I wish there was a way for Maul to win this fight. It would be so interesting

The story went through a ton of brainstorming, but once we settled on a revenge story for Anakin to go after Maul, things kind of fell into place the way that they did.
We pushed the envelope a bit with Maul beating Dooku but definitely not Anakin. In the end we did consider an ending where you'd run away from Anakin and just leave known space, but that would've been boring.
