Thank you for this. Three years after you posted it, I watched this with my new-to-me used Digitakt I with a Volca keys plugged into it. I made a track that sounded to me like Tired Sounds of Stars of the Lid and this made me very happy. thank you.

You can also use this function with the sequencer and go beserk with trigless (yellow) trigs. Set the sample trig condition to 1st and it will loop to infinity while the sequencer is running.
