- First episode of restoration of the 1967 series 2A.
This episode covers only the disassembly of the car. It's completely done by my Dad, it's his project I'm only stepping in when he needs a spare of hands. It will be like that through the whole restoration process since I have a project car of my own inside the garage and we don't mess into each others projects without asking :)
Series 2A will be completely done by my Dad, it will be one man job from sandblasting, metal work, interior, basically everything except painting and electrics where I will step in to help a bit. Every process will be filmed and uploaded in episodes about 15-20min length.

As Churchill once said, above all else never ever give in! Trust me it'll be worth it.
The chassis is in the process so that is taking a bit of time but it's going strong!
Great restoration project, maybe you could paint it desert pink, like those SAS Pink Panthers in Oman.
The idea is grey, slight possibility for going green but I'm kinda seeing it in grey 🙂

Yes, complete restoration. Next part will be assembly of both axles
I have a 109 Series 3 that I just shipped to the USA that I will be doing the same. All the way to the axles.
A very good video. It is always interesting to see a Series Land Rover getting restored. It is just such a huge shame you have decided to make it a "magic hands" video by not including any talking, or discussion about what is actually being shown on screen, or what decisions are being made. Thanks! I always have aversion to videos where there is 10 minutes of talking and a minut of effective work...so I may have gone to opposite side of that a bit too much 😄...
Over tighten all those ss bolts! They snap easy, cutting them with a grinder is dumb!
One more thing, you can talk and introduce yourselves.
