Nightwish and Metallica where playing at Pinkpop (Netherlands) my first Nightwish and Metallica concert.
For sure this was not the standard Interview....but honestly I did not expect that from him....and also Credits to the Leonard.....well done and intelligent questions. Thanks a lot for that - now I am eaven more impatient till the Album is released....

A shame the original interview seems to have been removed or made private. It was much more in-depth with some additional fascinating things discussed about the album and the other upcoming singles. Perhaps there were spoilers but I didn't really feel that when I watched. It just made me a lot more excited about the album.

@@stefanassmann7082 No, there were no release dates mentioned but Holopainen discussed that there will be three singles and he listed them by track number. I forgot them and was looking for it again today and that's why I know the interview isn't available now. Maybe that information wasn't supposed to be revealed yet.
@@kammurabi2313 The Day Of... and Lanterlight are the next singles. So I think Tuomas shoudn't reveal that. haha

The band's name "Nightwish".
We may not have the same view points on evolution, the Bible, etc. I believe in both God and evolution. "Continuous Environmental Tracking: An Engineering Framework to Understand Adaptation and Diversification" Check out Randy Guliuzza's work. Precious friend of mine. However, I am proud of your band. Every human heart is unique and beautiful no matter our differences. I wish we all got along... None of us are perfect. I've had my struggles for sure. God bless you.
Could you guys at least fix the title of this video to correctly spell Nightwish? I would have wanted to hear more non-usual questions and I would have wanted to hear about the mix of Perfume of The Timeless: Floor's voice is clearly mixed much more silent than for previous albums. Was that intentional and why?

Maybe I'm too critical, but this guy is so unprepared with his questions. This interview could be informative only for a person who has never heard of Nightwish, but for me as a fan of Nightwish for more than 25 years I was curious to hear something new from Tuomas but these questions were so irritating. For 9 years Toumas has been inspired by Evolution, Origin of Species by C.Darwin, and many books by R.Dawkins (he even narrated "The Greatest Show on Earth"), so after the previous two albums this is the third chapter that supposedly should close the theme. After having the privilege to listen to the album 2 months ahead, one of the first questions the guy asks is what is the message of this album, come on, man, this is Nightwish, not your average band. I'm glad about the interview, but please discuss with your other colleagues what questions you could ask. As we know Toumas doesn't go to media often, so this interview was such a wasted opportunity.
That is smart human being talking. Listen, carefully. Not easy to do, but please try.
