I've been playing kelvin by maxing out the granade asap and rushing improved burst. At lvl 3 with improved burst you start hitting like a truck, just staying really high up out of their reach and just artillery mode and make them suffer. If the game is going well I usually kill the squishier enemies with just 3 grenades. I'll try your lazer focus build next time I play. Also I think you might have forgotten mentioning mystic slow, if you're gonna prioritize the lazer I imagine you want to rush it cause that item makes your lazer pure evil.
I usually just go for the extra charge on nade and max out ice path after the beam. I don't like mystic slow all that much tbh i feel like the 80% from baseline is crazy enough already, and i would rather save up for reverb than spending it on mystic slow in most cases. @@dayytonaa Oh I hadn't realized that the lazer builds up so much. I did some testing vs a enemy with enduring speed and mystic slow makes a ~30 meter run to a 26 meter run. Not nearly as much as I thought, though the fire rate reduction could make a huge difference in surviving vs dying, especially when the lazer splits to many people. So it's still really good imo, but not as good as I thought previously. And mystic reverb I hadn't considered. Honestly it feels better for my grenade build cause the damage boost is nothing with the lazer.
