Wait this is also one of yours what??? I've been listening to more and more of your songs and everytime I get recommended something good by the algorithm it seems to be you! Amazing music man.
To be honest, I never thought about it when listening to the song, but I do believe there's a really good explanation to why they might have went for that specific vibe at the beginning and tricked the listeners into thinking it was gong to be rock (cuz a lot of other reaction channels, my friends and me expected rock too). The thing is that the character, Hoederer, is a part of the Sarkaz race in Arknights, who are basically demons in the universe. From ancient times because of their actions, politics and ideals they tend to be really really hated by other races and nations, where there's even a huge stereotype that every Sarkaz is a mercenary who sells himself to anyone who pays well enough. Hoederer, on the other hand, loves his people and traditions, thinking that bravery and power help you do good deeds, whilst also being really sad about the state of opinion on their race from others. Basically, I think the song tries to call the listeners out on thinking with stereotypes as soon as they hear the voice of the singer and the used instruments at the beginning. Additionally, there's a lot of other phrases hinting at this thought ("You spread your hate like cancer"; "But I'm not your hired gun"; "Bullets to wars and nothing's won"; etc...).
really really love the lyrics on this one sent Hoederer straight into being one of my fav characters when I haven't even gotten to read the chapter lol they used rap so finely in here too with those deep cuts (ha ha) in there maybe it's just me not listening to rap as much anymore but I feel like using rap to speak true like that isn't as common anymore sadly
How about going for "Believing (Believed Believes)" next, its the song they released a few days before new years, tho it doesent really have relation to it As for future animation analysis, how about the 4th anniversary PV they just released on the EN side
Half of the experience is also the animated music video! But that's alright, you don't play the game, so I guess you wouldn't get the story portrayed by the MV. Just REALLY glad you got to the song, though!!! Thank you!
I am every mirror, you're just a wall Even if I crack, you will watch yourself fall Never heard any metaphoric yet badass line as i remember. Sht hits hard
Honestly not sure how much of a video it'd be or how much you'd have to talk about, but I'd kind of like to see an animation reaction video to the Arknights 4 year anniversary PV. It's not the typical sort compared to their other videos you've talked about, but it has some really nice aspects that I didn't really expect going into it.
This song give me Backstreet Boys/Weslife vibe but also that rap bit reminds me a bit of Nujabes. This song has a lot of things and all of them are great. Adam Gubman is truly the GOAT.
I usually dont like it when arknights has their rap breaks, but this is one that i really enjoyed. Really strong Nujabes vibes from the short rap portion.
Since the So Long, Adele event is releasing in arknights, it might be fun for you to react to its battle music, Effervescence (th-cam.com/video/JEtQcbP8y0U/w-d-xo.html). The reason I suggest this song is because its composer, Kirara Magic, released a track breakdown going over a lot of the layers at play in the music and some intentions behind it (th-cam.com/video/vX4IiFx7OWg/w-d-xo.html). It might be fun to do a slightly longer reaction video listening to the song blind and then going more in depth with the composer's thoughts.
metal hard rock? He's a teacher, history teacher and writer I don't think you should call him edgy either. He's not. He's just a soldier who got crushed by everything around him. He's not toxic, he's leveled head as the song described. He's a reflection of what history of Sarkaz is and he saw the truth why no one will ever accept it He saw the brainwashing to the young to be proud and how superior they are to other people He saw the worst of Sarkaz and he wants to change it. He wasn't easily convinced to come to our side and it took his comrades to bring him in. He realized that the whole shit was a sham.
Do TH-cam "Songs" (when the video only has audio and album cover without visual) like this have better audio quality than the PV or MV with visuals? Genuine question Because if they are the same quality, then I think it would be better if you react to the PVs since they have the full version of the song anyway nowadays.
