From south Florida, Thanks so much for keeping this type of music alive. Love the sound of that banjo !!!! Liked, subscribed, shared, saved, and will enjoy for many years to come. AMAZING !
I have to say/ I love ya'll!! When I was growing up, a family vacation consisted of a 5 day period at a national park,by a creek- playing gospel music every night by a campfire! It just don't get no better than that!! Thankyou for your love of our Savior & your love of music! God bless!!!!
lovely music lovely smiles I love bluegrass and so do a lot of people here in Australia. hello from down under, on behalf of me and my friends . tony lee
Im still a fan . KICK IT OFF KATIE. 😊 what a friend we have in Jesus, pulled this old New Englander out of the blues in 2020 .Thank You .i never forget a friend😊
Wow...I never knew that these people existed until just a few minutes ago. Great musicianship! May they come to the knowledge of the truth of the gospel and be filled with the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Amen.
The Purple Hulls completely own any song they do. When the three are together they have the undefinable chemistry that makes them truly special! I've purchased both of their albums (available on iTunes) and play them through a couple of times a week, they're really fantastic! The sisters can burn the frets off of any stringed instrument they touch, and Ben is a force of nature on the banjo (which I did NOT grow up listening to in NYC, but am coming to really appreciate). Consider this...I'm an atheist and they are gospel bluegrass (lol), and they're so good musically that I love their mojo. Keep going Purple Hulls, the three of you definitely have 'it' and I'll be a life long fan.
+Steven Sanabria Hi Steven, I appreciate your thoughtful reply. In a genuine spirit of friendship allow me to offer a perspective. You're listening to a Buddhist chant, you comment on the wonderful musical qualities, and I reply offering to you that if you keep listening you'll 'get the message'...which is a friendly gesture in it's intent (and why I appreciated your enthusiasm for the Purple Hulls.) They are truly musically awesome, I still listen to them nearly every day. Their new album 'Why We Sing" is again, just fantastic. I'm able to feel this way about them, despite my views on religious belief...it's a kind of freedom that comes with not needing to 'be right' so that others who disagree are 'wrong'. So you see, I really appreciate the spirit of your comment and appreciate you for making it. As for the Purple Hulls, I sing along, feel the vibe musically, even tho perhaps my experience wasn't their intention (which is to spread the Gospel message). Life is so good when I give up being right, it allows me to accept people instead of 'tolerating' them. (Now that the weighty stuff is done, let's talk trivia. If you do deep TH-cam search you'll find a homemeade video with Penny and Katy in someone's living room. Katy has a cat on her lap and at one point in the song she lifts the paws up of this huge hair ball of a cat and I spit some coffee out it was so damn funny. Having never met Ben, Katy or Penny I can't know, but I suspect Katy has quite a sense of humor=)
Just made a big mistake.....I was listening to nice kind of relaxing christian music tonight.....then I played you guys and now I got my second wind. It's bedtime, oh no! 1:08am Loved it!!!!!
I ran across you guys on Texas Country Reporter, I'm sorry to hear about your father but we all know time is not on our side, my condolences. You have a god gift talent for spreading the word of god through music an truly hope your path steers you back to your gifted talents. God bless.
Great driving tune and vocals, you're blessed to be playing together, nothing beats playing with siblings, parents, grandparents and offspring. I've been lucky enough to play with my son on a regular basis, it's one of my greatest pleasures. Good luck guys and I love the twins vocals.
Born and raised Church of Christ, and I have never heard higher ground done like that! Thank you so much!!! It hit a place in my soul I was sure was dead but is not!! Praise God and thank you guys. Keep it up.
I'll never not love Katy's "deer in the headlights" stare down the barrel of the camera off the top of this one

Nick Apuzzo I just discovered them, and I agree! Talented and unpretentious, and they don't seem to be in a hurry to ruin their lives 👍.
They are all siblings, so the bond is closer than just a group of random people coming together and the voices have a natural harmony because of that.
so refreshing, especially after having hymns sung slowly and dreary!!
These folks are GREAT! Why are they not in the BIG times?? Love them!
I think your music is the most greatest music ever. I thank the good lord above for music like yours.
