them, kids eat this stuff up.
I love how this show balances it's horror aspects with the dark comedy while still giving it's characters genuine emotional scenes and start's to show us flashbacks for their backstories.
Kinger’s been my favorite character since day 1, and I feel so validated after this episode.

The true Sexyman over Jax
Early on, it's revealed that Kinger glows when he holds his breath. At the end of the adventure, as he and Pomni hold their breath in order to pass safely through the last leg of the mansion, Pomni looks up at him and finds him absolutely bathed in soft golden light, a literal beacon in the darkness.
4:48 The creator said that Jax would only get worse throughout the series and do something unforgivable (among more bad things), apart from that Jax is the one who deserves to be trapped in the circus the most.
Jax is just a jerk
Source?
@@sebastiansepulveda547it’s a lie, Gooseworx never said Jax ONLY gets worse, she said (before the release of episode 2), Jax does get worse but also that he has “depth that is explored way later down the line.”
There’ll likely be an explanation for why he’s so awful. But I don’t see him getting BETTER
@@DrSuperLuigiSeth1 this episode was probably his tamest of the 3 though
@@joshuaagee-bass4049 Because He was tied up, duh.
8:00 In the spanish audio he says "Could you repeat that? I don't speak lovecraftian", it was very funny!
"Good memories can do a lot. Hold onto them. And cherish the people around you. You never know when they'll be gone. In this world, the worst thing you can do is...make someone think they're not wanted or loved."
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
The “Angel” book is most likely also a shoutout to Weeping Angels from Doctor Who. Look away from them for a second, and they move.
I thought it was foreshadowing to the fact the 'monster' is really an angel.
Oooh i didn't think about this!
Makes me love this episode even more❤
@@danielRpauls it is, but they also say to keep your eyes on it, which is a key attribute of the Weeping Angels
17:25 Wht happens to Kinger is worse than what happened with Gummigoo, he was recicled, his memory reset, but Kinger will just forget that conversation, that is trully tragic
Think of it like a grandparent with dementia. Would you rather still have them, but they don’t remember you sometimes, or lose them entirely?
This episode was fun and genuinely unnerving. Kinger was so good and his relationship with Pomni was so sweet. Zooble's therapy session was interesting as they haven't been around much so it's nice to see what they think about everything, though the circus apparently being linked to Caine's mental state does not look good for our protags
The lore in this episode is insane! I loved it so much, can’t wait for episode 4!
Its kinda like character ai, it forgets all the time info you already gave it.
this must be why caine sends the abstracted to the cellar, he *knows* it calms them, he’s trying to help them go back to normal
OH
I don't think so. I think its mostly to send them somewhere where the others won't get hurt as well. From the way the abstracted change people and things, its probably in his code to not let them run around.
But i think theres a possibility of turning back, but since they are all in the cellar, they cant
@@barbararab6390 ok
I think the joke about Caine not remembering Zooble's issues is because Zooble constantly dismisses her own feelings by saying "forget it" without realizing that Caine's AI is taking that literally, every. single. time.
Zooble: "Never Mind." "Just forget about it." "Forget it." "Just forget it."
Caine: "Forget What?"
me understand this comment very very very well (But at the same time i like over thinkign stuf easily)
A couple things I noticed about Kinger after watching this episode:
In Episode 1 Kinger mentioned insect collections a couple times, probably because his wife liked insects.
In Episode 2 Kinger gave Ragatha good meaningful advice while he had a bucket on his head because he becomes more coherent when he's in darkness.
I knew Ashley Nichols was an incredible animator, but I had no idea she could be THIS expressive and emotional as a voice actress too!
Absolutely 😊
Gangle: "Did you remember to get my comedy mask?"
Kinger: (bonk!)
LOL!!! That had no business being that funny!!!!
Kinger glowing gives me the vibes of a divine figure guiding someone to safety, or in this case, out of hell.
The way bro said “OK I won’t”😂
He sounded so chill
"I'm starting to think"
Because he's in the dark!😭😭😭
i really hope that maybe at some point we can get little flashbacks of queenie and kinger or better yet maybe even get queenie back altogether :3 also?? this is proof that the abstractions have consciousness and aren’t just enraged beasts?? so theoretically if they can be brought to their senses then maybe we can get the old characters back?? :0
Why does this make so much sense
Perhaps, if somehow their minds can be restored precisely I would be supportive. The trick would to somehow trigger their memories to come back. A smell, sound, sight, touch, or even some form of taste to trigger the subconscious in restoring their mental state.
7:16 Their eyes are 2d animated! :D That's pretty neat
Alsow the animation for this episode was beautiful! The bouncy movement and the smooth everything is so gorgeous :D
7:54 Alsow ⚠️ *jumpscare warning* but i LOVE this creature it's horrifying and off-putting and the screams it makes are so on point! Props to the ones who made this ❤
17:00 I just realized Kinger's lucidity in the dark was hinted at in the last episode when he had the bucket on his head!
I love how we get to see the true Kinger in this episode
Oh, I have not heard people thinking Jax may be AI. But that makes me think about the second episode when Cane said he lose track of who is human and who is AI. Be crazy if a person found Jax, connected with him, and brought him into the circus. But later that person abstracted
the "you'll never know when they'll be gone" hit harder than it should have :(
😢 gummigoo
Kinger’s sad backstory 😢it hurts 💔 I need to go see my grandparents more often 😢.
When it came to learning about kinger i absolutely loved it! If I remember correctly the creators said that the people in the circus remember bits and pieces of their past and who they use to be. They just don’t remember their names once they get to the circus. So it kinda made sense when kinger said “7 years of computer science for this”
Awww, Kinger! 😭😭😭 That's why he's always in the pillow fort, so he can remember Queenie!
First II and now Digital Circus,
Also Kinger is my favorite character and this only cemented that feeling
The music for the premiere countdown was giving Murder Drones and I love that
15:36 THATS WHY IN THE FIRST EPISODE HE ASKED IF ZOOBLE SAW AN INSECT COLLECTION!!!!
This episode was terrifyingly creepy but with a bitter sweet moment
I'm glad someone else noticed the Pennywise similarities, cause I was screaming it the whole time! Also "theoretical children", because Cane makes every adventure he goes on. In the last one the cand people saw him as God. Their creator. So Cane made everything in this adventure too, and in the recordings he said theoretical because it's not actual people, their MPCs with coding. That part got me at first too and then I remembered the last episode and connected dots with red string on my wall 😭😭
Or a case of a cheating wife.
Its so nice to see Kinger protecting Pomni!!! That's so sweet of him!!!!
15:10 - 17:03 Sean (Kingers voice actor) killed it
If you look back at Kinger in the earlier episodes, we can actually see his lucidity and his attachment to his wife.
He was so brave, protectively, kind, and wise to Pomni, I loved their interaction so much!
As a horror fan, i absolutely loved this episode! I also loved the foreshadowing and character development! Also pomni's eyes lol
Your energy and personality shine through in every video, and it always brings a smile to my face. Keep being your adorable self! (I have social anxiety and it took me 20 minutes to write this comment. My heart beats so fast right now)

Me and my friend came up with a theory.
What if Jax turns into a smaller version of himself or becomes really fluffy? Something wholesome that he’s embarrassed about?
I absolutely love the theory and hope so much that it’s something like that. I truely hope Gooseworks shows us bc Jax is my fav ❤
Great video!
3:25 not Vanessa, it's Tessa
"Vanessa, I do not know how I got here 🐻😧" -Freddy, 2021
After the episode, I feel really bad for Kinger and Zooble. Kinger lost his wife and Zooble absolutely hates themselves. I hope all of the characters get a good ending.
I think that the longer they're in the digital circus the quicker they forget things. That's why Caine forgets everything the fastest, and why npc can't be there because he'll forget that they aren't real. And why Kinger also forgets really fast. And why Pomni remembers everything, because she's the newest
I have a theory that maybe the reason why Caine and the rest can't remember is because someone is preventing them from remembering.
I love it when the comic relief gets given greater depth in their character :)
Aww :')
I still will never forgive Caine for what he did to Gummigoo, but dam I felt that hint of a Menty B and SWIFT swivel to avoid it XD
"I need to have nice dreams and not nightmares tonight" oh you poor thing 😅
How to torture jax
1: give him corn
2:thats it :)
One thing i noticed about Zooble after they mention that they hate the way they look and say that they have been trying to find pieces that they like since they got here, if you go back and watch the previous episodes you will notice that they are actually swapping pieces between episodes. Ive just never seen anyone else mention it yet.
Kinger's backstory involving his wife is so sad. I feel so bad for him.
13:27 MY GREEK MYTHOLOGY NERD SELF GOT SO EXCITED WHEN YOU MENTIONED THAT
This will probably get buried but I think my favorite thing about this show so far is how great it is at knowing which parts the audience will be most excited for and DELIVERING on them (making them feel worth the hype).
11:16
"Okay, I won't," he said.
"Double Okay," I said myself and was shocked.
When caine said"my meowing milkmaid"part..i think its the Jax maid referrence...
Your gonna have ALOT of nightmares
I don't know about that. The episode wasn't very scary. I found it to be more funny and emotional.
Theres something so symbolic about kinger glowing while walking with pomni. Like a guiding angel if you will.
YOURS AND MORGANS ARE AT THE SAME TIME😭I CAN’T WATCH YOU BOTH AT THE SAME TIME😭(I wish I could tho)
No they're not they're an hour apart
It’s at 18:00 pm Morgan’s one
I'm actually surprised you didn't point out the fact that Kinger's and Pomni's eyes were animated in 2D instead of the usual 3D.
I think Zooble forgot that Caine is an AI; a lot of AI's are programmed to do what the user says, so when Zooble tells Caine to "Forget it" he literally forgets their conversation.
Kinger’s speech really hit me hard. My grandmother has dementia and she can’t really remember me, but what kinger said to pomni really helped me
14:30 I have a theory that if he got into the code, he could somehow make a way out. And according to what happened with Cain, he could be access to the code, I think Cain is connected directly to the code.
Really leaning into the horror themes this episode! That glowing face will haunt my dreams...
Nobody I've seen talks about this, kinger glowing in, the underworld, is incredibly biblical and i love it
I figure that the reason Kinger was hypnotized by the monster was because all the eyes made it look like his wife, at the end. And I wonder how dark it gets in his pillow fort, if it's enough to bring him back to himself. Also, Zooble definitely has some kind of physical dismorphia going on. Whether theyre trans or whatever, something is going on there.
Kinger really stole the show this episode, his moments with Pomni were so adorable. Bro is like an old grandpa
