And one of the most important, Palpatine lied about vaders children, he was told that they died with padme and Vader was the one who killed his family.

He knows Anakin's mother is a liability and he knew Padme was a liability... Because he know that as long as they live, anakin will more likely return to Light Side.

Bruce manages to find the strength to embrace the fear of death, and in doing so he finds self worth which allows him to climb out of the hole that he has been trapped in his entire life. Now that Bruce has moved on, Alfred feels closure knowing that his duty is fulfilled. Lucius: Bruce may have discovered the will to become Batman from Ra's Al Ghul, but Lucius was the one who ensured that he truly was something more by making him the strongest and best equipped hero he could be. By helping Bruce become what he needs to be, not only does he find a purpose for himself as Wayne Enterprises tries to "keep him out of trouble." He is one of the first to help Bruce return to being Batman due to his strong friendship, and he manages to learn his valuable role in Batman's life when he discovers that his technology was useful, he also feels a sense of closure. Gordon: Gordon represents Gotham's heart itself. On the surface, he appears to be controlling the city with order, however it becomes apparent that deep corruption has taken hold of the city and therefore impedes Gotham's ability to enact true justice. That is why he is so connected to Batman, because he comes to learn that Gotham needs help against the corrupt mob. However, in his blindness he refuses to believe that the corruption affects him, which leads to the ultimate destruction of Harvey Dent, the white knight. He finally pays for his mistakes when Bane's revolution threatens to destroy Gotham, and only with Batman can he save the city he protects. Even when he resigns from the Police Force, realizing that the "structures have become shackles" which impose on the rightful legacy of Bruce Wayne, he retains faith in justice. Therefore, if crime ever did return to Gotham City, he would have to strength to rise into the symbol of Batman should the need arise. Bruce: Bruce goes through a quest to rediscover humanity as he takes on the persona of Batman. In order to find the means to fight injustice, he goes on a journey that pushes everything to the limit. His will is tested by Ra's, his morality is tested by the Joker, and Bane tests his spirit. As he struggles to protect his city, which he loves, he allows himself to be tested by all these individuals. He finally triumphs though and he manages to make Batman a symbol to believe in, all the while finally managing to find the strength to leave his past behind and embrace a new life. Wowza, the past can be a touchy subject with some folks. If there was something from the past I would bring up with Vader, I would talk about his podracing days and many of his victories on the battlefield in the Clone Wars way before he became the half machine half man Sith he was now. However, I would do my best to make sure he did not go on a crazy rampage and kill people. Rogue One was absolutely insane.
I'd remind Vader of the High ground. LOL JK. I'd remind him of a positive moment with his mother to try, and I do stress try, to bring him back to the light side.
Ahsoka, who was closer than anyone to Anakin bar Luke and Obi Wan, tried to bring him back and he tried to eviscerate her for it. The *only* person he would even allow to get close to him is Luke, and even that cost Luke a hand.
I'd bring him back the memory that the father took from him on mortis. The revalation the son gave him about how he would bring unbalance and destroy the Jedi. If he stuck to his attachments. So that "he could see what he was meant to see". And not the other way around
For what it's worth I would remind Vader of his relation with Ahsoka. There was clearly more between them than Master and Padawan should usually have, so it might be worth a try. Ask him if he thinks she'd still look up at him like she did back in the day. Not sure if that'd work, but it might at least stall fighting him.
I would remind him that his thirst for power and knowledge was more important than anything else. Hopefully, I would then have some data on say Kenobi or Yoda that would grant me not only my life, but perhaps a place with the Dark Lord to finish off whomever it is I have location of.
I think that something as traumatic as what Vader went through can never truly be forgotten so easily. It's a feat in it self for Vader to be able to supress thinking about his past failures and making himself suffer for them.

Wowza, the past can be a touchy subject with some folks. If there was something from the past I would bring up with Vader, I would talk about his podracing days and many of his victories on the battlefield in the Clone Wars way before he became the half machine half man Sith he was now. However, I would do my best to make sure he did not go on a crazy rampage and kill people. Rogue One was absolutely insane.

Ahsoka, who was closer than anyone to Anakin bar Luke and Obi Wan, tried to bring him back and he tried to eviscerate her for it. The *only* person he would even allow to get close to him is Luke, and even that cost Luke a hand.
If you’re not Luke, i hardly doubt Lord Vader will listen to you, any human being who tried to bring Vader to the Lightside ended up Dead.

I'd bring him back the memory that the father took from him on mortis. The revalation the son gave him about how he would bring unbalance and destroy the Jedi. If he stuck to his attachments. So that "he could see what he was meant to see". And not the other way around

For what it's worth I would remind Vader of his relation with Ahsoka. There was clearly more between them than Master and Padawan should usually have, so it might be worth a try. Ask him if he thinks she'd still look up at him like she did back in the day. Not sure if that'd work, but it might at least stall fighting him.
I would remind him that his thirst for power and knowledge was more important than anything else. Hopefully, I would then have some data on say Kenobi or Yoda that would grant me not only my life, but perhaps a place with the Dark Lord to finish off whomever it is I have location of.
Padme loved him
I think that something as traumatic as what Vader went through can never truly be forgotten so easily. It's a feat in it self for Vader to be able to supress thinking about his past failures and making himself suffer for them.

This is what I love about Darth Vader, he was such a tortured character and loved Padme so much he never stopped.

I have been thinking about this, how it's all Obi Wan's fault that he turned to the dark side, if it was Qui Gon, Anakin would be a great Jedi master.
But something stroke me, there's another person to blame for him turning to the dark side, Padme.
I'm not talking about they got married, Anakin fell deeply in love with her, would risk everything to save her from death.
I am talking about how ridiculous it was after young Anakin helped them fixing their ship, later destroyed a command ship of the trade federation and winning the war. No one seemed to give any thoughts about freeing his mother!!! How hard would it be to free a slave, I mean, Padme was only a Queen on a freaking planet!! If Simi Skywalker was freed right afterwards, Anakin wouldn't grow up and worry about her wellbeing constantly, she wouldn't die in his arms, and he wouldn't slaughter the sand people which just pushed him further and further to the dark side.
