Yes but when camber is changed so is the toe so must be careful not to toe-in while adding or decreasing camber. Also too much toe-out will increase ackerman and too much ackerman can cause spinouts or inconsistency. Check steering at full lock as you play with different camber configurations to make sure the leading wheel has more angle than the trailing wheel 👍

It doesn’t just change camber. It also changes suspension geometry. Give it different travel patterns based on where it’s mounted. In stock locations. The wheels have basically no camber and toe change through the suspension arch. In another location, the camber can change well more then 5 degrees. So instead of just changing camber. It changes the entire driving characteristics. If you want to change camber. Add or remove the washers in the middle of the arm

Fuck yea! Super useful video! I also saw one where they removed the spacer in the arm! Basically a turnbuckle without a hex on it 😅 between the two, I should be able to dial in my set up! First time at the track, the car kept over rotating. Probably a combination of driver and set up 🤣😂

Box stock setup should be good to learn on. I learned on it just fine. Start doing donuts around an object and switch to figure eights. Nate sure you have the right tires too

I’ve won comps with the box stock settings and stock suspension… Just put in practice and driving time and maybe make adjustments to gyro gain to suit your driving. Be sure to only slightly steer and use throttle to make angle adjustments. Let the gyro do the countersteering

@@gravityracergt appreciate the advice! Hard to get much track time at the moment tho 😫 been busy with work and the track has been closed on my off days

@@ShakeHandsWithBeef extension cord and an empty parking lot or parking garage. Layout a course with the cord and practice. 30 minutes a night is what I did and I been killing it on track days

That changes chassis roll not made ro change camber changes the way the suspension pushes and pulls on the tires and suspension is traveling through its motion causing chassis roll or what they call side bite

I'm new to the drift hobby, & I bought a drift car by accident. I'd like to test my car in a straight line in a ca park, what sort of camber should I set my front wheels to? Thanks

Is it possible to set the camber to the neutral position without those fancy turnbuckles? Thanks

Should be fine! Just find your happy space! And remember the closer to the center of the chassis, the more negative camber!
