Dang, I've been declining 90% of my invites...forgot about the free connects! lol
Accepting an invite from a client, doesn’t gives free connects. 10 connects are earned only when a client responds to a bid, i.e our cover letter…
@@SandeepSinghJhinjer You actually do receive 10 connects if you send a proposal to their invite though
@@ayeg4174 nopes, if a clients posts a job, send you an invite and you as a freelancer respond to that invite, then we never receive 10 connects…
Confirm it again… and whenever you receive an invite, check the connects again…

why discord link expired?
After making changes to your pricing, bio, description, etc, how long does it usually take for the search pages to update?
Usually a few minutes to a couple of hours. Almost always within the same day.
@@lexdevillefreelancing I truly don't understand what's wrong with my profile. I'm a top rated music producer and yet it takes searching my name, state I live in, and job title just to find my profile. There are music producers with 0 earnings and no reviews that show up before. I don't understand.

@@lexdevillefreelancing Title is "Music Producer, Composer, Audio Engineer". There are a lot of other freelancers in my field with similar length of titles.

You get them when you respond to clients that replied to your proposals.

Please help, I have never gotten an invitation to my proposals except from scammers. I have tweaked my proposals severally. I have watched several videos and applied the techniques yet, nothing.
Hmm, I'm not sure I understand. You don't get invitations from proposals. You get invited to jobs when clients either find you in search results or Upwork recommends you as a good fit for a job the client posted. If you want invitations, you need to have a strong profile that stands out from other freelancers and demonstrates what makes you a better fit to help the clients you serve than someone else.

My upwork profile is public but I get 0 invites 😭
A public profile isn't enough to get invites regularly. Your profile needs to instantly prove your value to every client, and then it needs to have good feedback, 90% or higher JSS, and it needs to be on the first page of search results for your search term. Most freelancers should focus on writing better proposals. Invites are for freelancers who have already proven success on the platform. That doesn't mean you won't ever get an invite if you're new, but if you want a steady flow of invitations, you need to prove to Upwork and to clients that you're one of the best at what you do.
My profile is public with upwork plus account and 2 reviews then also I didn't get any invite or praposal accepting by client 😒😭
Why should they hire you over someone else?
You are absolutely wrong about accepting invitation (you said Upwork will give 10 connects for accepting invitations)
