And for people saying this doesn't change the fact that he is still responsible: Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the armorer and the person responsible has already been sentenced to 18 months for manslaughter, so as tragic as all of this is, Halyna and her family has gotten justice (even if they don't think so). VERY poorly organized from the prosecutors office - one would expect a lot more professionalism. The judge seems fed up with the prosecution - unprepared, unprofessional & hostile ...now it seems they withheld evidence! THATS A BIG NO NO! HUGE MISTAKE & Because of that, the judge did the right thing & dismissed this weak case.

    • @geoffpoole483
      @geoffpoole483 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Perhaps they got cocky because Hannah Gutierrez Reed was found guilty? You're right about the lack of professionalism; although the sentence for involuntary manslaughter is relatively short it's still a very serious crime yet the prosecution team was sloppy. Although Alec Baldwin deserves no special treatment, one would have thought the prosecution team, knowing this trial was being streamed and would have a wide audience (hello from England by the way), they would make sure there were no potential glitches. Instead, their underhand conduct backfired on them.

      Although someone was killed and another person was injured, it's not a particularly complex case. Yes, it's high profile but the standards of investigation were sloppy. Baldwin was charged with involuntary manslaughter; that's very serious. If these officers were sloppy investigating a crime resulting in someone's death, imagine how sloppy they are when investigating less serious crimes.
