Very nice demo! Thanks. Having discovered recently the existence of the Zoom effects manager - some kind of mod / hack, I am seriously considering acquiring the Zoom MS70CDR Multistomp pedal. I wish some similar mod would exist for other pedals like the ones by TC Helicon and more. Someone should develop an open-source pedal together with an open-library of effects online to freely add, modify or delete, something of a collective contribution platform.

Thanks for the software. I was using 2.0 on a cracked version, and wasn't aware of this manager. PC recognized it immediately and software update seems successful. 70CDR was my main pedal for years, and still has a place dedicaTED TO THE yAMAHA djx AND kORG vOLCA fm. The only other pedal that is more powerful (that I now own), is the Beebo which services the Neutron and other eurorack modules via a Bored Brain Patchulator. But the Beebo with it's touchscreen and flexible routings, isn't as immediate as the Zoom. Following on Bandcamp.
Anyone have a resource on how to do this. Again absolute newbie here and bought my zoom 70 used. Going to try the Glacierrev and infisweel first! Also, Ill definitely check out your bandcamp, I love ambient. Thanks for sharing, Im sure this project took some time to create and share. Respect..
To me it's a gem of a pedal! And I tell you, I did AB comparison of all the Strymon and Eventide emulations: the zoom is not as hifi as the originals, but it's very close!
@@mdmamusicproduction you can't compete with Eventide or Strymon's algos, but the Zoom for the price does a wonderful Job, IMHO. For me the trick is combining together more effects to get the results I want, like I did in the preset I show in the video. Let's say, for live situation the Zoom is amazing, but maybe in studio you want something with more high fidelity.
Man, this is the pedal I want, it has all the delays and reverbs that my gt10 doesnt have.. Honestly I doubt gt100 or gt1000 have them. That particle delay and things like that, I am gonna put to work my gt10 since it has some interesting delays that I never paid attention, it has modulated delays, reverse delay, and warp delay.. which tells me that I havent explored my gt10 in depth, but there are delays and reverbs from this device that I would love to have. You are not the first one that says it is not the best quality, but if I wanted to buy a high quality that has all those delays and reverbs in ms70 or ms100, which device could I buy??
I always find amazing and amusing that nobody else came you with a similar Multistomp-workalike concept after Zoom. After all these years I still love my MS70.

What do you think about it? is it exactly like this?? or is it a different device?? have you tried it?
@@capsuleboy I used to have also the MS100 (note it's discontinued), it features distortions and amp emulations, but you have the same full array of delay, reverbs, filter and modulations as on the MS70. Back then it was cool because there was this IOS app, which you could manage the FXs on the MS100 (via bluetooth), and newer FXs where added times to times (but then prior discontinuing no more new effects were released, but now all those effects are available on all Multistomps). In my setup once I used MS70 for reverbs and MS100 for delay and modulations, but then I copied the same presets on both units, so that I could use either as a backup. At some point the MS100 became redundant (since I have also a HX Stomp, Mercury7 and Timeline), so I gave it to a friend, and kept only the MS70. if you need only delay, reverbs and modulation go for the MS70. If you need the distortions check out the MS50 or the MS60Bass (these have mono input, but I think the rev/delay/mod should be the same).

I ask because sometimes in order to include more things they lower the quality of effects.. If this is not the case, then ms100 may be worth, after all. I have been trying to make a patch like the freeze pedal using trigger hold delay so the chord sustains and you play over it. Do you have any ideas how I can do this? Many thanks.
I want to get a zoom pedal... I heard there's a hack you can add any of the zoom pedals effects to any zoom pedal... Zo I was thinking a g3n would be more versatile than the ms50 or ms70 because it has three switches. Thoughts?
I know about the hack, but at the moment works only on windows system not on mac osx. I never played the g3n, but note the multistomp and g3n don't share the same effects!

You need to know the pedal, and the different effect blocks etc. But normally patches are done quite fast.

Yes, top to bottom follows the signal flow in the ms70, from input to output

I never tried this, but try using a very short delay or a reverb with decay maxed out. These may be good starting point to experiment.
