Definitely! People have to advocate hard and do their own research because Doctors unfortunately often "write off" difficult cases or form opinions with rigidity to them. And, if necessary, change Doctors. People change car mechanics without a 2nd thought but will stay with a toxic Doctor for years.

My sister hadn't had a baby for 8 yrs. Became pregnant, had baby. @7 wks old my niece was not nursing/breathing correctly. 5 drs. thought my sister didn't remember how babies behaved. And/or she was a Munchausein mom... Causing problems to get attention. Baby nearly died - 2x!! Due to "tumour" in her throat. Many years of surgery, 1 year of a tube in her throat (forget word); everyone scared she would die. She's 21 now!! Perfectly normal. Sometimes we forget. She's perfect, bratty, into make-up. I was in a motorcycle accident at 62 years old. Air lifted and stopped breathing 2 day coma. My husband of 52 years has struck by me and taught me to eat, walk, dress myself. He has stayed with me going on 10 years now. He is my soul mate!! It hasn't been easy on either of us but I am completely mobile and eat just fine. The first thing I swallowed was a potato chip...love them then and now. I have a brain leak that Duke Hospital in N.C is going to patch. Laura & Jon: R E S P E C T ! Just go on step by step, there's nothing to stop you. I saw a doctor beeing absoloutly stunned by the last MRI printout, he couldn't believe I healed my back without surgery, just by not accepting the status and fight for myself day by day. Not so good days I accepted and focused on the next day to become a better one, and was patient to myself. Now after 15 years later there has been no issue any more as long as I do a little workout constantly. Everything is possible.

For many people, its simple improvements in their quality of life that make huge impacts in theirs and their caretakers daily lives.

I was in a motorcycle accident at 62 years old. Air lifted and stopped breathing 2 day coma. My husband of 52 years has struck by me and taught me to eat, walk, dress myself. He has stayed with me going on 10 years now. He is my soul mate!! It hasn't been easy on either of us but I am completely mobile and eat just fine. The first thing I swallowed was a potato chip...love them then and now. I have a brain leak that Duke Hospital in N.C is going to patch. I would appreciate a prayer line all over the world for all people that are suffering. Thank you for giving me the ability to rant. God Bless

This being the first time I've suffered such a catastrophic loss, I had no idea what is normal or natural and so suffered alone and for far too long without knowing anything. No one can judge another's way of grieving or how long they grieve, there is no normal.

Laura & Jon: R E S P E C T ! Just go on step by step, there's nothing to stop you. I saw a doctor beeing absoloutly stunned by the last MRI printout, he couldn't believe I healed my back without surgery, just by not accepting the status and fight for myself day by day. Not so good days I accepted and focused on the next day to become a better one, and was patient to myself. Now after 15 years later there has been no issue any more as long as I do a little workout constantly. Everything is possible.

Pat, We agree, we see miracles every day in our patients receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). Some are small improvements, some major. But you really can't discount any. For many people, its simple improvements in their quality of life that make huge impacts in theirs and their caretakers daily lives.
