In 2010 he joined Swedish rock band H.e.a.t where he replaced their original singer and performed on Adress the Nation (2012), Tearing Down The Walls (2014), Into the Great Unknown (2017) and H.e.a.t II (2020). Worth mentioning is that in 2018 he played Simon Zealotes in Jesus Christ Superstar. In 2020 he left the band to focus on other stuff. He joined his buddy & former bandmate Jona Tee, keyboardist in H.e.a.t, in New Horizon. In 2021, he was diagnosed with leukemia. During the treatments he started his TH-cam channel because he promised to himself if he gets out of the hospital alive he'll sing for the rest of his life. He won the battle with that shit and he sings until this day. New Horizon released a debut album Gate of Gods in 2022 and on the same year, only couple of months after his treatment, he joined Skid Row as their new singer. And Skid Row was and is one of his favorite bands. He released an album with them called The Gang's All Here and played a lot of shows with them. All the while he kept releasing covers with many awesome badass musicians. In 2023, he released Eriksplanations Vol. 1 vinyl with some of his covers released until then. As for 2024 - his busy schedule made him unable to record new New Horizon so Jona teamed up with Nils Molin to bring it to life and Erik left the band. He also left Skid Row in March because he wasn't able to balance his full recovery and being in Skid Row. There's his sentence that stuck with me - "Always remember that no job, no money, no fame is worth your health and well-being. Health first. Always." If you like rock, I'm suggesting you checking out LizNoir which is a group in an idol anime or game or something :v They were actually voiced by a real idol group named Sphere from Japan. LizNoir songs are very catchy but it's from a game so people don't really know them. And “Breaking the Silence” is basically Erik’s song. Because it’s a “H.e.a.t” song and Erik was front singer there 2010-2020. So it’s not a cover for Erik, but it’s for Dan Vasc.
So it little bit sad that everyone finds Erik on Dan’s channel, when it’s Erik and H.e.a.t’s song.
Erik has all the time, from that he jumped off at a singer in H.e.a.t, played with Jona Tee, the keyboard player, on lots of other works together.
Look for “New Horizon”, a band Erik and Jona started together before Erik got leukemia. I think they have played all covers together and some new songs from “New Horizon” maybe coming up.

In this video after listening to both performaces one after the other i would love for you to share your opinion as to which of these two singers sang this song the best and why( Judika or Erik Gronwall).This should be a showstopper.
If you like rock, I'm suggesting you checking out LizNoir which is a group in an idol anime or game or something :v They were actually voiced by a real idol group named Sphere from Japan. LizNoir songs are very catchy but it's from a game so people don't really know them.
