HTA said if the market called for it, the stock was designed to accept double stack magazines with some modification and they would start manufacturing the new mag well. The market obviously called for it but HTA did not follow through with their claim. Too bad for us.

I paid the lockdown / covid inflation price for a new 995 & immediately bought the High Tower conversion. Then decked it out with bi pod, scope etc. Two years later a first gen 995 with an ATI stock, also decked out with Carbo trigger, charging handle, A red/green dot & A very nice flash hider showed up at my FFL. Loving my Bull pup, I just had to have the ATI. Paid good money for both. I enjoy showing them. Reactions along with the joy of shooting More than justify any price. One thing I have to share, Everything about the Bull Pup is awkward till it touches my shoulder. Once there, It Belongs there. Well Done Hi Point & High Tower Armory. I am now looking for an original 995 / The ugly ugly one with a metal barrel shroud AKA planet of the apes stock with bolts & no last round bolt open. When your cheapest toy is your favorite, You bought the right Toy..

Why not do a Ruger 10-22 bull pup mod instead? It's a perfect plinking starter gun that can still go through a half inch pine board at 200+ yards. Almost no recoil and ammo is .10 cent a round vs .20 of 9mm. It adds up really quick if you want to actually learn to shoot and have a lot of fun. Sure, this is a great looking mod, but for practice and putting rounds on target quickly and accurately nothing beats the .22LR, especially for kids. Plus this stock mod costs as much as the gun itself. And for ~$500-$600 you could just get a better 9mm.

My high point carbine never stove piped,or jammed... I had it in the ATI stock..... first thing you do is get rid of those two cheap screws to take it down, go to hardware store and find something better with lock nuts, and or small lock washer's, cut down to fit smoother, anyway when you tighten those two screw's with original bolts you tighten them and the slide doesn't flow freely, with the New ones that's not a problem, when tightening them, move bolt back and forth to make sure it's smooth and not to tight on the bolt.... I've did this for numerous people at the range, they would have stove pipe after stove pipe, not anymore.... just takes a little time.

There are a few places in the video where you say (without using tools) "it's locked in place and it's not coming apart" or something of that nature...
    Question 1)
How easy is it to take it apart so you can for whatever reason convert it BACK from the bullpup to its original Hi-Point carbine configuration? (For example, do those "locked in place" items now require tools to "unlock" them?)
Which leads into my next main question.
    Question 2)
Does Hi-Point still honor its warranty after this conversion has been performed and used and something of the original rifle fails?
(of course unconverted it back to its original Hi-Point configuration before submitting under warranty. I'm fairly certain Hi-Point from operational wear marks can EASILY tell it was converted and used in a bullpup configuration.

The whole Bull Pup look is ugly to me puts the action to close to your eye. I for one like the barrel to protrude some and like a longer stock. I would love to see a wooden stock conversion. To make it look more like a mini rifle of yesterday's past.

If High Point really wanted a winner they'd come out with a version that runs Glock mags as what's the point of having a PCC that can't run 33rd fun sticks?

All this... for a 3" carry difference, and only a slight benefit from weight shift, and the same barrel length. I'll pass.
If they were going bother making a bullpup, they should've went full boat... action as far rearward as possible, 20" barrel to make legal length, and fix that 💩 grip angle.
