This reminds me of the revival I did on my 69 Ranger I pulled from a field. All sorts of history to be unpacked during a good cleaning! Hype to see the build!
Awesome find this truck is going to produce some great content, as a old Ford guy I am so jealous. Can't wait to see what you do with this cool old truck.
Hey Craig: Surprising solid '69 F-250 Crew Cab (Found On the Road Dead) Soddy School Bus P/U that you've got there... Nice that the rig has aftermarket A/C to it along with the 390 engine for its powerplant... It'll probably be pretty easy to find a door latch assembly for the passenger rear door as well as getting the other parts in order to the roadsteration to it to make it roadworthy again... A thorough clean-up both in and out and you've got a pretty reliable rig for the next several years... From the home of PB Blaster...Cleveland, Ohio....
dude congrats i’ve been watching you since i got my f100 and that was when you were swapping the 5 speed in the f100 you’ve came along way and hope sometime soon we cruise cruisin grand
Two of my favorite utuber together cant wait for more videos love to meet both of you im try to get my Thunderbird read for power tourer hope to see you there as long as i can get there
I drove a 1967 ford 250 crew cab to school. Not 100% on the year don't think it was 69'. Great find👍 I have on truck left Ford 600 winch truck 1961. I think it would be a good idea to drive it. Thanks for these type of videos.
Soddy is great but if you have some off-road 4wd vehicles Bakewell mtn nearby has some places on it that are fun. Bring a winch, the mud gets deep in places.
I have been watching you and Solomon aka "Ford Era" for a long time. I too am a Ford truck lover. So, after a lot of encouragement from family and friends, I have started my own channel. Thanks for a great example and keep the videos coming!
And the 70 Ford F-250 ranger custom I have mentioned before that was my dad's daily driver growing up was a Wimbledon white and carmine red and it was a 360 autolite 2bbl Fe,4spd granny gear Borg Warner dumptruck transmission it was a 3spd on the column shifter truck and it was also a 4.56 .1 Dana 60 no ac but factory pwr steering on a factory stick truck is kinda cool lol, had a power steering cooler 4 wheel drum brakes.
I had a "69" F250, 2 door w/390, 4 speed. (originally a 360 yuck). Holly 4brl and Blackjack Headers. Eventually bought a set of 18" GM doolies, cut out the center's to fit the Ford axle. That ol dog could fly. Out ran the cops with it. What a tank!!!! I'd definitely change out the gearing in this 4 door for something more highway friendly.
Cool ass truck…..my buddy had a ‘72 hiboy back in the day……..good times…..390 four speed truck , we used to wheel that thing through sum deep ass mud pits!!!!
Wow. I would love to visit that field of trucks. We owned at one time a 72 F100 Ford Ranger XLT. Auto,a/c and a 360 V-8. We had the truck until early 90’s sold it with original under 60k miles.
OMFG.. is that a 74 Monaco Police Package sitting right next to it? As a Blues Brothers nut for my entire life.. that is one car I'd absolutely love to own. I swear the Monaco holds the distinction of being the first car to look better as a four door than a two door. I can't believe they're unibody. The corner of that cab can be pretty easily fixed by someone with a stud welder and slide hammer and the knowledge of how to use it.. it's not very hard, so long as you don't start ripping holes in the panel. I don't get how you're saying that NP435's always have issues with third gear.. I owned one and my parents owned another and we never once had problems finding third in either.. even when I was learning to drive. (89 F150 w/300 and 76 F100 w/360, both 4WD)
Hey, if you ever take the spindles off, I'll buy them off of you. Or if you know where I can get some '69 spindles from an F250, I'd love to know. Need them for a disc brake conversion on my '67!
Ive literally been looking for one of those for the past 25 years during that time ive seen 3 of them Two were running driving trucks that werent forsale the last one had been stripped of most of its parts and in a junkyard
Cool asf how close you was to my house probably an hour away give or take and you live so far away been watching the videos for a few years so it's really cool and had me so pumped up when I seen you came so close to my town I go past Soddy a lot
If you run into any issues on your way up to bowling green I am stationed at Fort Campbell on the Ky/TN boarder and originally from TN just send a message.
Man you should have came and seen me I'm just over here in spring city Tennessee you could have made some videos on My trucks I got that 73 f750 fire truck and the 66 Chevy truck with the Corvette engine but bad ass crew cab i love it

There are whiskey bumps that make dents. That looks more like a whiskey sliiiiide. Ol' boy may not have know what happened until the next mornin'. LOL

So happy for you. Have fun with the crew
Can you make this a build
I wish I could find one in my price range here in Utah you got to pay five grand or more for one and 40% of the parts are missing
Originalish with few modern updates. Sweet tow pig.
