Kai is a lot like Emppu. Very relaxed and doesn't take things too seriously. I'm sure they have a lot of fun in famous cabin lake when they relax every night. Food, beer, sauna and lake. Emppu and Troy are so hilarious that i'm sure it's wild 😄

I was saying it it kind of like in a joking manner....... And you're absolutely right with what you said and what's interesting is that it wasn't any of the symphonic metal bands that really influenced him the most he always talks about Metallica and Pantera which are definitely not symphonic metal LOL
I have unfortunately only seen nightwish once, my all time favorite band. I will see them when they come to america on the human nature tour, as my father vowed not to miss a nightwish show ever again, which i absolutely love lol. My father has met them in person after a show in denver, he and my mother are actuslly visible in the crowd on the "learn the setlist in 48 hours" on the imaginaerium tour, i was maybe 5 or 6 at the time and was unable tk go, so when my father started talking to tuomas, he told him about me, my little 5 year old ass running around the house singing nightwish songs, and tuomas loved these storys so much, my father says he looked a bit teary-eyed by the end of it, and i think thats just such a sweet moment and i would love to meet him myself some time
What a wonderful interview that is! The questions were all so interesting and felt way more varied than with many others to me personally. On a side note, omg, I could listen to Tuomas' thoughts, worldview and, well, simply his voice, for hours. Really hope in some alternative universe he's doing weekly podcasts.
Apparently sometime hopefully we'll get a book of short stories from him. I really, really would love to see that happen. Or a podcast, or anything. English or Finnish, I don't care. Heck, talk about Skyrim for hours, I wouldn't mind.
Tuomas was always my inspiration and a muse. I can relate to many things he's done and is doing, both personally and in songs, I'm an INFP as well. What I do still admire is his calm and thoughtful nature. He seems so much in-check with himself. There's like a strong boundary around him and I think that's a good way to keep your sanity. I wish I had that for me, my temper is more reactive to stimulus, sometimes to my own detriment.

I don't have a source for this but I heard the reason Pan isn't really played live is because it is incredibly difficult to play consistently on the guitar. Not sure why else they don't play it but that's what I heard.

I enjoy them all to be interviewed. But a simple fact is that Tuomas is leading the charts with flying colors what comes to number of interviews about NW. The reason is quite obvious cause he founded the band in 1996 and been the leader since that.

Floor's mic was picking up too much of Kai's drums and she said it was more difficult for her to sing. so they had two options: put a clear plastic (I may be wrong with the type of material) around Kai or move his set to the side. you can see the "cage" being put around a drummer who plays with Floor on her solo tour...
I remember when the samsung s2 came out I spent four days with my face in it. Pulled up to the mall parking lot before I even got out of my vehicle I looked down at my phone and I said I had enough of this so I shut it off and when I looked up everybody else had their face and their phones.
Hope new Nightwish album will be again full metal, not celtic folk or movie insrumental soundrack. Nightwish should tell Troy thank you and good bye and become again metal band. Floor Jansen is best metal singer who can sing from operatic vocals to death metal growling, but she has got almost any chance in Nightwish to prove what is in her till now. Sad but true.
It's makes any interview better when the interviewer is so obviously a huge fan and struggles to contain her joy at doing the interview. Great job.

First time i ever saw Nightwish live, and they didnt dissapoint. Their music can resonate feelings, that no other music can do.
I have seen them 22 times. First time the sound was only acceptable, after that 21 great giga!
