Good tip on the battery sliding around, and I'm also dealing with chassis slap. I'm going to check my shock fluid and add some fuel tubing for stops thanks!

It's so true what your saying about shipping the car from over sea, it would definitely help, if they would put a piece of foam under the chassis. That way shocks won't have any type of movement

Dig the Protoform 👍 I put an Amazon special initial D 86 body on my son's RMX. It had the BMW M3 out of the box. Veggie oil?? Nice!

Yep! Since this video I’ve went on to use 30wt Team AE oil in the rear shocks and Vegetable oil in front shocks. Improved my grip and works great

Should I save and buy an rtr or buy the kit and build on I’m completely new to this

If you are completely new I would recommend the RTR. Quite a few guys show up to the drift track with a totally stock RTR and I drive them and give them driving tips. They drive so smooth and are very very good on carpet. They are honestly easier to drive than some of the personally set up Yokomo YD2 chassis cars I have driven that people have built. The reality is that the MST is set up and tested right at the factory before they are sent out. My advice is get the RTR and don’t mess with any of the settings.. Get good at driving it and then once you have a “Driving style” make mods to better suit your needs as a driver. The best thing right now is to just get time behind the remote and not have to worry if it’s your set up. The RTR eliminates the set up issue since they are good out of the box. I’ll do a video this weekend and drive a totally stock RTR and show you guys how smooth they are.

How do I change the steering trim with the stock remote

There should be L/- and R/+ buttons on the remote

Which tape do you use for your battery?

Sorry for the late response. I cover it in another video where I show the box of the product as well as how it works. I’ll respond with a link for you.

This is what I use. I buy it in rolls though from Homedepot. It’s the same on both sides and locks down good. Never had any issues with battery coming out. Not even in my drag car.
